- Here's a quick demo of the @sbysolar AB4.7C I got sent a few days ago 🎸
You can tell this guitar was designed by people who know where you can and can't cut costs: neck joint is near perfect, great balance with no neck-dive, light and ok-tier pickups.
Minus the scratchy frets, mine was more or less ready to go straight out of the box.
I'm a little envious of those of you who get to start your musical journey on these!

Not fair. You can make any instrument sound amazing 😆Glad to see you showcasing S by Solar! I'm definitely considering getting one for myself.
Haha that's kind of you, thank you 🙂🙏 to be fair, just about any guitar will play decent with a proper setup and sound good with decent electronics! You won't be disappointed, they're good budget guitars (and I'm not paid to say that)
Geez Raoul, these guitars are sitting so cleanly in the mix. 🔥👏🦖
Thanks Eric! 😁🙏 slowly getting mic choice and placement dialed in!
great tone! and gorgeous design
Thanks, it's amazing how they manage to make such a solid guitar for so little money!
Ssuper well done m dude, love to see the harping. Such an underated techinque
Thankss man 😆🙏 it's how I learned how to play harmonics from watching Steve Morse videos
u planning on release solo projects? can't get enough of your demos on this channel, love every single one
Yes! Thank you so much 🙂🙏
that was the best outro to anything i've ever heard 🤣 cantina song!
Hehe Cantina's always the best option to fill a blank 👽🎺🎶
"Play it again, play it again!"
Haha 🌸
I love your attitude, I must ask though, is it for the video or because of the music, or you just that generally happy all the time 😂 its an infectious vibe and I'm here for it 🎉
Thank you 🙂🙏🌸 generally happy (to the point where it bugs some people, but that's just who I am) and I love music. I feel both grateful and like a kid in a playground every time I pick up an instrument!
I was curious about every element of S by Solar, including the guitar-only sound at the end, which was very nice.
I can't be so bold with my money as to pay for a mysterious 7-string like some retail sites, but I thought it looked like a good sub or a guitar that is easy to play or customize!
It's a good guitar with decent factory setup. They managed to cut costs everywhere except on the important things (flawless neck joint, great balance, resonant), I still had to do some work to get it to play like my other guitars but I'm so happy for anyone who gets to start their journey on an instrument like this! My first guitar was very bad compared to this.
Ca me fait l'effet de "Bonjour, je m'appelle Raoul et j'aime mettre des grosses baffes dans la gueule de mon audience. Cordialement."
Le feu, comme toujours 🔥🔥🔥
Haha merci beaucoup Aurélien 🤣🙏
Do you have any albums coming? Because I just love every song/demo you put out haha. And another question: What did you do in terms of drum processing for this one? And like instrument/master bus.
Working on one! I went for a very minimalistic approach on drums using the Waves magma channel strip (only high/low shelf and a parametric mid band), an 1176 comp as a parallel comp and some saturation on the drum bus using Waves NLS. Did mostly agressive high-shelves on all channels while cutting some mids according to the type of instrument. Bass is Grovebass into Parallax. I don't post-process guitars. Finally, master comp, EQ (tiny shelves), saturation (Saturn 2) and clipper/limiter.

Haha 🕺🌹
sounds like a hades soundtrack
Love the game, played it non-stop for a few days!
Does it sounds good on Drop G?
I never tune that low but pretty sure it'd sound good with an overdrive: pickups are very articulate but have a huge bottom end that needs some taming if you want a tight distorted sound.
Thanks so much for the response 🤘🎸
But can you play wonderwall?
