Biggest and most important “secret” that wasn’t told though is Chick Fil A ONLY uses Sunkist lemons for their lemonade bc of the sweetness they have when grown. If you have a Costco membership you can get the Sunkist lemons in 5lb bags (at least here in the West coast). Using any other lemon brand will alter the flavor.
They used to make lemon meringue pie using the lemon juice and I think corn starch and gram crackers with butter mixed in for the crust. They would beat up egg whites with sugar mixed in last and using a plastic spatula they would first pile on the egg whites in a large mound and then go around it flattening the middle of it while doing the design on the outside part of the egg whites and then just brown it and put it in the fridge. They would let it sit for a hour or two before cutting the lemon meringue pie
The biggest secret is that they actually make lemonade with lemon juice instead of being cheap and selling pre-made artificial lemonade made with lemon flavoring like every other restaurant.
Most stuff was time consuming and if someone quit without training up a new person then the manager had to make it while training someone else because the manager knew how to make everything in the restaurant
It’s actually not tap water, that faucet specifically is filtered. That’s why she’s not at a regular sink to prevent messes, she’s at that table because it’s fultered
You have to chill the lemons so they don't taste FERMENTED and as soon as you squeeze the juice, then you need to rush the lemon juice to the refrigerator and make the 4 gallons of lemonade as you need it and one employee would add a couple of scoops of ice instead of water in the lemonade so it would be cold until the machine cooled it as it kept it mixed up and you can watch the lemonade machines mix up the lemonade with waterfalls around the inside of the machine
They now may use Sunkist but they didn't ALWAYS use Sunkist and a few independent chick fil A's would buy concentrated lemon juice and then squeeze real lemons and use 50/50 of the concentrate plus the fresh squeezed lemon juice to save money and it would taste the same
No it's not. I used to work at chick fil a and they expected the cup to stay in the sugar bin so it didn't get contaminated and dry stuff doesn't grow germs, sugar is a preservative and doesn't have any expiration date
Chick fil a uses equal. They didn't have Splenda when they started making the diet lemonade. 8 cups lemon juice and 6: cups sugar or 1.5 cups equal to make 4 gallons of lemonade and they are watering down that recipe now
8 cups lemon juice in a liquid measuring cup and 6 cups sugar in a dry ingredients measuring cup and add 4 gallons of water for the ORIGINAL extra strength lemonade but they water it down now. Most chick fil A's still use 100% FRESH squeezed lemons that have to be CHILLED first and then chilled again after squeezing the juice out until you need to make the lemonade. A few of the franchises who are owner operated buys lemon juice concentrate guaranteed to be real lemon juice and then they squeeze real lemons like traditional and use 50% concentrate and 50% fresh squeezed lemon juice to make the lemonade and they taste the same. Matter of fact I like the lemonade using half concentrated lemon juice and half fresh squeezed. You have to keep the lemons and lemon juice cold at all times so it doesn't get the fermented lemon taste to it like the store bought lemonade
For diet they used to use 8 cups lemon juice and 1.5 cups equal to make 4 gallons of diet lemonade but I always felt it was too sweet tasting but we always made it by the recipe and they are expected to use a plastic utensil and get a little bit to taste test it and throw away the spoon. If they felt like say the cole slaw was too dry and needed more sauce then he would open up a spoon and get a bite and they would make a extra batch of sauce and use part of it in the cole slaw and save the rest for the cole slaw the next day. They have cameras inside and outside of every chick fil a and only the inside of the bathroom is camera free
Chick fla I eat u guys and your food awesome and pop ye is good to but chick fla way better I love the lemando thx man I play play place it very fun and I loveee .Mac and cheese u there and so it’s soo good and your chicken
Except this is not true, It is actually from a pre-mix, as well as cups and cups and cups of sugar. They cut out the beginning of this video where they put in the pre-made concoction. as if this isn't bad enough, They charge you .30 cents extra when it says the drink comes with the meal. I've lost all respect for chick-fil-a. the marketing, design, and architecture all by design to make you feel like you eating home-cooked family food. nope! just another fast food giant squeezing wallets and portions. The fillets and the wraps use to be massive, and the cost used to be under $10 a meal. now the nickel and diming! They are trying to cut their way to profitability in hopes we do not notice, the price went up, the meal went down. and most will not notice. but you lost a customer for life today. Have fun with your .30 cents. you might have made a lot more without it. Join me in voting with our wallets. bye chick-fil-a!
I can't get past the 30 pennies for a drink that bothers you. That's cheaper than most places and if that was such a big issue, you could've always just saved a cup and never paid for a drink again.

i love how they explain it to us like we can just walk behind the counter and start making it😀
Make it at home.
never thought my favorite thing on chick fil as menu is the lemonade
Sameeee
I looooove that lemonade

Never thought this would be posted on the internet but I don't regret watching it
I love the transparency. I buy the lemonade in gallons.
8 cups of lemon juice, 6 cups of sugar with different measuring cups for liquid versus dry ingredients then mix and add water to reach 4 gallons
I'm learning their lemonade recipe so I can make my own frosted lemonade
Just get vanilla ice cream and lemonade and blend it and that’s how you make the frosted lemonade
The biggest secret is that they actually make lemonade with lemon juice instead of being cheap and selling pre-made artificial lemonade made with lemon flavoring like every other restaurant.
GOOD JOB EMILY!!
This video give me cold sweats just looking at that lemon juice
Me just finished ordering a large chick fil a lemonade not having any regrets lol
Funny when I was at Chik Fil A a week ago, they pulled out sealed bags of the lemon juice with the pulp
I had to make like 7 or 8 lemonade today I’m officially a pro at it💀💀
Was specifically wanting to make the Diet Lemonade and didn't hear how much Splenda is the that bulk pouch...
We use 16oz packets!
How clean is the table and the bottom of the container she set the hand mixer on? It should be set on something.
1 cup lemon juice to 5.5 cups water got it 💐🔥
thank you!! but how much sugar?
What were the dark pieces swirling around in it after she stirred it? 😦
All that sugar!!!???? Lol still bomb
Most stuff was time consuming and if someone quit without training up a new person then the manager had to make it while training someone else because the manager knew how to make everything in the restaurant
that tap water gives it the extra zing ....👌🏾
Sad face

At least we know its fresh and if its messed up we know who made it
the sticker gets thrown away so you won't know who made it. we are all trained the same

Leaving the measuring cup inside the sugar bin is a health code violation 😉

Is that water clean?
Fuck no, it’s cancerous causing delicious tap water.
@@noneofyourbusiness1903after seeing this video, is it better to just stick to drinking their sweet tea, or is it best to not get a drink at all?
How much sugar to the 2 qts of juice.....it never did say! Also now much Splenda??? to 2 qts???
Chick fil a uses equal. They didn't have Splenda when they started making the diet lemonade. 8 cups lemon juice and 6: cups sugar or 1.5 cups equal to make 4 gallons of lemonade and they are watering down that recipe now

Lmao I’m the one who makes the lemonade almost everyday
What's the secret to the lemon juice?!
You're doing Gods work, that lemonade has got to be the best i've had
You have any idea how much sumar they use
I worked here before and this is definitely not how they do it. They have each lemon squeezed separately
Chick fla I eat u guys and your food awesome and pop ye is good to but chick fla way better I love the lemando thx man I play play place it very fun and I loveee .Mac and cheese u there and so it’s soo good and your chicken
They really started slacking on the customer service at Chick-fil-A. Just another sub par fast food chain now.
sometimes I squeeze lemons for my whole eight hour shift, it’s child abuse.
I doubt u do that anymore cause here in LA we stop hand squeezing lemons, now corporate sends pre-squeeze lemon juice in bags
@@IrwinOchoa we just got them in md!
@@emilyr6675 I’m glad hearing this
Ngl I’ve seen them pour a whole bottle of Minute Maid into it
Oh so that thing get me 125 pound
Now they are watering down the lemonade and they are not following the original recipe
MY WIFE
This aged well 😭😭😭

What??? It's not fresh squeezed lemons??? I'm taking my business elsewhere . Jk
