I also remember back in the 80's in High School here in Canada, I made my own Metal shirts too in "Graphic Arts" class, only we called it "Visual Communications". Silk screening, printing with an old style metal press, photography & photo developing in a dark room.

in 89-90 i bought t shirts from the huge German EMP mailorder catalogue.100 pages glossy full color catalogue.they had shirts from all the labels like Megaforce,Combat,Metal Blade,Roadrunner/Blue Grape,Under One Flag,Noise,Steamhammer and more.them EMP catalogues was amazing.wish i still had them today

I ordered a Hell Awaits tee from the merch insert. I did the same with a Megadeth Jersey from Killing.

Hey Matt. I have ordered tons of merch from tons of bands since ‘88 (born in March ‘75)…Both at shows, record shops mail order catalogs mags & band’s fan clubs…I discovered my passion for music late…if only I embraced it sooner….but I digress. It stretches from Hard Rock, Prog Rock/Prog Metal, Heavy Metal, little Thrash Metal & some Grunge/Alternative (AIC, Pearl Jam, Sound Garden, STP-Nirvana didn’t click with me at all)

I bought a Venom shirt from the "At War With..." merch form back in the day. It did take almost 2 months to arrive, that's how it was in the UK back then. I *think* the shirt is still up in the attic here, but it began to dissolve once I moved over to Denmark in 1998. Must be a Norse thing. Anyway, I sealed it in plastic and hoped for the best. That was around early 2000 so it may just be a pile of sludge by now. If I find it, I'll message a photo over.

Cool video! I have a few old merch forms in my collection, my favorite being the Cirith Ungol merch forms from my OG copies of Frost And Fire and One Foot In Hell. Got a Running Wild one from Branded And Exiled that you can order RW merch AND merch from label mates Sinner on.

I have all the Maiden UK merch forms from the '80s. From PoM-7th Son, I used to buy every item on them. Still got most them but had to get rid of 2 satin jackets as they went mouldy. Was in the FC and bought some of the US event shirts, one these was on eBay for £3,000, probably still there at that price lol. Lost a big merch order from the FC in '88-89 and never got my money back, left the FC because of it. I'll try and send a vid with some memorabilia, SiT watch, IM belt buckle, wrist bands etc...
Bought a copy of Unleashed in the East that came with a merch sheet, with models wearing a sweatshirt and t-shirt. Also had tour dates on it. By the time I had bought this Priest classic, it had been 12 years since it's original release and the designs look dated, never mind that none of it was available anymore.
Matt, I was just curious: do you not use the inner sleeves for your records or do you just pull them out of the inners for quicker access in your videos?
The latter. Records go right back into lined inner sleeves after shooting.
