I feel like this years planting went so fast in comparison to last year, the sheer lack of content involving the planter, due to the fact it operated properly, reduced your episodes by 80%. We literally spent video after video last year watching you deal with that planter. So great to see all the work go so quickly, with less stress. Here's always wishing yous the best! Edit: I'll take a heating pad, that would be awesome!
Same!😂😂 During Covid I had a girl named Alexa in my class-every time I said her name during our zoom class it was very entertaining!😂 I do hope I’m never in that situation again though!
I agree if she makes heating pad I would also buy one I just had lower back surgery first of May from falling off a roof and heating pads are my friend
Of course I would love a “corn bag”. True story, I made some for Christmas presents a few years ago and when my recipients put them in the microwave, they popped. Not the bag but the corn. I bought deer corn. Who knew deer liked popcorn. I’m a 79 year old great-great grandmother who loves your channel and I still look at the personal greeting you sent me from my son Shane. Keep it between the rows
It’s great that your daughter is sewing. We have used corn bags for years, besides microwaving them, we keep them in the freezer for icing down sore muscles.
Tech tip for Zach. I discovered that my butane soldering iron came with a knife attachment that works phenomenally well for removing net wrap and twine. It slices right through like butter without the risk of heat damage to bearings and seals!
Mrs Millennial is hilarious. We all already know she has to be a special kind of woman to put up with Zach but she is a comedian as well. Be safe on your drive up North Zach. God Bless our American Farmers and Ranchers.
Heating bags are a lifesaver. I lost my lower left leg in a hunting accident a few years ago and I deal with phantom. Phantom pains feel like you are being electrocuted and bit by fire ants on a foot that no longer exist. On the pain scale it’s 8-10 24/7. I use the heating bags filled with rice and place them on my stump. It helps override the phantom pains and helps me get some relief. If you have aches and pains these bags are a lifesaver.
My grandkids call me Pegleg Gary. Those phantom pains are a real bite in the butt. The corn bags are an excellent idea. Teaching kids Free Enterprise is an excellent idea I wish her the best!!
Support young entrepreneurs!! My wife loves grabbing those in the winter and put them under her blanket when she a lil cold. Also good for comforting a sick person.
Think Cooking 22:51 with Mrs Millennial Farmer is the next big RUclips channel! And now heating pads (think I need one) and sewing crafts from the kids! World market isn't ready for all this!
A few years ago you promoted a poly shute that you bungeed to the bottom of the CCS tank. I was so impressed we bought 1. Works great. Became a 1 man job
😅 are you sure your muscles are still well strong enough mostly your teeth 😂 I'd love to know you more better than this , that's only if you don't mind leaving me a reply
Pro tip from a truck driver. Next time you swing past a truck stop, get yourself a hook for each semi. They shouldn't be more than $20ish a piece. It'll help you pull pesky trailer release handles. ALSO when they bind like that, get back in the rig and bump backwards with the trailer brakes on, then set your semi brakes while you are backwards against the trailer brakes. Helps release some of the tension. Proper servicing and Lubrication of the mechanism obviously is the best bet. Be safe out there.
Zach, next time you need to empty the planter of seed, don’t hurt your back. Get some small metal water troughs from your feed store (here in the South we use Southern States). Put them under your clean out and let the seed fall into them. You could also use metal garbage cans, but the troughs have wider opening.
I was just thinking - haven't seen Becky in a video for a while. Was hoping that she was doing well. A corn heating pad would be nice. Hope the crew / family and you are doing well. Praying for a great summer and growing season for you. Take care
100% would support the heating corn bags. I suffered a spinal cord injury a year and half ago and those bags got me through some rough days! They’re amazing. Good for you girl that you love sewing and making things. I’m 41 and can barely sew a button back on a shirt 🤦♀️
Loved to see Becky in the video, too! She’s had an awesome sense of humor! Corn filled heating bags sound like they’d be perfect to have on hand. I hope your daughter decides to sell some. I have a feeling she could sell more than 8!
Hi Zach, I'm a cattleman from France, When I happen to have twine wrapped on the manure spreader, I burn it, you should try! Btw, seeing so much bale twine and net in a field make me sick, here we put them in the trash can when we open a bale
@@YouennPhilippe Some bearings have sleeves to keep them sealed, and those that dont will leak out all the grease when heated by something burning that close. All metal bearings that you repack right after would be fine. But thats a lot of work. Either way fellow human, hello from across the world! I certainly mean no disrespect, just talking about why it might not always be the best idea. :-)
Mate, burn the twine off the spindles and axles with a hand held butane torch or full blown oxy gun ( no o2!! ) and the trusty hook. No damage, no time wasted. Done it for years 😊
One of the tools to use cut plastic is a 5 in 1 painter tool very strong handle to hold on to a wide blade to cut through the material. A round shape to cut next to the bearing support. I use a mill file to sharpen when the get dull. Put bright tape on them so you don’t lose them.
In our dealership when working on pickup heads on balers, to get all the bale twine out we have a trick. Take a 1 inch by 1/4" thick piece of steel preferably 3' long, heat one end till it's glowing red hot. Touch the twine and it will catch fire and have a small flame and melts right off falling to the ground. Time saver big time.
The nets used on round bales are just the most horrific and fine, should switch to squares, they usually use four thiacc ones that can be pulled out of the bales pretty easy so it´s not left on your field. Maybe you can invite the landlord over to pick his twine out of the bearings and reuse it this fall. 😁
Your daughter has a great idea. Not to be a kill joy on it and get into business and legaiize and all that, but you may want to put a patent on your daughters ideas of making corn cushions and deer blind cushions, pillows or what ever she comes up with to make. Just a thought.

I heat up an old flat head screwdriver with a torch and melt the twine in half. After that you can usually just peal it right out and around the bearing
I think Becky needs to start the Millennial Chef channel! And Zack, Jim and dad should give the cooking a go! But definitely more of Becky cooking. That was great!
For emptying seeds from planter -- long piece of PVC with large opening ( 4-6 inches ?? ) with maybe a 45 degree end or fabricate a "funnel" maybe made out of an old inner tube from a truck and the other end empty's out into a 30 gallon ?? trash can -- then spillage would small and more manageable -- just a thought
