    Other Don'ts, some of which I learnt the hard way:
    Don't have hot showers with a new tattoo. The steam can open up the pores and make ink drain out
    Don't wash your tattoo in hot water
    Don't put the tattoo directly under running water, whether that be a from a tap or a shower head
    Don't use too much cream when moisturizing
    Don't use a towel to dry your tattoo, only use a fresh paper towel / kitchen paper
    Don't rub dry your tattoo. Pat dry
    Don't wear tight clothes over your tattoo
    Don't go to bed with a new tattoo without freshly washed bedsheets and pyjamas, or whatever you wear to bed that may cover the tattoo

      Hello Paige, it depends on which kind of film you got on, if its cling film take it off immediately, but is the film made especially for tattoos and are breathable its fine to leave it on for 3-5 days or whatever it says on the packaging, you must assume that your artist has understood the products and therefore told you the right way to use the product, but since we dont know which brand it is, i cannot say anything other than what i just wrote, i hope it was helpful. • @SorryMomTattoo
      @SorryMomTattoo  2 года назад

      hello Juan, We would recommend you to wait at least 2 weeks. Tattoos can not tolerate sun and a fresh tattoo cannot tolerate sunscreen the first couple of weeks, while the tattoo is healing. So a combination of not been able to protect the tattoo and the risk of infection etc. if you play soccer is why we recommend 2 weeks of off time. Jacob - Team Sorry Mom⚓

    I got a tattoo yesterday ( one of many) and my artist said to leave on the clear tape for 5 days. It’s still on but I have blood and ink pooling at the bottom half. It’s been over 24 hours, should I go ahead and take the tape off and wash or let it sit. I’m worried how much ink/blood is pooling the bottom half…

    • @SorryMomTattoo
      @SorryMomTattoo  2 года назад +1

      Hey KC, Sorry for the late response. its normal that fluid, excess blood and ink will build up under the tattoo film. If its not tattoo film but cling film get it of, if the amount of blood/ink is a concerning amount get it of, but if its just a bid, you can leave it for a couple of days. We normally says keep 1 layer on for the first 24 hours then clean and change the tattoo film and leave it on for 2-3 days. Jacob Team Sorry Mom

      Hello Gabriel! you should apply lotion 3-5 times a day depending on where you live, how active you are etc. but as a rule of thumb every 3-5 hour when the tattoo gets dry.
