I tow with my 2017 Nissan XD with the Cummins 5.0 diesel. It’s about 10,000 lbs total with trailer weight. It’s not exactly aerodynamic so I only go 60 mph on hwy. I get about 8 to 9 mpg.
That’s right, the RV dump has the ability to padlock. Many lakes allow it but their natural resource folks will put one of their locks on it or want to see a lock in it. When you pull out, they’ll take it off. Many boat have the ability to dump overboard and pump out. They all usually have some way to lockout the overboard dump if need be. I think it’s a Coast Guard regulation. I suppose if you wanted to be an ass and dump into a lake you could get one of those 12 volt pump out units and let’er rip as disgusting as that sounds 🤮. I use it as an RV a lot so I dump at dump stations.
I visited the factory and about to order a lil’ hobo with the 115 Yamaha. Could you tell me the the manufacturer and size of the prop you are using? Thanks
@@JoeHasGotToGo Very true, the 18 gal tank I put in gave me a fairly far range. I did keep four (6 gal) fuel jugs on board for both the generator and outboard. I could go a far distance between fill up then.
Life kinda got in the way unfortunately. It was a great boat for the year that I had her. Logged many fun hours on her both land and sea. @@foreverfloridian8525
Very nice rig!

In any Corps lake you can have a big problem even having the ability to dump waste in the lake, need pump out only.

Imagine if you can tow it with an amphibious truck. It can basically go anywhere

There website is in the description. I bought mine 4 years ago. They list their current prices on their website.

Any update videos coming? Following
Any options for a larger gas tank?
No, it came with a plastic 12 gallon tank. Has something to do with coast guard requirements. I installed an 18 gallon aluminum tank.
@@MegaSling wonder what the coastguard requirements are? 12 gallons won’t get you far

I am building a houseboat with almost same LxW size. How much the height and width of the hull? Is there any storage in them?
Not sure on the width and height of the hulls. Sold the boat about 10 months ago.
@@MegaSlingjust curious, why did you sell?

how much is the trailer for the 31'?
A little over $7000
Do they make smaller ones
No, 31' is their smallest houseboat. I think they make other smaller party type pontoon boats but I'm not sure.
they make a 26'
@@sandralee540 they have in the past, not sure about now though. There current brochure doesn’t show a 26 hobo.
How much is this?
$65.000 plus what ever outboard you choose up to 115 hp.
That is a good value. I’d use it for trailer camping as well. Probably sets pretty decent fuel economy..
A little over $7000.
