Wouldn't have forgotten the caps if you had read the instructions! When I got my car last year an unfitted wind deflector came with it amongst other bit and bobs. Since I didn't know how it fitted and clearly couldn't be bothered to research, stuck it in the loft and to be quite honest forgot about it. Going to retrieve it and stick it on the car tomorrow! Cheers guys.

Yeah that's true, but real men don't read instructions hahaha.
Watch out for spiders in the loft!!

Quick question, are you still able to put your roof cover on when the wind stop is installed?

Just ordered one as they are 10% off at the mo with MX5 Parts 👍🏻 They are out of stock at the moment but some are due in shortly. Card won’t be billed until despatched.

So this would fit with my TR Lane roll bar as you mention? That’s certainly got me thinking…. 🤔

I have that wind blocker on my NA and the issue I have is that is a little too low, so I still have a lot of air at top of my head. It is still way better than without the blocker. If you're thinking "then just mount it higher using the brackets" then it won't fit in the car with the roof up or it would just interfere a little bit too much in the "unzip rear window, put window down while holding blocker up, put roof down" process. I think the blocker is a must have for the car, but I also think that the guys at I.L. Motorsport could make a revision on the product and improve a bit the design somehow.

All fair comments, I'm short so it works for me :)

@@lightsuplightsdown3018 I'm not *that* tall (180) but definitely my hair suffers while driving top down, haha. Also thank you for the addendum, I always wanted to see how the stock NB blocker worked so it may be better than the aftermarket one. Definitely not better

Question: How many pots of tea can it strain before cleaning/burn through? I have a US-made Hard Dog roll bar, may not fit...

Be aware if you have these, when you go for MOT make sure it's down as the examiner will say rearview mirror obstructed view and put it down as an advisory.
Also who,s is the white car in the background by container.

That's a new one for me, your MOT tester must have been having a bad day :)

@@lightsuplightsdown3018 Drivers door and one other mirror mandatory, don't need interior if there's a passenger side mirror, so yeah, sounds like grumpy tester :)

Uhhh, it's a wind deflector, almost all drop tops have them... the rear view mirror isn't even mandatory...

That's true, I actually find that without a windstop if I open the drivers side window I get less buffeting in the drivers seat, weird, but true

Quick tip for winter/cold weather top down driving: put the heater to the front vents and footrest and close the passenger window. You can leave the driver window down and you'll be warm
