    Awesome video man! Thanks for the review. I’m definitely about to go buy 2 of them. I’m a trim carpenter and just bought the new Dewalt double 60v max double compound miter saw and built a new miter bench, and need outfeed tables, but usually I use them as a table also so I need something capable of both without taking up a lot of my work space. Your review convinced me I need it. Thanks again! Keep up the great videos.

    I just got one of these from a friend of mine looking to downsize his shop. I'll be using it to replace a very cheap Workmate-style knockoff that I've had for years. Your unboxing, review plus video from the sales team was very helpful to showing me what it can do. I think I made a good choice of selecting it. Thanks for posting this.

      Thanks for sharing. It's a handy work surface that fold up pretty quick and easy for storage. I've had that workmate for years. It was kinda small, but handy for clamping. I now use the Jawhorse for my clamping needs.

    Love my Pegasus! I’m not a pro carpenter or anything, I’m an airbrush artist. But had to make some custom wall shelves for my airbrush paints and models. But after I was done, I was thinking of selling it, as I had no more need for it. But then a lightbulb turn on my brain...and presto...it’s now an awesome outdoor bar in my backyard patio. I make awesome margaritas on it, lol. Seriously, it’s a great table for practically anything outdoors. It also could be a BBQ grill cart. I love this thing...A+++!!!

    Thanks for providing this content. WORX makes a great foldable work table but it's pretty pricey ($120-$140). The good news is that WORX sells refurbs and open boxes on eBay for this work table at greatly reduced prices.
    I got two so I could also use them as sawhorses if the need arises. If it doesn't I can link the two tables together to make a large work table similar to the vid clip you provided. One of the perks you missed mentioning in your review is that the table has a slot built into it to fit in a 2 x 4 when folded to a sawhorse orientation. This comes in very handy when you have two of these tables since place a piece of plywood on top of the two sawhorses to make any size table you'd like. The slots make sure your table surface is raised so it acts as a sacrificial surface so when you cut/trim you don't accidently cut into the WORX table (I've done that with my foldable Stanley sawhorses unfortunately).
    Since this table comes with clamps, it would have been nice to add an additional track into the table so that you could use them when in the sawhorse orientation (similar to their clamping sawhorse product). But I guess if they did that, there would be no reason to purchase their clamping sawhorses right?
    BTW, can you use the interconnectors on the WORX Pegasus and connect it to the WORX Sidekick? I think you mentioned that you have both.

    I bought one and took it back in a week. I got a Dewalt Express folding workbench instead. The Pegasus at 30lbs is just too heavy to move around on a frequent basis. The Dewalt is 23 lbs. Also the Pegasus does not have a real handle for carrying. The Dewalt has 2 - for two different orientations of carrying.
    The Dewalt both opened and closed very easily. I found the Pegasus fairly easy to 'open up' but folding it back together was awkward. You have to reach underneath the table to get at the release clips and also to fold the shelf. I notice in the review Mark folds/unfolds it on top of a table which is not representative of real use.
    The Dewalt does not include integral rails, clamps, or bench dogs, but for $30 less its a much better buy.
    Just my opinion.

    • @MarkThomasBuilder
      @MarkThomasBuilder  6 лет назад +2

      Thanks for your feedback. It folds and carries decently for me, but I see you point. I need the work clamps and bench dogs for my projects, so I think I'll stay with it. I just used it for clamping down an axe for a sharpening video. I upgraded from the Black and Decker Workmate.

    • @minuteman7117
      @minuteman7117 6 лет назад +1

      For the record the Dewalt also has provisions for digs and clamping - they just aren't included.
      I also meant to comment on the Pegasus that it looked awkward that the rails of the clamps extended way out from the table top, especially when clamping something thin. I'd find that getting in my way. The Dewalt clamps differently and doesn't do that (once you buy the clamps of course)

      Problem many found with DeWalt is it does holdup as well many of my friends who bought them on sale at HD for 69 dollars. DeWalt is just rebadged not designed ofr made by them.

  • @daviddavis5689
    @daviddavis5689 5 лет назад +1

    Worx hit it on design with weight for stability and used that weight for making it holdup well. Nice saw horse ;table combo. DeWalt rebadged is just to much poor quality plastic in comparison.

    I've had the Keter table for years and it's been great, I highly recommend them. (BTW, it's not "ketter", it's "keeter"!) But I'm also thinking of getting one of these too. I mean, between the garage, basement and outside, you can't have too many multi-purpose folding work centers, right? Plus I just found one of these on ebay for $100, think it's going to become mine.

    Wish there was away to keep the Table top closed/locked when carrying( latch system on the end of table could work). The underside shelf seems flimsy. How well does this unit hold up in cold weather being that it's plastic?

    • @MarkThomasBuilder
      @MarkThomasBuilder  5 лет назад

      I keep it in my garage over the winter, so I can't say if it's brittle in the cold. The latch idea sounds great. I'll mention it to them the next time I see the Worx Company.

    I don't know. Seems like a whole lot of plastic and like it could tip over if you were leaning on a board at one end. I read somewhere that you can't just take your own clamp and use it on this table (because, again, it's plastic). And what if you wanted to lay a 4' x 4' on it? Is it even flat?
