  • Understanding Why FSH is affecting your fertility?
    Ever heard about FSH? It stands for Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH) and it is CRUCIAL to your fertility!
    Why?
    Because without balanced FSH, you’re more likely to experience:
    ➡️ Irregular ovulation (making it harder to pinpoint the window you’re most likely to conceive
    ➡️ A diminished ovarian reserve and/or lower egg quality (as FSH is an indicator of both your quality and quantity of eggs)
    ➡️ Other fertility conditions like PCOS or POF where imbalance FSH levels are a symptom and by-product of these untreated conditions

    Thank you for your valuable videos! They are precious. I am very grateful for all the information you’re sharing. I’ve followed all your recommendations from the videos on your channel and in just 2 months I’ve increased AMH from 0.01 to 0.17 and decreased FSH from 29 to 3.3.
    Thank you 🙏

      @@AhmadGul-lt9bothis is not only supplements. I did all that was mentioned in the video - reduced stress, normalised sleep, followed clean diet (reduced sugar to minimum, I do not eat added sugar at all, do not drink coffee, eat vegetables, fruits, berries, white meat, whole grains, drink more water etc.). As for supplements I followed the suggestions from the guide that was shared by Dr. Marc Sklar. I also exercise, reduce chemicals at home. So I just do everything that is suggested in the videos on this channel and I’m committed. This is new way of life.

    Thank you Dr. Marc for taking the time to do this video, it was a wealth of information!!!🙌💛 I’m a 35 1/2 year old woman, very fit, eat clean, no alcohol no smoking etc. with AMH of .483 and DHEA of 146 ug/dL, FSH 4.34, LH 4.59, Estradiol 27.03. Is my DHEA low where it may help if I supplement with DHEA?

      That is not something I can guide on here but I would say that you should consult with someone or get coaching around this to make sure you get the support you need. It does look lower than I would like to see.

    My FSh is 10.5 and my AMH is 1.75. I am 30 and was told IVF was the best chance of having a baby.
    I also have an autoimmune disease that causes inflammation in my body. Would those numbers susgest my ovaries are “tired” and my egg quality bad?

      We would need to look at all your other hormones to confirm this and determine how to proceeed.

    • @MarcSklarTheFertilityExpert
      @MarcSklarTheFertilityExpert  Месяц назад

      No. In and of itself it is fine but we would need to look at it in relation to your other thyroid labs.

  • @thecuriousone12

    I am 30 years old, with an FSH of 16-17 (varies cycle by cycle) and an AMH of 2.5. Ovulation is confirmed, regular periods (albeit very light bleeding), doctors have ruled out POF (since the AMH is good for my age) and they are suspecting some auto-immune disease. Is there any hope for natural conception ? Been trying for almost 1.5 years now. I take 200 mg ubiquinol /day as I understand it helps in egg quality, among other supplements. I don't know what else can I do. Not sure if IVF would help me since the medication they give contains FSH, which would be useless for my case.

    • @MarcSklarTheFertilityExpert
      @MarcSklarTheFertilityExpert  Месяц назад

      I do think that natural conception is still possible. I would need to look at your other hormones in additional to ruling out any autoimmune issues. I would not think of IVF until we were able to lower your FSH.

    My doctor says fsh cannot determine egg quality. I wish it could though. My fsh is 5.7 but cant get pregnant. Amh is good at 6 and all other labs including thyroid, thyroid antibodies are good. Rpl bloodwork good. Katotype fine.HSG, endometrial biopsy, ultrasounds, and hysteroscopy is normal. Husbands sperm motolity, morphology and count are all excellent.

    What is the relation between the hormones that is healthy?e.g FSH vs. Estrogen?

      I don't understand your question. can you clarify?

    • @curlyenne
      @curlyenne Месяц назад

      @@MarcSklarTheFertilityExpert of course! You mentioned that you would like to see FSH between 5-10 IUI/l generally. And then at 3:07 you added the caveat that it should be looked at in relation to other hormones.
      Is there something like a quotient one could calculate to see if the ratio between the different hormones and FSH is in a normal range?
      I hope this makes sense 😅
      Thank you anyway for your feedback and great videos ❤️

    • @TheSklarfamily
      @TheSklarfamily Месяц назад +1

      @@curlyenne You are looking for FSH and LH to be as close to a 1-1 ratio as possible and for the E2 to be between 30-80.

    • @curlyenne
      @curlyenne Месяц назад

      @@TheSklarfamily thank you! 🙏🏽 I think this could actually be an issue for me as my FSH/LH quotient was 0.32 last year april (lh 7.5/ fsh 23.3) and 3 month later it was 1.6 (lh 16.85 / fsh 10.5)..
      I changed a lot of things since then. I will do another test soon.

    • @kirst.7318
      @kirst.7318 Месяц назад +2

      Doubt you’ll get a reply. Go to your GYN and get lab work done. I bought FSH tests online (5 in a pack) I took 2 and they were high.. (he talks about vitamin D in other videos) I had my PCP do tests on me and I was Vitamin D deficient., so she prescribed me Vitamin D. Long story short, I ordered “Fertility Supplements” and “Vitamin D” 2 days later I tested my FSH and it was normal.. so, yeah.. I’d get a blood work up done first. I’m almost 35 with a 15 y/o and 2 y/o and I’ve have MMC (2) I’m TTC.. I also have LH test strips to test for when I’m supposed to ovulate. Something that is SO simple for others is so hard for us. It sucks. Sending you BABY DUST & prayers.

    Wow thanks, no matter if you’re 40 or whatever, after reading Dobbie Nerkstrol's guide, I ended up pleasantly surprised. Within 60 days anyone can get pregnant, feeling the changes in your body the first few weeks. After go’ogling her I understood it's not a miracle kind of thing like the title suggests, but you can bet you'll boost your chances.
