OK, this may be the biggest transformation I've seen here. You took 20 years off her and the energy that was beaming out of her afterward! The haircut is amazing on her (not what I was expecting, but what SHE wanted). The clothes fit her lifestyle and vibe, and her eyes suddenly popped! Amazing. Also, I'm happy to see this format again. I agree w/you. I will be 70 next March and I only have a streak of gray right in the front...which I’m grateful for. But I wish I had more! I think gray hair is so beautiful! This lady’s hair turned out very nice.
Totally agree...stopped coloring my hair three years ago...so liberating! Also cut it short and I get so many compliments about my hair...never got that when it was longer and brunette.
I'm 64 now with long hair that is streaking itself with white. I love long hair and regret cutting mine a number of years ago. I refuse to color my hair or perm it and it's still thick, soft and shiny! I look forward to when my hair is completely white and long! It will be stunning!

But I have been afraid that I would hate it! I now want to RUN to a good salon in the morning and make that change! Thank You for showing me your beauty and bravery ❤

Just wonderful. She looks amazing and I am so happy for her. You and your team change people's lives....completely. I don't know if you realise just how much. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You are never “too old” to wear your hair as long as you want or however you want. See I have this thing where IDGAF how others think I should dress or wear my hair…. I do what I do and that’s that.
All these people with an opinion about a woman’s hair - give it a rest. She looks fantastic in that cut with her natural color! Thick hair is a pain to deal with when it’s long. Her clothing too - those new styles are so flattering. Nice to see her happy at the end.
No one is ever 'too old' to wear long hair down, and she would have looked as amazing in the after shot with the same clothes, makeup, and straightened trimmed hair with lift at the roots. Enough of this 'women are too old to do this now' rubbish, it weaves ageism into the mindsets of many and strengthens it. This isn't to detract from the work you have done here by the way, it is ace. I just feel it is time to flip the script regarding aging and people's perception of it. Are you in your 40's, 50's 60's and beyond and want to wear your long hair down? Go for it, and you will look mighty fine too.
Her hair was so beautiful. There was no need to cut it off. I hate the stigma of cutting your hair short because your 50 mine long and always will be. She does look beautiful, very lifted, and the icy colors are perfect for her. The long hair also could have been beautiful if it had been styled. Doesn't matter. She wants it short.
You are never too old for long hair. You can have long hair if you want it. if you want short hair, you can cut it. no big deal. to each their own. It looks cute on her short.
What a wonderful makeover! She was beautiful and I loved her hair, but the hassle, and her feelings, I understand. She was like the ghost of herself. And then! How she shines! The haircut is amazing! The clothes too, perfect balance and dynamic lines. This had me in tears. My 6 years old son found her really nice with her new look and enjoyed her ' oh my God ' exclamations 😊
@@mjob1955That's about as good as you can expect from husbands😁 Different is hard for them. I'm about your age and when I do my makeup and hair, and wear one of my cuter outfits, I do catch hubby looking at me more with a little smile. Of course, I usually just do that if we are going out to eat, so we have less distractions than when at home. 🤷
Her hair cut is awesome, she looks fantastic. I hope it’s not too much maintenance…short hair can be. I know for me when I had similar cut it was more work than when my hair was longer…daily styling and frequent hair cuts.
Absolutely amazing! Long and gray hair does age a woman - pulls the face down. And a bit of foundation, mascara and lipstick goes a a long way on an older woman.
I'll never part with my long hair because I love it and it makes me happy. Her's didn't make her happy anymore so it had to go. Age or what other people think have nothing to do with it.
Wow, what a great transformation - I am always surprised at the amazing results you achieve and look back at the original photos because they look so different. What a wonderful makeover!! I’m 6& and a few years ago I decided to let my gray hair grow too. But I don’t know what to do with it. So I’m going back to a bob. I hope I look half as good as this lady. This makeover team always out does themselves each video. You all are better than fantastic!
You don’t have to cut all your hair off. Just layer front & sides. I love my long hair. I have front tapered and I can still wear it up, braid it and have tapered around the front. She also looks good with makeup to enhance her eyes.
You look INCREDIBLLY BEAUTIFULL!! Oh man what a transformation!! You did such a unbelievable job on her. Thank you for all you do for us older women. WOW! One of the best transformations. Good for her.
If you want long hair and can deal with it at 80, it's totally your deal and nobody else's. I could never figure out why it's anyone's business to tell others what they should be doing with their life or appearance.
They make money by telling us what to wear, hair, makeup etc. Most of us here are of a certain age. We grew up being free to be us. Don’t let them ruin it.
Do not cut your hair just because "the world" says you have to look a certain way. Do it only because it is what YOU want. The world has no right to say whether you are beautiful or not. Only you have that right.
She looked thrilled with the results and that's all that matters. Screw the critics. I got a much needed makeover once (hair and makeup only) and it did wonders for me when I needed it the most at that time in my life.
True, you change only when you are ready. But, try not to be stuck in your ways. One of the hallmarks of youthfulness is being flexible and trying new things. Otherwise, how do you learn about yourself. The lady in this video looked just fine with her long hair, but she clearly wasn’t happy with her looks - and didn’t really know why. Her new look is AMAZING. If you don’t open yourself up for change, you’ll keep getting what you’ve always gotten! 😂 I love me a good makeover…
No, she cut her hair because she felt ugly, cmon already people getting offended so quickly. Old people with long loose hair look scruffy, as she did at the beginning, that's the norm, period.
I am 72 and and my hair is to the bend of my leg. I would never consider cutting my hair. Can't imagine how or why. Thru the years I've learned how to keep my hair up and neat. And who in this world says a person is too old for long hair? Who?Not God. That is all that matters to me. It's my glory.
I agree - no one is ever too old for long hair! My mum is 74 and has long white hair, which is so beautiful! But what's important is, that you feel happy about yourself and your hair. The lady in the video needed the transformation to feel beautiful, so for her that was the right dicision.
I have hair to my waist. I'm 34 (but I enjoy this channel) and people have already started telling me that I'm getting "too old" to have long hair, and when I'm 40, it's time to cut it. There is no such thing as too old. It doesn't matter if a person is 100. I hate that age restrictions are put on personal style and preference for women. A woman's unique sense of style is what contributes to her beauty.
I'm 60, my hair is also long, and I could care less what ppl think! I think it's harder to maintain a hairstyle. I do use color on my hair because I like to.
I have thigh length hair and only use a small dime size drop of gentle shampoo, I massage it into the roots and let it run down the length as I rinse. I do the opposite with conditioner, start at the ends. Do you use other products that you need to wash out?
This channel just keeps getting better. The place to go to get your groove back. Thank you for helping these women see what we can see. Now we can see Mary, and Mary, you are stunning! ♥️
Styling long hair at any age is a chore. I used to have long hair down to my waist, and it was like having a second job! A lot of women I know spend two hours on their hair every day.
This lady was blessed with such a thick head of hair and Makeover Guy worked his magic on it. Really made her facial features pop, especially those beautiful eyes.
She is absolutely striking!! Great job team!!

What a transformation! She looks & feels so much better! Christopher is a genius! 💖
❤❤
Thank you
What a wonderful makeover!
I loved h3er long hair very much too. Sad that it was cut, athough I understand shat she was angry about the hassle ...
I totally agree!
Thank you, Mary
She’s stunning! Mary is lucky that her hair is still thick and full, so it really holds that style well.
Thank you for your comment. Yes, my hair is super thick
@@mjob1955, the new cut looks marvelous on you! So what was your husband’s reaction?
@ItsJustLisa my husband said "I can see you like it"
@@mjob1955, sounds like he was covering his butt! Husbands can be so silly.
She's absolutely stunning!
She honestly looks 15 years younger. You go girl
Thank you, Mary
She is an angelic transformation! Great makeover Christopher, JoAnn and crew! ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you Mary
WOW! WOW! WOWEE! She sparkles now! ❤️
Mary..you have received a gift only this guy and his team can give to a privileged few...you are drop dead gorgeous...enjoy the new you!!
Her hair cut is awesome, she looks fantastic. I hope it’s not too much maintenance…short hair can be. I know for me when I had similar cut it was more work than when my hair was longer…daily styling and frequent hair cuts.
FABULOUS. You and your team are beauty geniuses. Thank you so much for the care and inspiration! She is so pretty!
❤
I love that her hair is still grey and she is a knock out.
She looks amazing and you can tell how good she feels about herself!
WOW!!! What a great new look!! She is gorgeous!
Thank you so much, Mary
Absolutely amazing! Long and gray hair does age a woman - pulls the face down. And a bit of foundation, mascara and lipstick goes a a long way on an older woman.
I'll never part with my long hair because I love it and it makes me happy. Her's didn't make her happy anymore so it had to go. Age or what other people think have nothing to do with it.
Thank you!
She’s absolutely beautiful, the short messy look looks great on her, keep it up Mary, you look lovely.
Wow, what a great transformation - I am always surprised at the amazing results you achieve and look back at the original photos because they look so different. She easily looks mid-forties now., and it’s wonderful to see how happy she is and how much her self-worth has improved. Go Girl ❤. Also loved the new outfit. If only you were nearer Christopher... Love from England
Thank you for watching, Barb! Happy you enjoy and comment.
@@joannhopkins8362 Thank you Joann, how lovely to hear from you. You are an inspiration and so talented and skilled in the work you do. Your depth of knowledge and the way you share it with your clients is an integral part of the whole process. I used to love watching your live shows with Christopher. Best wishes, Barbara
@@barbs5607 Thank you so much.
Thank you so much!
Thank you, it was unbelievable. Mary
What a wonderful makeover!! I’m 6& and a few years ago I decided to let my gray hair grow too. But I don’t know what to do with it. So I’m going back to a bob. I hope I look half as good as this lady. This makeover team always out does themselves each video. You all are better than fantastic!
Thank you so much
You don’t have to cut all your hair off.
That is one hell of a makeover! Congratulations! 👍😍
You are never to old wear you're hair any way you like. Do what makes you happy!
Thank you, I did and love it. Mary
Incredible uplifting makeover. Beautiful!
I hope she sees these comments... You look far younger, as well as beautiful and sophisticated. Congratulations on being brave!!!
Thank you! It is definitely what I wanted and needed.
She looked thrilled with the results and that's all that matters. Screw the critics. I got a much needed makeover once (hair and makeup only) and it did wonders for me when I needed it the most at that time in my life.
@samsmom1491 thank you
True, you change only when you are ready.
My hair is to my waist and has been since childhood. Long is easy, plus I don't like the idea of layers. The downside may be using lots of shampoo.
I have thigh length hair and only use a small dime size drop of gentle shampoo, I massage it into the roots and let it run down the length as I rinse. I do the opposite with conditioner, start at the ends. Do you use other products that you need to wash out?
Words escape me. She looks absolutely gorgeous. Love, love love
She looks amazing ❤ she has such beautiful eyes that were hiding under all that hair .
You look beautiful. Good decision to have your hair professionally done. Great makeover.❤
Truly amazing transformation!
This channel just keeps getting better. The place to go to get your groove back. Thank you for helping these women see what we can see. Now we can see Mary, and Mary, you are stunning! ♥️
🥰💖💖
All I can say is that you did it again. An amazing transformation from ugly, her words, to a sexy, vibrant, youthful, striking woman.
There's a difference between long hair and unstyled hair - and styling long, grey hair can be a chore
Styling long hair at any age is a chore. I used to have long hair down to my waist, and it was like having a second job! A lot of women I know spend two hours on their hair every day.
Holy shit, I mean holy shit. Woman you are gorgeous. Good for you.
This lady was blessed with such a thick head of hair and Makeover Guy worked his magic on it. Really made her facial features pop, especially those beautiful eyes.
One of the best makeovers I’ve ever seen! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🔥🔥❤️❤️
An older woman will never be too old for long hair. I'm 76 and love mine, it is so versatile, I can wear it up or down.
Until it thins out so much you see scalp everywhere and it doesn't grow long.
Me too at 80. Started during lockdowns and only had trims. Wish i had more skills but i swim most days of week and braid or high bun works great.
She looks amazing
Absolutely fabulous! The colour, cut and style of her hair just exudes class. She looks sensational ❤
