Just taken delivery from Aldi, UK for £49.99. Its a complete bargain. I have also discovered another configuration which isn't listed. When you get to setting 3, the work table, in Andrews video above, then release the locks to lift the safety bar. You end up with a supported table at an angle so useful for sketching ideas on paper, or even working at an angle for some reason. It also still has the slot for any tools or drawing instruments. Fantastic piece of kit.
@@borisgulliver4970 Thanks for the tip. I have just ordered another from Aldi, £29.99, for my son. Really pleased with the versatility of this and it is extremely sturdy.
Just bought this work bench today. The last demo model was on sale for €53. For that money you can barely get an entry level workmate. Ordered some Irwin quick-grip clamps. Looking forward to using it. Great video by the way, very acrobatic 😂👍
It's funny, I have no use for such a thing but I always have to watch your video's to the end because they are so well done and I know there will be a funny somewhere or 2. :)
I like your videos Andrew. I suppose this is an interesting product. I feel I could pick it apart but most of my points would be subjective. One criticism that wouldn't be subjective would be laying it on its side and trying to use those "feet" to support sheets of anything while cutting anything. The material would bow in the middle and bind on your saw - whether it's manual or a power tool. Frankly I think it might not even be as stable as you'd like if you put your plywood on it and tried to cut it off along the side because the material would possibly still bow when you're putting pressure on it to hold it in place. My guess is that it's an overpriced overachiever as a step ladder. It might be in the running for "Best Stepladder" award. I'll bet an overpriced UNDERachiever as a work table and virtually worthless for cutting stock. Orange and black looks cool though so I guess there's that.
Sounds like you have made a resonable assessment of this product. I sort of like it But it's a bit clumsy as a step ladder and somewhat heavy as a workbench. Thanks being said...I still like the idea of this product.
If you can get your hands on one, anyone can. I'm sure you mean to imply that we can't get them as conveniently as driving down to our local big-box store?
i think the Worx and Dewalt is better , this table does decent as a table but not excellent ...., no slide clamp places to hold down material and it looks a bit awkward to clamp anything on it...the plywood sheet cutting feature is only a gimmick to me seeing that and really the best feature is just the step stool. but i would not use it to do my projects over the Dewalt or the Worx .

Nice work!
Fantastic. Wish this was available when I was younger.
Don't feel bad...They consider 40's the new 30's....
Anybody know where the extra plastic studs go that are deliverd with them?
They go over the top hinge of the movable step. This way you can place it on it'a side.

Same question as before. Could you securely attach a small 25 lb miter saw like the Makita ls4000? Thanks
YEP - again - way overbuilt. In my opinion this is to heavy - go with the dewalt
@@KitearmyYea I think DeWalt it's gonna be da winner for me. Thanks
@@eddyeperalta9374 Or check out the worx pegauss - I have a video
I really like your gymnastics skills....

Right...this unit was mailed to me from overseas
Good advice
Glad it was helpful!
Bat ay via. The old dutch name for Indonesia and a famous shipwreck. It's hardwork listening to so many mispronunciations over and over....
Please forgive me - I guess that is why they don't sell them in the US - they know we are going to butcher the pronunciation of their name.

All true - but you have to remember that this is also a ladder
@@Kitearmy not a ladder it's a step stool like I mentioned, only that it does great.
good point!
I just bought mine at Aldi Online for 30 quid. £3 for delivery though 😪heavy item 🏴🇺🇸🏴
The big difference to the ones sold in the United Britain is that they are made from Alumin I um
