    I just used my new little giant epic 22'. The main reason for purchase is the safety handrails. I cannot exclaim enough how much they help with roof egress (transferring from roof to ladder & ladder to roof). It makes a shaky middle age man look like a champ, LOL. This is my 4th little giant ladder, (still have all) and did not disappoint. I have not used the ratchet levelers yet but imagine they will help when needed.
    The ladder is heavy for some, I feel it is a reasonable trade off for safety, which is priceless. The ladder is pricey as well but innovation, features and workmanship are top notch. Shout out to Little Giant, put out more demo videos on your safety rail system, I was apprehensive before buying and was not sure if it would help all that much. I'm a believer.

      Thank you for your support and review! Sounds like you've been part of the Little Giant family for a while!! Having transferred to roofs before on a regular extension ladder, it sure makes a WORLD of difference when you can simply walk through to get on or off. No more of that shaky and awkward climbing around the side.
      Thanks for the suggestion on more safety rail content!

    I love these ladders and they are durable and a beast as I have the 21 ft. I looking at getting the 26 ft. both 21 and 26 will be top heavy for me at 5' 8" so it is always top heavy.

    • @LittleGiantLadders
      @LittleGiantLadders  Год назад +1

      And because it gets top heavy when you add attachments on one end of the extension ladder, you will definitely want to "foot the ladder" at the base of a foundation (or have someone step on the feet if needed) while bringing it down.

  • @donhgr

    Those levelers would be better if they were on both ends, you’re more likely to be uneven on both sides when using as a A-Frame ladder.

    • @LittleGiantLadders
      @LittleGiantLadders  Год назад +4

      For the relatively few that need levelers on both sides, it is possible to order a "replacement outer" and use that in place of the wheel side. Unfortunately for the Epic, that would remove the safety rail functionality, so I would recommend if you need ratchet levelers on all 4 sides, to do that with the Velocity with ratchets, or the Leveler.

  • @jasonhoman6525
    @jasonhoman6525 2 месяца назад

    I think it would be cool if the safety rails could rotate on the walk through position to aim towards the building. I have a large overhang on my roof so it makes it tough to clean out the gutters. If I could aim those safety rails at the building then I could reach the gutters without putting my ladder against them in the extension position. Admittedly idk how safe this would be.

    • @LittleGiantLadders
      @LittleGiantLadders  9 месяцев назад

      We would love to make everything in our Springville factory!! Unfortunately we don't ultimately have the space to make them all. We do still have one of the largest ladder manufacturing plants in the United States. We make some King Kombos, Hyperlites, Sumostances, Sentinels, Revolution Aircraft Support, some Cages, and a few others here in Springville, Utah.
      That being said, what we have sent to other locations to be assembled are engineered here, and we've even sent our engineers to those factories to ensure that OSHA/ANSI testing meets our high standard.

    Last month I purchased a Leveler M22 from Lowes. Can the accessories for the Epic be used on the Leveler?

    • @LittleGiantLadders
      @LittleGiantLadders  2 года назад +3

      Some of the accessories that work for the Epic work for the Leveler, but not all of them. You'll notice the Epic has some attachments for the safety rails that our other products do not have. Also, only the model 26 Leveler has an accessory port at the top (where an airdeck would be used). But everything else would work on any size leveler.

    How's the Leveler 1.0, Leveler 2.0, Epic, Megalite different and similar and what accessories work with each? What do we need to do to qualify our register for the lifetime warranty?

    • @LittleGiantLadders
      @LittleGiantLadders  4 месяца назад

      The Leveler 2.0 improves on the 1.0 by having a new style palm button (it becomes a tool hangar in addition to the palm button) and comes with the Tool Tray pre-installed. The ratcheting leg leveler that is built-in on both has an additional way to retract it when you're done (with your foot, instead of just your hand).
      The Epic is similar to the Leveler 1.0, however, it has the connections available to attach Safety Rails. These Safety Rails act as either a wing-span (wall standoff) or a walk-thru so you can access a roof much easier by giving you that 3 feet required at the top, and no awkward climb-around when transitioning to a roof. The Epic also has an accessory port, allowing you to use an AirDeck. No other Little Giant ladder has this port any more.
      The MegaLite+ is what is now available in Costco. It is closest to a Leveler 1.0. Not many differences except color scheme.
      They can all use the Articulating Ladder Tool Tray (or the Tool Tray XL), Trestle Brackets+Plank, Work Platform, Platform Pro, Project Tray, Cargo Hold, Fuel Tank, and the Ladder Rack. Only the Epic can use the AirDeck, as I mentioned earlier.
      To qualify for the warranty, you fill out the form on our website which will ask a couple questions like which ladder you bought, where you bought it, etc. It's very simple. Then if you ever have any issues we can find your information in our system, or on the offchance was ever some sort of recall, we'd be able to contact you.
      If you have more questions feel free to respond to this comment, or our customer experience team always loves to chat! Their number is 1-800-453-1192

    what is the difference between the little giant xtreme and the little giant epic ?

    • @LittleGiantLadders
      @LittleGiantLadders  2 года назад +1

      The major differences are that instead of rock locks, the Epic has rapid locks. And while they both have accessory ports, the accessory port on the Epic can swivel to allow accessories to be put in horizontally (like the air deck, fuel tank, etc).

  • @semajjsj

    How is the Epic different from the Revolution? Thanks!

    • @LittleGiantLadders
      @LittleGiantLadders  Год назад

      The Epic has safety rails and an accessory port at the top. The Revolution does not. The Epic features rapid-locks to adjust the length or height of the ladder, while the Revolution uses metal rock-locks. It all depends on what you plan on using your ladder for, to know which one is right for you. If you like the rapid locks but don't need the safety rails, also take a look at the Leveler.

    ISN'T IT ABOUT TIME THESE LADDER MANUFACTURERS MAKE A REVOLUTIONARY UPGRADE BY ADDING ALL FOUR LEGS WITH LEVELERS SO IT CAN BE USED IN EITHER PERPENDICULAR OR PARALLEL PLACEMENT OF LADDER AND THEN LEVELED EITHER WAY OR ITS STILL LIMITED IN LEVELING ADJUSTABILITY?
    . ... I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO A NEW DESIGN WITH ALL 4 LEGS BEING ABLE TO BE INDEPENDENTLY ADJUSTABLE AND LEVELED SO THE LADDER CAN BE USE IN PERPENDICULAR AND PARALLEL PLACEMENT TO THE WORK PROJECT. ..... IT WOULD BE A GAME CHANGER IN THE LADDER INDUSTRY AND SELL LIKE HOT CAKES....
    Otherwise what if the ground is only uneven on left half side of ladder... even if one leveled the one ladder rung on one side , that would still leave the other side uneven and still needing the same leveling. ....!? Without having the ability TO ADJUST THE OTHER SIDE OF THE LADDERS RUNGS YOU WILL STILL BE LIMITED IN THE LADDERS USE AND NOT BE ABLE TO USE THE LADDER IN BOTH PARALLEL AND PERPENDICULAR PLACEMENT TO THE WORK PROJECT. ....I HOPE THIS HELPS.. LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING A QUAD LEG INDEPENDENT ADJUSTABILITY MULTI USE 26 FT LADDER WITH EPIC FEATURES LIKE THE DUAL POSITION AIR DECK. .....
