watched your lift live (on YT), and I'm pretty sure that your dinnie stone lift will/should be considered the overall most impressive lift of 2022 :)
Totally agree 👊
Yes, but also best lift ever
I'll second that
I shared your video of lifting the dinnie stones on my whatsapp status and people were like "wtf, how is this humanely possible?!" You are a superhero.
Yeah, amazing lift at the Arnolds. I sent a link to all my friends and family and they loved it and many of them don't watch strongman / strongwoman at all. One of the most impressive feats of strength I have ever seen!
The Dinnie thing is up there with the 500kg lift in my opinion! Made a grown man cry with joy did that lift!!
I hear ya.
Eddie's 500kg deadlift was only 2.6 times his body weight. This was over 5 times Chloe's body weight. He used straps and a suit, she did it completely raw. Chloe's lift was way more impressive in my opinion.
@@LazyTurtul, you shouldn’t be comparing a squat with a grip element to a deadlift. Two very different lifts, two very different athletes. You can respect both without having to compare them.
@@gotzvonunentberlichingen1452 what are you talking about? Chloe's lift of the Dinnie stones was basically a Jefferson Deadlift. Much more similar to a deadlift than a squat, although there is not a huge difference between deadlifts and squats.
@@LazyTurtul Thanks for picking the bones out of my compliment!! Way to go.
Thank you for this. Your lift turned me to stone lifting as well as powerlifting and this is now my ultimate aim by the time im 40 (3 years)
Love you guys grip wall.
I just received my Dinnie rings and loading pins from Gordon Ingrim.
There so beautiful , pictures don't do them justise.
I've begun my training and your channels will be of great help, I'm sure.
Your a great inspiration
I saw you at the Arnold , lift the dinnie stones live. it was amazing
Your so strong.
And your so small , doesn't seem possible, just amazing
Discovered you through that amazing feat of strenght posted by Uncle Loz... Loved it! So inspiring! Thanks a lot.
Your lift was so impressive. Way to go!
From now on I’m going to watch all your videos I was in shock with that record you just did. Rough power!
I watched your lift live on RUclips. One of the most fun things I've ever seen!
That was an epic lift at the Arnold's Chloe.
Very interesting video guys 💪🏻
Absolutely insane feat of strength Chloe. I hope to be close to strength to you one day. You're an inspiration!
YOU ARE AN ABSOLUTE LEGEND!!!!!!
That’s an AMAZING lift!!!!!
Amazing lift. Just watched it
💪🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for the info, I’ll be making my attempt in July.
Good luck to you.
This is bloomin helpful guys. Excellent video.
Brilliant pointers. Glad you gave a shout out to Mark Haydock, he also makes fantastic grip tools!
Mark is a dinnie legend! Incredible athlete and great guy!
Congratulations Chloe so impressive!
This was a great demo and explanation. Thx
Very useful! Thanks!
Amazing lift and great tutorial on how to do it.
great vid, thanks for sharing. as always technique is everything .....power is nothing without control. just got a set of the handles myself , cant wait to try for real.
Thank You for making this
I'm here for that expression shortly after the lift. Awesome
I’m hoping to try them in a few weeks so planning on using this info! Thanks!
Best of luck!
I love stones! Awesome video
Thought about making my own version of the Nicol stones, but call em Nichols stones... because that's my name. Here in Ohio.
Chloe thank you for inspiring people worldwide. Strongman isn’t just for the super heavyweight class of people !
I have Dinnie trainers from Gordon Ingram and I have a question. Do you know the distance between the handles when the stones are placed against each other in the optimal position you showed ?
I’m thinking of casting some dedicated plates to put on these trainers and I want to know what diameter I should make them to be as close to the real stone lift as possible. Looking at pictures it appears they sit further than 12” but less than 18” apart
Knowing the distance from the center of ring to outside edge of each stone would be awesome
Thanks again for inspiring all of us and thanks for this video. It’s the best on RUclips for technique
I want to get better at the rolling thunder can you please do a video on that movement
Awesome - well done!
Great video guys! 😎👍❤
Well done!
I enjoyed that guys, very informative. I’m actually training for the dinnies right now and was using Marks insta for reference. Good job 👍🏻
BRAVO !!
Great video both. Do you train both left and right hand forward equally? What are your favourite accessory lifts?
We both only train right hand forward
Our favourite accessories are in our ebook available at www.chloebrennanstrongwoman.com
But anything working grip and core stability and strength are winners
Squats too!
@@ChloeBrennanStrongwoman Thanks for your reply! Awesome that you have an ebook. Posters are kick ass too!
Amazing!!! You can blame uncle Loz for your channel blowing up! 😁👍
How often do You train with the "stones" specifically?
In regards to training. Do you do sets and reps of lifts or is it a matter of just practicing lifting it
Will Chloe get to sign the book in Scotland?
i am competing at my 2nd strongman event in a few months and i want to make my own dinnie handles. what is the diameter of the rings?
Hi Chloe, I checked out your dinnie stone lift on big loz's channel just a few minutes before seeing this video. Just wanted to say it was an amazing lift! Have you ever thought about doing diet or training videos? I see a lot of the larger strongmen post about these huge 8 thousand+ calorie diets, but I've never seen content like that from some of the smaller competitors like yourself, I'd be curious as to what a lighter weight routine would look like, and being a naturally smaller man, it would be a huge help!
Hey- there's a few videos from my prep which have bits like that on already, so check out the channel!
@@ChloeBrennanStrongwoman ok, thanks for the info! im starting to see some of that stuff as i dig a bit deeper into the channel, will definitely check it out!
What is the official height of the rings in the stones. At what height does the lift begin
Newly subbed 👍
How much do you squat Chloe?
Watched weightlifter Sarah Davies rep out 150 kg and was impressed 💯
I'm not sure of my max 😂🤷♀️ I squatted 129kg for 20 reps in the Arnold final last week 😁
@@ChloeBrennanStrongwoman - well, that qualifies you as pretty strong 💯 😘😀
You’re so cute❤️❤️ just became a fan💪👊
For the setup, are the weights supposed to be inequal?
Yes...the smaller stone/pin is typically around 77% of the larger
I saw those stones the real dinnie stones rip the hide off Eddie Hall's hands! It's on the History channel world strongest men. I was stunned when you did this! it was so completely out of the blue!
Can you provide the name of the person who does side by side? I didn't quite get it all. I will be at the Gathering this year and will lift the stones and I am side by side.
Have you tried bending steel rods and making pretzels outta them? Cuz that's what your amazing lift at the arnolds reminded me of: An incredible mind-muscle connection with exceptional levels of fiber recruitment. 700+ lbs is no joke idc what anyone says it's one in a billion genetics to be able to lift those unconventional stones.
The lift at the Arnolds was absolutely yaw dropping! VERY few can say they've lifted 5x their body weight.
you make it sound like it was a walk in the park 😅, it surly wasn't!
How tall are u
Okay, this further illustrates how impossible this feat is. Unbelievable!
I'll give them a go next year ! I've been training on them since end of last year and this video will be helpful !
