My fiancée was balling. She was sad for Charlotte’s wasted life waiting on a broken irreparable man when she deserved to JUST be happy. She said this world has done this repeatedly to women, to tie them to broken men, when the women wereFAR better. But it’s never tied good men to broken women.
@@nothereyetlost imo i think there was a point in their relationship where charlotte just didn't see george because it was too hard to see him that way and he was never going to get better. if its true then it makes that last scene so much sweeter as they reunite. i also think that the love they shared was so sincere, and it brought different races together in society, so charlotte may have felt that she couldn't leave. its not necessarily a bad thing that she didn't leave.
@@hemz978 yeah the love WAS sincere don’t get me wrong but no WOMAN would’ve chosen that if given all the facts ahead. And her falling in love with happened bc of manipulation. Finally someone says it! In the first season, the guy is so toxic. He can’t make up his mind and he hurts Daphne just because he has 0 communication skills. Daphne is so predatory and weird for what she does towards the end. She thinks she has an excuse but truly doesn’t
@@Honeyvee22I agree but it was a different time back then, what we know and have the knowledge of today they didn’t to them it was normal life. the biggest thing to them back then was continuing their family bloodline especially for the women since a women’s job basically was to raise the next heir plus Daph dream was being a mother so she can have her own family so ofc her finding out she was lied to and she could actually have kids she would keep pushing to have one even if it’s deemed as wrong in todays time. I’m pretty sure what we do in todays time will be deemed as something weird or bad in the future as well.
@sammie8917 i don't believe that rape was something taking as casual between partners back then. It certainly wasn't punished like nowadays. But I don't believe that women were ready to rape their husband just to get pregnant. And even if for some reason that would've happened, i'm sure they still knew it was bad to do so.
Nothing could've prepared me for this emotional rollercoaster of a show. I literally felt every emotion. The Brimsley scene and the under the bed scenes are my favourites.
Yea, I don't think Brimsley got enough shine. He took his oath to heart and even in a life of servitude he got to live each moment to its fullest. I felt he deserved more of a happy ending.
I always thought Charlotte wore the same style of dress despite fashion moving on to the empire waist of the Regency Era was so George could recognize her as well.
It’s really hard for me to cry but at the ending, it came easy for me because I was waiting for them to meet again at old age. I hate when I cry because this one is going to be hard to forget. ❤
It is actually Queen Victoria’s (Charlottes Granddaughter) German Husband, Albert, who popularized the Christmas Tree in England (it’s originally a German Tradition) but Queen Charlotte defiantly encouraged the tradition to the English people 🥰
I made the mistake of binge watching this show and watching Guardians of the Galaxy 3 in one weekend. To say I was a sobbing mess from Friday to Saturday is an understatement.
First all most people know Queen Victoria was the one who POPULARIZED Christmas trees to the British royal court due to her husband being German and Yule trees were a German then, Charlotte the German Princess had out the first on up in the palace
Queen Charlotte brought over the German tradition of Christmas trees to England (though they were Yule trees). She was the one who introduced the tradition, which King George III came to adore. However, their granddaughter, Queen Victoria’s husband Prince Albert, was the one who popularized the tradition. Queen Charlotte was still the one who introduced it.
That Shonda has a gift !! I binged the entire season 1take. 0 bathroom breaks!! And I am convinced Young Charolette is latter Charolettes daughter in real time ! They are one in the same
🫶🏾❣️ definitely continue crying. I absolutely loved this series and I am hoping and praying that they keep it going. Queen Charlotte 👸🏽 ❤🙌🏾 #bridgerton #queencharlotte
Yes that’s true! Prince Albert popularized the German tradition, but Queen Charlotte was the one who introduced the tradition to England (originally with Yule trees) in the first place. Both Prince Albert and Queen Charlotte were German, and Prince Albert was the husband of Queen Charlotte’s granddaughter, Queen Victoria.
There's only 2 seasons of Bridgerton. Queen Charlotte is a spinoff. I would go season 1, season 2, the queen Charlotte. But you could also go Queen Charlotte 1st then season 1 and 2. Enjoy!
but historically they forced their kids to live with them so long. it was actually insane, its really well known, do americans not even do any research?
You don't understand how hard this show made me cry. I love this series in an unhealthy amount of ways.

I think I love the spin off more than Bridgerton since they genuinely seem like a healthy couple unlike everyone else in Bridgerton

The part when they were older under that bed,and they can see their younger selves 😢 George always have loved her and he remained loving her! ❤
the stars to ground George got me DAMN IT! 🥺😭😭😭🥲❤️❤️🕊🤍🤍
This entire show is Shonda's team's best work istg
I think it’s good directing but definitely more than the actors and book it’s based off are so well done
The last episode had me ballling my eyes out! 😩

Makes sense, especially since her heart has stayed in the past. I also think it’s to show the difference between the younger and older generations.
@@auntilizzma93 totally agree, especially after the comments Brimsley made about her being stuck in the past in general.
In her last years she did change to the empire waist b4 she died.😢
this, too.
I don’t know if this is an Easter egg or not but in a lot of the wigs as older queen charlotte there is some sort of heart incorporated

Queen of hearts ❤️
The last scene under the bed had me 😭😭❤❤

Those wigs were PHENOMENAL!!
Crying. Don't tell me about crying. This was the most I've ever cried in Bridgerton. So many emotions touched on. Crazy. 💙💙💙💙💙
The show was amazing and l had my doubts. The actors/characters great. Under the bed each time was beautiful.
“So we could all continue crying”😂😂😂😢😢😢 yep
I haven’t watched this spin off in a week and I STILL cry. I have never loved a spin-off so much 🥹🥹🥹🥹
Not a spin off, a prequel. :)
❤❤❤❤
Please don't watch if you are not ready for the feels. I don't think I have watched anything fictional lately that made me feel the way this one did.
Wow, NICK COLLINS and his team DESERVES HIS FLOWERS 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 These are the most amazing wigs I've ever seen.
This show rivals the notebook. ❤😭
I can't watch this show again. It is just heart renching and i have a fragile heart.
And cry I did. Going to binge rewatch this weekend.
Thia is the best love story I have ever watched. I watched it like four times already can’t get enough.❤❤
Marc was such a spectacular man through and through. Miss him a great deal.

Thanks for sharing these little tidbits with us. I wonder how heavy these wigs are for the actress?
