- Hey everyone back again in Scrap Mechanic with a look at the Intelligentia mod by Blueflame! This mod allows for the creation of automatic turrets as well as homing missiles! Using the new scripting the mod creates super accurate rockets and flak!

You can probably fit the 4 directional WASD logic gates in the missile itself, and thus have a much more compact launch platform.
Barrel launchers will be relevant again when the explosives come out. Also if they add collision damage the rockets could just be set to max thruster speed and smash into the plane.

Oh yeah, that’s gonna be so awesome. I haven’t managed to build a glitch free rail gun myself but I’m sure that I could find one
IP0T I made one and its awesome. It shoots almost straight and even has a knockback effect to it :)

You should have used an AI that didnt take spud drop into account for the missiles, it would be more accurate
Try making a rocket where the player is placed in the front and is moved around to steer the rocket, using one of the homing blocks, like a pig with a carrot on the end of a stick attached to its head.

For Multiplayer Monday, you guys should have destructible vehicles with AI turrets on them, maybe even using the flak guns, and drive around while the AI attacks the others. You just need to make sure you press E on your own AI block to make sure it doesn't target you instead.
reminds me a lot of those tiny flies that just bump into your face in big groups for no reason :D

Attach a spud gun and a small proximity sensor to the missile so that when it gets in range it shoots you!

I wonder if you can create a path following plane using this mod. That would be awesome :D
I want to see this mod used with potato guns for mobile internet, or change the spudguns to colour panels and high range colour sensors for data transmission, because I really want to drive a car with that

By using the player imitators as tracking points you could fire data from the ground to say, a repeater in the sky, and back to the ground receivers, which is what I want to see

I did some testing, thrusters won't show particles of you spawn them off a lift, but will fix themselves of you restart the world. Thrusters you place down will act normally.

Attach a flak cannon to the end of one of the rockets along with a sensor thats like 1-2 blocks, and have it activate the flak cannon when it hits the player :D

it think if you connected the 50 block proximity sensor to an explosive it would blow up when it came close enough to your plane! also great homing missile!
When the bombs are added, this will be really fun. They could home in on the target, and actually explode on impact.
You could mount saw blades (or other sharp objects?) or a spud gun and proximity sensor, so it shoots a spud when it "hits." Then it could deactivate, or die like a bee when it stings you.
You should add a sensor on the end of the missile set to 1 block range that fires a spud gun(or four spud guns)

With the proximity sensor once there are explosives you could say once you're close enough blow up

Shooting missiles I think that's going to be a very good idea
Here’s a fun idea for multiplayer monday. One team builds a fort amd has Has auto turrets that defend a base. The other team builds destructible ai vehicles to try to infiltrate and destroy the base. Kind of like a tower defense game.

Maybe the rocket is wobbly because wings mod goes crazy at high speeds. Maybe lowering the speed works.
OkkaOK I guess it's the thrusters, if one fires the other starts to fire because its offset of the direction. Maybe it would be better to use a slower track block so it wouldn't have ti adjust that fast.

I imagine that with these mods you could create a homing missile, yes, but also with a return to base function.
you can make the rockets go back to the launcher with a player imitator i believe. That should help you out when you would need to clean up. Also one of the rockets may have a player imitator. That should be interesting

Vlad Elmacho your English is pretty good, the only mistake I found was “built”, you used the past tense, the correct one would be “build”. Keep learning and your English will be even better!
You can put spud guns at the tips of the rockets. Ig they are activated when something is directly infront of them you can use them to destroy your plane.
if you want to easily remote control something, on the workshop there is a mod that makes wireless connections possible without glitches

Multiplayer monday where you have to dodge missiles that run out fuel (timers) would be fun
There is a special AI block specially designed for the flak cannon. The pdtlr-500 whatever is for conventional spammy style guns etc... It's the most powerful AI, for those kinds of turrets at least
I used the PDTLR-5000 for a flak gun on a clock and it hit every time on Flying Machine 06

You could put four sensors around a spud gun at short range so that they shoot whenever they get close.
Put spikes using a certian mod and so when they hit they do damage its something like the saw mod?

couldnt you use the proximity block thingy and a spudgun on the front to simulate impact/explosive damage from the missile? what i mean is: the missle flies towards you and when it gets into a certain proximity to the player lets say 5-10 blocks it fires to spudgun/flak spudgun. would that work?

You could use the spikes from the sharp things mod on the front of the rockets
I wonder if you could use a gun in the nose of it, and somehow trigger it once the range is low enough (to simulate an explosive).

Using the scripted parts power combiner and reverser you can do one bearing that goes in both directions

If you put a few sensors on a rocket and added explosives to activate them, that would work the simplest.

You should put a gun infront of that Missile by building around the thruster or make your plane an AI to fight you. I think the chance its gonna hit you is very low, if you arent going slow.
btw the missile looks like a Broom from Harry Potter. A Game of Quiddich.

You could attach a sensor and a gun to the rocket so it can shoot you once it hits
Have a flack gun on the misile on a senser on 1 block so when it gets in 1 block it soots and braks a block
Make a self driving taxi that drives where ever u are (and u have like a couple of programs to tell it where to go)
The dogs spuds did hit your plane wings, I guess the cardboard wings are no longer destructible
Make a vehicle that starts in your base, finds you and flys to your location on request. You‘d be like Iron man!
I would suggest using a flack ai with a potato gun tucked inside of each missile and if needed use a sensor or something that way when they hit they shoot off the explosive potato so it seems like it explodes on contact

Try putting the saws from the Sharp Stuff mod on the rockets, so when they hit you they shred your vehicle.
EDIT: As far as I am aware, the saws only break stuff at high velocities, so mabe you won't even have to spin them.

You should build a timer powered car that you can charge. I assume you will need to use pistons instead of engines.
For a challenge you could do a 2v2 on planes with a pilot and a tailgunner
You could like try and make a Quidditch recreation with these.

There is a spud tnt block you could try to attach that's on the workshop but it likes to crash the game when it destroys scripted blocks.

You should make a challenge for multiplayer Monday where each player has to make a cargo plane and they have to store cargo in the cargo plane and get airborne without getting hit or loosing altitude. You can make a military base and plant a bunch of ai spud guns and ai missiles to take down the cargo plane
Or a challenge to diffuse the missile! There’s a missile about to launch about to destroy the world! And you have to diffuse the missile, the world rests in your hands, one wrong move can effect billions!!!
I've taken the test plane and developed it so it has several features.
kan I think a flaw in your missile I downloaded it and them it the skybox and them went miles in the distance and underground and etc so can you make so it hits you and you can actually use it

I made one of these and put a spud mini gun block from the fun and gun with a sensor on the front if it and the spud goes through it
You should put an auto turret ai on your ai blimp!!
The problem with the ai is that it takes your speed and it takes the direction your player is facing.
It doesn't matter if the player is actually moving that direction.
make a big slow flying rocket powered by one ai and have a turret mounted on the tip controlled by another ai
