how can this only have 300 likes?! ...jeez, exactly what I was lookin for man, ty so much!! I wanna see you build an automatic (whatever purpose) drone with Durf's Modpack for Survival involving GPS tracking in Survival mode ;)!!
Could you make a tutorial about how to get to a destination with vectorial maths? I really would like to see a drone heading in the right direction by turning and thrusting forwards...
Correct me if I'm wrong but in every 3D program X and Y are your horizontal axis and Z is your height (most of the time coloured green, red and blue respectively) So I think it makes sense how you use them.
Next step: add some of that juicy PID control to accelerate away from your current location until you reach some max speed and decelerate as you approach your desired location.
You should build a thing that finds your friends by spawning it in, setting yourself as an exception, then releasing a drone to fly above the person and tell you their cords.
might be a little late (or early in the video, haven't seen it all yet) if you compare coordinates you want some tolerance. I should probably find it out myself but if you display the number only in 1000s, 100s and 10s, will it still compare the singles? if I can amke it work it's probably a more complicated take then the subtraction thing but was just thinking out loud
Really good tutorial. Sadly enough that is the easier part tracking/regulator designing. I have myself just started working around with that and I tried to make some system to regulate the hight of a levitator which also could "calculate" how much minimun thrust needed to liftoff. I did make it with a quite big tolerance hoping that it would be easier like that, sadly enough that made it overshoot 10 over what i wanted, so fail on me... If you have time or want then it would be really cool if you wanted to make some kind of tutorial on a hight regulated system too(preferable without the PID) Thanks in advance and this message isnt annoyingly long :D
How about tracking the hight of the creation, saving the hight in a memoryblock, wait for about 2 ticks and save the hight again to compare these two. You can then calculate if you are falling or rising and with the two saved variables can calculate the amout of thrust a gimblethruster would need to output to equalise the falling or rising?
@@blau.specht could work. Although in that case I could probably just use xometer's velocity meter and have it try to reduce that, at the same time as it is trying to get the right hight... Feels like Im still having a problem there.
I know a better hovering technique: you need a counter block with an input as how high you want to go, then you make it so the num. that is fed to the g. thrusters is the value in the counter block minus the altitude, so when you boost the thrust it will go back to the point it'll perfectly hover
Kan how can I give a smart engine two black values to choose like I want to click a switch and it makes the power a certain number and click another and it makes it another number, how can I alternate between two values with a button or switch
First 700 view also I need a tutorial on the weird mod pack sensor with settings that make no sense the absolute value block and about everything in the mod pack that has to do with logic and numbers And the speedometer and how to make it show speed
Please play stationeers again
Edit:You liked it now but will you play it?
Whooo! Yay another tutorial so i can learn logic 😃thanks kAN
This means nothing to mean but I’m Ill and it helps me get through the day. Thanks kAN!

Great I was able to watch this after I reverse engineered his GPS and orbital cannon

Your vids are the best!
i have an idea: can you try a PID system?
awesome vid ;D
I would like it, too.
0:53 man please make a tutorial on how to do that please or at least tell us a creation that has it!

Ever notice how kAN uses "zee" and "zed" interchangeably?
He has american friends
I’m from Canada, but moved to the us when i was 16, i catch myself doing it as well.

That helped me sooooooooooo much!!!😍

can you do a video on the camera controls mod? It makes it so that you can control bearings by moving the camera
these looks too rocket science
Pls do a video how to calculate the vector to a point i was trying to do that myself but i could not think of a way how to do it
i feel old. this video is three years old and I still refer to this video.

Or if you just wanted to give me some tips on how to make the correction/comparison part then I would be overjoyed.

Have you seen the trailers of mortal engines yet??
Kan, can you make a video about how to do a speedometer?
Just use the x-o-meter set to speed and use the number blocks for the display

@Luka Milutinovic He just built it like that as a simple demonstration of how to do GPS tracking
Maybe you should try making a GPS that requires a car to use roads to get to a destination
Well ROBLOX uses XYZ and if you put that same nuber and a Script it will go that exact area
can you make it so that it only faces towards the gps location but not drive to it?
Please play More stormworks!!!
Kan
play Space engineers (now it is fixed)
I play on a 1050 TI with more than 120 fps
Whats the mod pack he is using?
Rebuild the blimp with number logic
Thank you, kAN. I can use this in a another game called "Evertech Sandbox" it is very same like Scrap Mechanic.

Quique13 you can store two values on a memory panel then hook a white switch/button into it to switch the value
what mod
can you make it so that it only faces towards the gps location but not drive to it?
Edit: kinda like aimbot
