Rico, I agree with you on your comparison of the Pinay and Maya women.
The influences of the Islamic belief on how Muslim women should conduct themselves is very strong and is a key factor in the differences of religious culture.
I also believe the poverty level in the Philippines is a strong influencing factor as well.
Some Filipino women of all ages may be more open to foreigners because of the poverty driver. The need for money for the basic necessities for their kids and extended families could compromise their Catholic values.
On a personal note, I wonder if poverty in the Philippines is the primary driver of me watching older American men with younger poor Filipino women.
This doesn’t just apply to the Philippines any developing or Third World country may run into the same problems .

@@SupplySergeantDeliverySystemsL That's a good perspective on it. As time goes on cultures are altered and becoming more modernized. Hopefully not too much. I know some people like myself still enjoy traditional ways.
