Switch in some foldable Maxxis Grifter or Torch tires. Maybe add lightweight tubes. Some 13-Butted Chromoly handlebars. A set of 1-piece steerer tube forks. Then cranks (Colony 22 or Venator) and wheels (Fly Lunar Lite rims). Planetary tech (BSD, Cult, Colony) freecoasters are lighter than traditional freecoasters and pegs with alloys inners (Sunday Seeley) are pretty light also.
even though i have a basically custom bike (super high end complete) this still applies to me sadly. my wethepeople originally came with a set of eclat dynamic hubs laced to saltplus rims from the factory but the previous owner decided to downgrade to a set of revenge wheels and the front hub bearings were ovalized when i got the bike so my front hub's always been loose and rattly. still pissed about that lol
Bro i ride a whethepeople hybrid coaster 600g ( witch i like colour wise and for the stuff im doing), a bmx race fork witch is 600g, a VD3 Frame witch is 2.2 kg, premium Cranks witch are about 900g and KHe wheels with the KHE Mac2 tires on but my bike still wheights around 10 kg like how you are getting light weight bikes around 8 kg, cause it makes Tailwhips and higher seat posts (i ride big dirtjumps with the mtb guys whitch is nessesaraly for doing barspins or bar combos above big jumps) possible. Like how?
Can you review your bike that hang on the wall, tell the size tell the brand and why you choose the part to put on your bikes. So that we know what is the pro setup
Lighter the bike feel the better it feels to ride. Even tho its expensive af im wondering if an eclat carbonic rim + steel spokes is stronger than ti spokes + alloy rim. The cabon rim + steel spokes is definitely lighter as the rim os further out rotational weight than the spokes and you can run tubeless with those rims. Can someone that knows whats up cover this question?!
rotational weight makes the biggest difference. carbon rims are sick but they're so expensive it's not really worth it. the best way to shave weight for not too much money is folding tires and tubolito tubes. if you want to upgrade the rims go alienation have really light rims that are pretty inexpensive. the alienation deviant rim is only 305 grams which is pretty crazy but they're brakeless rims, so if you run brakes you can get an alienation runaway rim for the rear, which are 406 grams. also if you really need to check if your bars are made of straight gauge tubing rather than butted. i used to run straight gauge bars and when i got bars made of butted tubing the weight difference was pretty crazy.
I've built a custom bike BSD Freedom, caliburs, R15's, Grime bars, Fed FC Aero wheels, Cinema tyres, 4×alloy/plastic pegs, piv seat/post. But my 2016 United Martinez 24.9kg with 1×brake 2×steel pegs which is the same as a Sunday Soundwave. The custom bike is way more heavier, so much for Aftermarket chromoly, really disappointed 😞
So to save weight your saying change the whole bike and at the end it’s around 1,200$ so for that just build a custom bike and you can get it the way you want because cranks and rims-alone is 500$ so 500$ for bike 500$ for upgrades 2 new tires is another 70-80$ so that kinda price just build one up if weight is that big a issue and you can spend around 1200$ and get evry part you want all aftermarket and to your specs because buying a complete bike is cool but don’t buy one if your thinking of putting a lot more money into it just get the parts yourself or ride the complete as is and maybe do small less expensive upgrades
I run DMR v12 magnesium pedals on my WTP Audio and they are only 39 grams lighter than the stock plastic pedals. Not really worth it but super grippy though.
Good advice bud

Just brought a colony premise haven’t rode since 2017 but it seems to be the best option for the price. 23.7lbs so fairly light
That's a feather.
Seal the frame. Install an air valve, fill with helium.
Instructions unclear; my frame floated away.
@@kirkwickham3336that's a good thing
That's literally getting rid of like the whole bike bro
Lmao @@kirkwickham3336
Also attach helium filled party balloons

I noticed a pretty big difference with getting the tubolito tubes. I wanna try getting the berd spokes next

So what are those tires that you said you were gonna leave a link to in the description.
Fr like wtf
@isaiasdejesus2946 he likes Demolition momentum but try Odyssey super circuit, even lighter
Demolition tires and a half link supreme chain made a 100% change in right and feel
Wouldn’t half link chain be heavier than conventional full links?
@@sevengramrocks2746yea but performance wise, worlds difference in my eyes
The proper term for "rotation weight" is moment of inertia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moment_of_inertia

Bro, he doesn't respond to comments👎
Anyone have any good references for best pedals thatcare light.

I'm like 290lbs of beefiness, I wanted to buy a wtp buck frame, but I dunno if thats the best for me

Where are these links in the description?
Thats what im saying but im saying it six months late😂
Light tires 💯. Everything else is weight weenie crap.
Are those Demolition tires?
Would it be better to ride plastic padels or heavy metal pedals
Plastic just imagine hitting your self or leg on metal

Gotta learn to slide 180's and you will never need brakes again. 😜
But you will need tires
Brakes are for whimps
