The trend I would like to see come back is a Benchmade knife company with reasonable prices.

Both awesome carries but I would have to say I’m leaning towards Lyle.

A few months ago one of my cousins was recounting a story about him, one of my great uncles, his dad and another cousin all pulling old Case Canoes randomly one evening and comparing them, mentioning it coulda made a great commercial. It’s a shame really that so many people don’t carry a knife nowadays, that definitely needs to make a comeback. I’d be happy to see the sprinkle donut knives go away. I appreciate the thought behind them but, just, no. I dig the Leatherman, Surefire carry but would swap the auto for the ProTech TR3 Integrity (even though autos are legal in my state). I carry autos on occasion but I appreciate the ease of closing a manual over the cool factor of opening the auto.

Agree 100% with the normalizing/decriminalizing knife carry as the trend that should come back.
The trend I’m glad is going away is brands releasing assisted knifes. Fine to have a couple super budget options, but it just seems like a cheap out on any knife over $25.
Trend that I wish would go away is the price hiking we’ve been seeing from some brands over the past few years (“cough…benchmade…cough, cough…CRKT”)
Benchmade’s prices just seem like they’re 2X what a reasonable asking price would be. CRKT has been releasing some cool knives in better materials, but they’re also asking too much and I’m not sure why they’re name is on some of the knives because they were designed by someone else AND produced by another company.

Couple trends I'd like to see go away as of yesterday: everybody thinking everything should be priced like budget China folders (USA-made knives will never be cheap and, yes, some come at a brand-name premium, time to get over it folks), and donut knives.
Trend I'd like to see come back: overbuilt tank knives. Everything is about light, thin, etc right now. Let's see some big boys come back into the limelight! Looking at you ZT...😁

I wish carrying knifes was normalized. Anytime I need one in a friend/family setting I usually hear “be careful that looks sharp!” Yea that’s the idea.

FULLY agree on the steel elitism…. hardly anyone uses there stuff hard enough to benefit from properties a “super steel” offers.. A trend I want to see go away is clipping the knife on the outside of the pocket!!! Aarrrrggg….

I hate to say that wallet is not from Redeemed Creations, he is not local to Ohio. I own several wallets from Redeemed and this is not his makers mark at all.
