"This is not a step" is my favorite step.
This video is equivalent to a year’s worth of advertising for Little Giant. I’m not in the trade and I want to get one for the house. Great video. 👍
Agreed! I bought one of the multi-adjustable ones from Costco and I love it for general household stuff but it ain't light. I've been eyeing up one of the king kombo ones for a more handy ladder and this video has me sold.
Never in my entire time on RUclips would I even think I'd be watching a ladder review all because I'm interested in becoming an electrician. I'll definitely consider these in the near future!
well sorry to spoil your fun but your probably not going to bring your personal 6ft 8ft ladder to work everyday as a helper..
my 5 footer was so hard to find ... I had to get it on back order ... it was worth the wait.. I love it.
For anyone who thinks, just because you weigh 185 lbs. you don't need a 300+ rated ladder, you're no longer 185 lbs. as soon as you pick up that pail of bricks or AC unit or whatever else you're carrying up the ladder. You're now 285...
I never thought of this!!! Omg you’re 100% right
@@lextheelectrician not to mention the AC or that transformer is a dead load. We all know not to jump on a ladder but when you set that thing down real fast on the top rung cause you're tired that inertia is a lot of sudden weight for a second. A 100lb something can impart way more than 100lbs of force on something for a split second if it's getting set down hard enough.
If you’re scared just stay at home
@@Dezeberbroif you’re scared, buy proper equipment so you don’t get hurt.
@@Dezeberbro it's not about being scared it's about being smart. I'll trust a name brand ladder like Little Giant over some knock off any day and that's what you're paying for. I know for a fact they're tested to at least double their rating. You can cheap out sometimes like a big 2" wrench that I use twice a year from harbor freight, but a ladder? No way, I know a guy that's paralyzed from a faulty ladder, I won't let that happen to myself or anyone working with me no chance.
Those stepladders that turn into extension ladders are awesome! Super useful and great for getting in tight spots. That little four footer has really caught my attention!
same i kinda of want the combo 4 foot
Very nicely done. Informative and well spoken. Love watching your videos.
awesome video Lexi many thanks for the demonstrations will be getting one them have a safe rest of the week
Couldnt have came at a better time. Been looking at Little Giants for work this past week. Amazing timing!
We have 24ft and 28ft ladders with a v rung and strand clamp. The 28ft ladder is lighter the our 24ft Werner ladders. The weight savings is such a relief when having to put it up on multiple telephone poles, especially when having to carry it up hills and the back of peoples yards.good ladders, definitely recommend.
Never knew my heart could throb so much for a sparky! Impressive work you do lady! 🥰💘
Just so you know @400 min mark that orange ball on the side when that thing pops out when your driving etc. That ladder is nice paper weight. Unless you want to jam a screwdiver into every time you fold it.
Thats so funny, I was gonna say the same thing, luckily I was able to return mine.
I have the 5 foot king combo and the little two foot one with the platform. Had them about two years now. They’re great so far. I usually hang all my drills or nail guns on them around the top on the sides. Usually I’m carrying something in one hand and trying to move the 5 footer, loaded with drills with one foot and one hand and it’s not too heavy 😊
Just got the Little Giant Sure Step based on your review...exactly what I needed. Thanks :)
I was spoiled in my younger years working for an outfit that had lots of ladders to choose from. My particular favorites were the 3 legged 4 and 6 footers. I know a lot of places they aren't allowed but dang if you can't get them into some tight areas and they are great even on unlevel ground. I think the thing I miss about them most is the one handed opening and closing. There's several you showed that definitely got the details right. Nice collection and video. :)
omg wow
outstanding review
and the ladders are great too
Love your channel and reviews
Great video Lexi , now time for a new ladder. !😁
Great Video. Thank you for sharing. Those are nice ladders
I love little giant type of ladders! I weigh 380 and they're the only ones rated for my size. At 425 lbs. But they are metal which means no live current anywhere!
Picking mine up tomorrow!
I have one of the MightyLite M4 ladders. Great for painting. The platform is a game changer. I'm looking at getting the Model 8 soon also because of the platform. Standing on a typical step gets to me chins so the platform really helps.
3.30am. I’m watching a hot girl talking about ladders…. Save me.
I like those ladders u got and I always like the little Giant more then other ladders
cool ladders, thanks for the review
I had no idea that Little giant had such a well thought out and extensive ladder program. Definitely worth looking into.
Thanks for a Great review
So cool Lexi, thanks!
Such fire RUclips ⚡️⚡️ Lex keep up the incredible content
We used little giant epic ladders in construction. The one that extend A frame and turn into an extension ladder. I trust my life to one of them as they were incredible. We could have multiple guys on the same ladder to get the job done and it never felt like it was unstable or anything. I purchased the same ladder type but different brand for my personal use and don’t regret it at all.
Great video! Loved the overview of each one! I'm a big fan of Werner brand, but I will definitely be getting one of these 4fts if they hold my painting tools.
Werner made in USA. Little Giant, made in China.
Wishing I had the ones with the V-notch for leaning on angles. Would have made tree trimming SO much easier and safer.
Gorgeous, intelligent, and very articulate.
Great video! I'm replacing two old ladders with one of these!
Specialty ladders are the way to go. Our plumbers purchased two 7' fiberglass step ladders. A lot of drop ceilings were only 7 1/2' off floor so they could open ladder up without raising ceiling titles.
Nice cool design
Nice video. I have the 24 foot Sumostance Model #: 18824 It is amazing. I use the leveling outriggers all the time. I also have the Select Step Model #: 15109-001. This way I have a 6-10 foot step ladder that fits in my 8 foot truck bed. The air deck is great for holding tools and supply's.
My work truck has a little giant extension ladder with the sumo stance. It’s freaking mint. 👌🏾
I use a Little Giant Safety Step (i have the 3 step, they make 2-3-4 step) I swear by that thing. The treads are like stair steps not like ladder treads. It folds flat, has a tool tray/parts holder attached to the foldable hand rail that is very useful for projects and painting and can be folded out of the way if you just need it for a stable stair step. I mainly use it for getting in and out of my camper.
Awesome video!!
I’ve been full little giant for a couple years now. Love their stuff. Great video. Thanks!
Very cool to have the options. I'm 6"2", and alot of times with a 6' ladder the steps are to tall or too short when changing fans or lights. Keep up the longer videos!
Great video lady. You don't see Little Giant ads on tv so that tells you they have a ton of confidence in their products. They have come a long way since the original LG ladders of the past. I gotta feeling we will see Ms. Abreu at more trade shows talking on this product. Thanks again.
They had spots on QVC and they at one time ran infomercials. So they have been on TV.
@@stevebabiak6997 No more, now made in China for pennies.
Tool slots on top of ladders, nice! Just don’t forget to take everything down with you. Big pet peeve with technicians who refuse to work with pouches.
Be safe and always use the right side ladder for the job. Being on a ladder too short can cause you to loose your balance. A trip to the trauma center in a helicopter is not the way you want to leave a job site with your tools unsecured and van open for a few days while in the hospital.
Awesome video 👍🏻
Nice ladders
Great video. I've always wanted a little giant, but our HD doesn't carry them.
Home Depot unfortunately doesn’t have little giant, but Lowe’s does! And Little Giant’s website as well.
These ladders are awesome
Thoose ladders are all Brand spanking new, put some time on them and get back to us.
With exception of the original Kombo and extension, the prices aren't that bad, considering the features you're getting
Would spoke volumes to me is in that King combo who let down the extension with ease
Beautiful 😍
Started in 1970 using heavy always wet wood step & worse extra heavy 10 & 12' A ladders. When a step would break boss said to place it in front of one our tracter trailers and let them break every step. Boss it was a lot 4:34 cheaper to replace some ladders then having OSHA fine you for bad ladders.
I have to say if my company’s latter safety videos featured you as the instructor I would be at full attention!
If I had a ladder company give me 4 digits in free ladders I'd give um a great review too!! Good for you.
I refuse to post products that I don’t use on a daily basis so you know if I’m reviewing it I use it almost everyday!
Is it worth the money for your average DIY homeowners or is this overkill?
I would be interested in hearing your thoughts on your Ford Transit service van.
If it’s good for you that’s great but I’m working with Warner’s until I’m not doing electrical anymore.
Warner made in USA!!
awe man now i gonna need a larger ladder rack
You can answer a question for me. What exactly does that thing that you step on, when you use the first step do?
Lets you know you're on the last step on the way down, so you don't step down hard trying to step through the floor. Also helps prevent you stepping off too soon, thinking that you reached the last step.
@@dbxdevilThat's a great feature if you wear bi-focals!😵💫🥸🤓
I have the original little giant. Great for stairs.
The original was Made in USA and a much superior product.
~ I have the 5 footer and love it ~ lots of people have to leave the trades Prematurely with Bad knees from standing on ladders all the time. the 5 footer has a platform .. not a step at just the right height ..for comfortable access to many things..
What a hook up.
"It's rated for that" 😆 Don't start OSHA. Great ReEEee-view.👀 May consider getting one! I betcha a pipefitter/plumber might use the bucket securing feature.🤔👨🔧
My question does sun cause the fiber come out and eat your skin up like insulation?
Part of our testing is UV testing, and we simulate our fiberglass rails in that environment. We do provide a warranty on fiberglass ladders for a year, but proper care of fiberglass ladders will let you use it for many years. The kind of damage you're talking about is usually from people who leave their ladders out on a truck, exposed to the elements, from rain, snow, sun, and that will start causing fiber bloom. I personally have a fiberglass ladder at my house and it has zero signs of any sort of wear, and I've owned it for 5 years.
As an electrician you should only use wooden ladders.Wood conducts very poorly or not at all, while metal does.
Having a bad ladder day can really be a downer so you always need at least a couple on the van
What’s a ground cue ?
We have had the 8ft king kombo on the roof of our van for almost 2 years now. NOT holding up well in the sun. The fiberglass lamination is staring to come apart.
Just wondering how much does each one actually weigh?
Awesome.. lol ⚡
WOW! Looked at Little giant many times and NEVER seen and Little giant for any of those low prices! Ususally I see the prices at or more than X2 more than that at every box store! Reason why I wont waste my time or money on over priced> But thanks for the information.
Much cheaper now that they are made by Suzhou Zhongchuang Aluminium Products Co. Ltd. and Suzhou PICA Aluminum Industry Ltd., in China
4:35 that leads to my next question. You ever been zapped before?
Are you union electrician?
Esa pequeña me brega para cambiar las bombillas de la casa. Excelente video! Keep it up, un abrazo desde Isabela!!!
What's that cue step for?
Notifies you of the last step!
There have been a couple of times when I was climbing down from a ladder, tired from being in an awkward position or whatever, and fell, thinking the second to last rung was the bottom one, or thinking I had one more to go and then losing balance when I hit the ground. Cue step feature could literally save a life, or at least minimize injury chances.
The only product I have ever gotten from little giant that I hated was the dark horse 1.0 in fiberglass, my company ordered them for every van. This had to have been someone who has never worked in the field because that ladder weighs a ton and anyone who has worked in the field would have immediately been like nope I'm not dragging that ladder across a store, it is heavier than my 32' extension ladder functionally it works great as long as I don't throw my back out trying to get it back on top of my van. It is bad enough that they started replacing them because guys where doing dumb shit and getting hurt to avoid getting the ladder because its so hard to load and unload it from a roof rack. The newer ones are a lot better (still heavy but better) and the aluminum ones are great. These look great and I have the aluminum one she just showed its great, 375lb weight cap, light as a feather, and solid as a rock with my 200lb ass on it.
OBSERVATION my orange 15 ft little giant and accessories was purchased years ago, but it is so heavy. Its versatility is great but the weight makes me use my aluminium more
The price is absolutely insane for ladders. They may be good but the price is shocking
I gave a little giant to my nephew for a wedding gift he loved it🎉😊
Bet his wife didn’t ;)
@@stevebabiak6997 it took awhile but she finally realized it was pretty handy, it was one of the original larger ladders
@@stevebabiak6997 p.s. he took it in the divorce
@@bruceg5729 - I have one of the 22ft model little giant ladders, it’s quite an effort to manipulate it for certain positions. I treated myself to a telescoping ladder one day when it was the online special buy of the day from Home Depot - it doesn’t get the same height as the little giant but it can be used for most things inside my house (two story ceilings in a few spaces).
You can be a model if you want to be
I genuinely 💚 yu

That's a lot of ladders lol
Well, I started out looking for a review on a Little Giant ladder. After becoming a bit mesmerized, I subscribed and watched a bunch of videos of this brilliant woman doing fantastic, professional electrical work.
🇺🇸👍🙂
4:37 O believe me, you are…..
I’m gonna kick it

Amazon requires you to identify affiliate links as such.
While I'm not sure about the legal requirements, good practice and trustworthiness requires you to call out when a manufacturer has provided products for review for free. And doubly so if it is a sponsored (paid) review. I don't know exactly what is going on here but it seems implied by the way the pallet is talked about that they were given. Maybe they were purchased but it does not seem that way and the ambiguity is sketchy.
I have a question… umm I’ll ask you ladder😉🤙🏼
It's a ladder

"Non-conductive fiberglass..." EVERYTHING is eventually conductive if you shoot enough current through it. LOL.
You should start an Ohmsly Fans…. Ok that was stupid I’ll go ground myself… ok ok I’m done. Love your content! 🙏🏻
