    OMG! MY MOTHER WILL LOVE YOU FOR ADMITTING TO USING MAYONNAISE! SHE USED TO MAKE IT FROM SCRATCH AND USE IT ON MY SIBLINGS AND MY HAIR. She used to say, "Hair length has to do with what one consumes. If one eats healthy, drinks lots of water, massages the scalp, and exercises, the hair follicles, and hair strands will be healthy and strong, thus, the hair will grow long without breaking." However, what one puts on one's hair is contingent upon the texture of one's hair and whether or not the scalp can take it. I make my own hair and skin products because I cannot use grease. I wash my hair every two to three days in the week, do oil and scalp treatments two days a week, and let the shower run on it with conditioner the other remaining days. I have to wet my hair every day because my hair is much more manageable wet. I do take a multivitamin just because I have all of my life and I will never stop.

    Not all the alcohols are bad for your hair. There are fatty alcohols which is good for your hair such as cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, cetearyl alcohol, lauryl. The ones to avoid are isopropyl, alcohol denat. Sd alcohol etc. Those ones dry the heck out your hair.
    Thanks for sharing your hair routine with us 😊

Do this everyday and you WILL reach your 4-6 inches per year...barring use of medication, etc. to the contrary. Wishing you great health and lovely healthy hair!

    Everyone’s hair and scalp is different, so saying stay away from sulfates is not correct. I had major scalp buildup from co washing and using sulfate free shampoos. Now my hair is in a much healthier state since using a sulfate shampoo on a weekly basis. Some people can get away without using sulfates and some people can’t.

    • @NovaDivine999
      @NovaDivine999 6 лет назад +4

      Sulfates are not necessary to remove build up. I mean if ppl like them that's their business, just pointing out that buildup can be removed without them and she mentioned a way to do so in the video💁

    • @SL-fu7sh
      @SL-fu7sh 5 лет назад +1

      You clearly are the exception but in general most black hair should not use sulphates just like she said. Saying she’s incorrect is not true. She is speaking in general and what works for her. These are her tips. She constantly says everyone’s hair is different so why make it about you. But thank you for sharing anyway.

I don't was all the time either. I drink water. take vitamins sometimes and I do cut my ends a little every month not to much just a little so I want experience breakage. thanks for your comments on how you keep your hair growing. now I am excited!

      Downtown on 7th Avenue Handbag Adventures
      it is really good! I stumbled upon it by accident because the beauty store did not have my regular product in stock. But I have to tell you we always used the castor oil growing up, just not the other ingredients combined. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

    How long does it take for your hair to be relaxer free

  • @RA-wp6th

    Usually with conditioner the instructions say that after washing your hair, you should leave it in your hair for 2-3 mins, then wash it out. Do you include this step when you're co-washing?
    Or do you just co wash and put leave in conditioner?

    • @TheTiaraMakia
      @TheTiaraMakia  6 лет назад

      Rach A I usually cowash with a rinse out conditioner and I use it just like I would shampoo!

      @@TheTiaraMakiasorry I probably didn't make much sense. After you co wash, do you condition your hair?

    • @TheTiaraMakia
      @TheTiaraMakia  6 лет назад

      Ohh I see I’m sorry I misunderstood. No I usually don’t condition after bc i usually leave the conditioner on for that same amount of time.

    I pretty much also want to try only getting my hair trimmed just twice a year (every 6 months). How much do you get trimmed off?

    • @TheTiaraMakia
      @TheTiaraMakia  7 лет назад +2

      Just however much is needed. For instance if it starts looking super thin towards the bottom for an inch then I'll get an inch trimmed off.

    • @pfair774
      @pfair774 7 лет назад

      TheTiaraMakia Oh ok I see! Yea I was thinking just a half inch per visit but maybe I can probably take an inch at the most of to get them more evened if needed. Thanks! I always get stylists trying to take off more but I don't think it's necessary lol

    I have MAJOR shrinkage so to spray my hair with water daily to moisturize it....I don’t know. I do this once a week and then a diffuse dry while holding sections extended to create length. I don’t accept my shrinkage. But I want growth. Any suggestions?

    Hello, I really enjoyed your video. I would like to ask you a question. I've stopped relaxing my hair for over 2-3 months. Do this mean that I have gone natural? I haven't put any chemicals in my hair. All I do is wash ,dry. flat iron. It. My hair is already long, but I want it longer I've been doing coconut oil& jamican black castor oil. Is there anything else I should do for my hair. But am I natural now

      Hey love! It varied depending on the style. I would usually just sleep on a satin pillow case or if i had a flatter style i would tie it up in a satin scarf!
