@@ToroKchannelIt's a great time to be a guitar player! Did the R446 arrive yet? Do you still have the Jim Root copy? Do you think that would work for a comparison?
If you had to pick one out of Ibanez rga42 and a S by solar which one would you choose? Which one is easier to play? Thanks for the great and comprehensive review 😊
Thanks for your appreciation ! The neck on the Ibanez RGA 42 is a bit thinner but the access to the upper frets is a bit better on the Solar. I'm really talking about minor differences, and both are very good players. The Ibanez is shielded, it comes with better tuners and a graphite nut, but the Solar pickups are really very good, much better than the Ibanez Quantum IMO.
Locking tunners are not for staying in tune work on the nut ...but only if the instrument has been cut and assembled with correct and known stable measurements....or it will never be more than a turd
I have noticed that locking tuners help the strings find their stability faster after you’ve changee them. I think the measurments are correct, if not I would have a problem with intonation.
@@ToroKchannel that's cool they definitely make string changes faster.....Im little dissapointed Ola made a cheep version. Like that's what the world needs more of....
@@metalfather8139 well, Ola has also made limited runs of 4000€ solar guitars made by a european luthier. I'm pretty sure he will do it again cos they were sold out in no time. I think he aims at offering Solar guitars at all prices and that's a pretty ambitious goal.
I closed my eyes and couldn't tell when you switched guitars during the neck pickup lead. Nice
Thanks !
Looks like Solar did a great job. and VERY competitively priced!
I’m really happy with this axe, I had no idea it would be that good.

Merci beaucoup 😊
Difference is in the price but not in the tone.I have Solar and for the money I payed I could have 4 Solar S.Fuck...
Not the exact same tone but pretty close indeed.
