Thanks for the great review. I've just ordered off the amazon prime day for $320 (£260 for me) with 8 ram/ 128GB. I like chromebooks as its like using your mobile, but bigger with a keyboard. Just gone off windows laptops & tablets. But also want to use this for some gaming too without paying stupid money for a gaming laptop. P,s love the t shirt.
If the OS would just work out the kinks of using Microsoft Productivity suite, I would be sold, but man, Microsoft 365 is so bad on Chrome OS. Since I do a lot of research, grabbing stuff off the internet, highlighting and quoting old books, etc. Windows and MS just does such a great job of keeping formatting, but everytime I use Google docs, it jumbles everything up, doesn't bring source information, and doesn't work well with printers, etc. Chrome OS just isn't ready for all that. Love watching content and surfing the web on Chrome OS though. Love the UI and how lightweight it is. Hope to see Chrome OS progress in the future. Thanks for making the video. Great stuff!
Thanks man awesome review I only wish I were more patient, I it was in my cart and putting in my info when you said you were sponsored an I couldn't be bothered to go back, great review otherwise.
I've changed some touchpad settings on my Chromebook. I enabled touchpad acceleration and speed from slow to 75% fast. Those settings are under DEVICE (or, just search the settings for mouse).
so can you play steam on it if so what type of games like hades or would that be too demanding i want a laptop for college but i would prefer if it could play some not any crazy triple A games but a couple decent ones
IF your having problems with your chrome book tell Google !!! They can't fix what they don't know about so.... Press,. ALT SHIFT I ,,,,, and fill out the bug report and maybe next chrome os update will have a fix to your glitches ..... Chrome books now receive an update every month ,, and Google says for 8..10 years,, which is quite good
Appreciate the balanced review of this Chromebook and ChromeOS! Lenovo has had some great chromebooks the last few years.
BTW - love the return of Chromebook content! I am really interested in the HP Dragonfly Pro Chromebook... waiting on it to price drop a little.
Just picked it up off of best buy's black friday sale and real happy with the price/performance ratio

Hi does this laptop have bluetooth?
Yes
It's nice to see videos on things we use to show people that you don't need overpowered devices. Buy what you need, lol.
