- Hey everyone and welcome back to more Scrap Mechanic! Today we are looking at a GPS guided delivery drone! Give this quadcopter drone GPS coordinates and it will delivery the package right on target!

I'm pretty sure this is how Amazon workers recieve their "salary".
Amazon workers don't get payed much but they don't get later minimum wage either, so it's not a bad choice for a job especially as a teenager

Nah, but if you work hard enough, you get the parts for drones over the years. Then you get the bombs. I got my first full set after 5 years

You could make an invisible (and in fact, not even physically existing) maze by using an array of GPS coordinates to control wether or not your vehicle is allowed to move in a certain direction. Of course, you could just walk through the area completely unhindered, but that just makes it even better.
You should make a zero/low gravity satellite with spudguns on it, and call it Spudnik.

Kan would have to host, to have time to measure coordinates and make appropriate machine far away so that drone is unnoticed, i think it would be hard but doable.
He could use that underground land mine but attach the gps coordinate to it. But yeah he would have to find a spot for the drone and control center.

Do a multiplayer Monday video playing battle ship with drones to drop a and destroy the spot that you launch at
make a height option so it will go to the coordinates then use the number sensor to tell when it is at the correct height to drop
When I got home and tired, I watched your videos and they made me feel relaxed...

Thank you so much, I have been working on something like this since before this modpack update. I was trying to build a gps guided missile. A system where you could tell it a location on the map to hit and it would launch. I could never work this out with vanilla logic and havent learned enough about the modpack logic to build this. Thank you kAN!

Give your friends a "gift" with a GPS and transmitter(maybe hook up fake engines and controllers so it looks special), send a missile to those co-ords.

Like the height adjustment, you should make a breaking system that activates the main thrusters if the drone is close enough to the ground so it don’t glitch through the floor of a delivery base.

You need to modify it and make a version where you can shoot a tracker with the plunger mod and the drone will chase it. You could also use multiple drones.

How did you do the five block tolerance?
Can you put a time delay on the take off and/or put a remote on that, so when you push the button on the garage? After the build time is over, it take off & bomb the garages or near the them. And have a couple of them. I know I am an year late on this question. I just subscribe to your channel a couple weeks ago. I think you guys cool & funny.

I have an idea for an improvement. You know how it (the drone) slammed down when you dropped the payload the first time? When it returns have some small thrusters that slow the fall just in case it messes up a delecate opperation.
I just realized you could make a large mother ship with missiles turrets and bombs!
You should use magnets instead of decoupling so you can pick stuff up too
OMG KAN! You can do the AI city now with the gps thingy!!!!! and use that so the cars know where they are!
Would it be possible to make it via "laser scan" so you could set the target from a hill :D (maybe with your portable compass, and a sensor that scans the distance to what you laser at and then adds the difference according to the angle etc. to your position)
And maybe you could have like 10 drones, you can controll, where it uses one after the other^^
(or one drone with a magazin where it detects if there is an explosive on the magazin and gets them with a magnet)
Send your coordinates though remote controllers and have it come and blow you up!!
With a GPS you could also do a self driving car to your coordinates to get in the car and drive off
Can you change the coordinates mid flight? I would love to be able to modify something like this to track a moving vehicle and then drop on command

You should try to make a fritz X bomb for the drone (a guided bomb)
How about a remote target designator that uses those remote blocks to send the coodinates straight to your missile computer if desired. (tracking targets?)
you could put the minis stop block on the drone so it losses momentum
Soon you can have a small marker system which connects to your friends car or base, which it sends data to the control center which could drop the bomb where ever the marker is

you should create a wireless GPS so you can have the bomber follow the target if it moves. Also you should make the bot go down to 1000 on the Z coordinate before dropping the bomb

You should get the magnet mod and make it so that it can drop a payload and then comeback to pick up another and fly to a different target
Hey kan, shouldn't the z coordinate be replaced with the y coordinate because z is forward and back and y is up and down.
You could hide a few drones far away and launch them from a control center. The only problem is when it comes back to you.
Could you build a self adjusting carrier platform by adjusting the gimbal Jets until the creation reaches a certain velocity?
Could you make an enigma machine in scrap mechanic?

the way you talk about logic and stuff makes it sound really simple but it's not very simple at all.
YOU SHOULD MAKE IT TRACK THE TARGET!!!
Instead of putting in a single cordinates and nothing else you could just hook up the base gps to the router and then hook the router to the target.... it may need some more calculations but that will give it that adventures feel when you need to get the router ti the target!

Kan you make a artillery Cannon that shoots at the set coordinates? You can use mini's modpack for the Cannon, it has a burster block, pushes the thing in front of it
you should make a auto-targeting version of this, so you could just send it out without the need of coordinates
You could make it stay 20 meters above the ground using sensors, then you wouldn't need to be 2000 meters above sea level P:
You could also make it pickup bombs from a specific place via magnets/grabbing them
I think you should make some kind of tracker that the drone will follow
