Alot of them were definitely nice I just bought a 1899 micro o Vam-5 Top 100 XF45 the other day I also have a 1881-s ms63 with redish top Toning got few week's go they are very luster looking...
Thank you for this great unboxing video. I got one of the PCGS 35th Anniversary coins with one of my submissions a month or so ago. I figured that I’d sell it, but the design features have actually grown on me.
I love unboxing videos like this. I’ve watched a lot of these PCGS submissions videos. It’s crazy how many times I’ve seen people just absolutely dumbfounded by the grades though… I guess most of the time they’re consistent and people get about what they expected. But sometimes… It really makes you wonder who they have working at that place. Overall I think you did well on this one Rob. And like you said, it sure is a lot of fun.
For the two cleaned ones, they must have seen some micro hairline scratches in the fields, usually the telltale sign, irritating nonetheless, and certainly on camera im not seeing any sign of cleaning on the 80s whatsoever, would love to hear your thoughts after a detailed scrutinisation. saying all that, the 87 toned would be my pick of the bunch, thats a wonderful coin with all the eye appeal
I had an 1882 Morgan, an 1886 Morgan, and a 1922 peace silver dollar. I say had, because I traded for a large black powder cannon. I do miss them, but none were as shiny as yours. Great collection
Outstanding reveling. The copper token is V.I.P. thank you, not everyone gets those. At least the cleaned are not TOOL cleaned. So a Residue was picked up in the coin contour causing relief of the luster. This could be; dipped in jewelry cleaner, washed with soap, toothpaste, or baking soda. Sometimes polyvinychloride will make a coin look cleaned. Graders look for cartwheel luster, which indicates a non cleaned coin.
PCGS seems to be all over the place. Glad to see at least some the submissions came back in your favor. I saw they were running the special for the Commemorative Coin - it's very cool :)
Pretty sweet to get the bonus PCGS 35th Anniversary Medal! They've been adding those to some of the orders going out in the last couple of months as a nice gift!
The metal slab from PCGS was the last quarterly special. You had to submit 10 or more coins to get it. I should be getting mine in a week or so from PCGS & I'm hoping to get the slab also!!!
I don't know if you can see it when you were filming but on the 2 cleaned coins when you spun them there were a couple of small spots where the luster changed. Small dull spots. Might be why they called them cleaned. I have never cleaned coins but I have cleaned silver jewelry. The spot kinda looked similar to when a qtip is used to clean jewelry to get out a scratch before using a finishing compound to shine.
Idk too me it seems PCGS can be all over the place on there grades at time's.. half my slabbed collection is Anac's there the oldest grading company and I like them...
My beautiful coin has a big scratch on the pcgs holder obscuring the coin. Would you be concerned with possible damage during a reholder submission or do they have a safe way of cracking em out?
Awesome video! I love the PCGS reveals! There is no way that one Morgan was cleaned. I think the grader sneezed and checked the wrong box on the grading form. Getting the cleaned designation is always a bummer even if you suspect the coin is cleaned anyway. I have a “harshly” cleaned, UNC detail trade dollar from PCGS. I knew it was cleaned before I submitted it; but I wanted to make sure it was genuine. It still hurts though lol.
Pardon my ignorance, but when they grade a coin do they give you a report on what they saw? Or do they just leave you with "cleaned" and you have to guess what they see?
PCGS unboxings always have a few pleasant surprizes and a few unexpected ones. Nice copper bonus round. Sorry about the cleaned grades. Real quick, what is a rattler Morgan?
Love the content Rob! I’m into getting coins graded, I want to collect mint state Morgan’s but I don’t know how to get good quality submission worthy coins at good prices, I fear that I’d get a bunch of cleaned coins and might be better off just buying the graded slabbed coins. Rob what about making a video guide.. best ways to collect Morgan’s the RFT guide
That 1880-S really hurts but you got some really nice upgrades overall I think its a fairly good unboxing. Would be really interested in seeing a video where you go over "cleaned" coins to show the viewers how to spot them, and to try and figure out the cleaned ones you missed when you submitted them for grading.
beautiful coins ... question - by submitting you're owe raw coins. how much savings do you think you get vs buying the coins already graded at a show. I understand that is fun and risk. I haven't gotten into grading. I call myself a pokemon collect, I want to catch them all. My goals have been to complete sets, but not yet the highest grade. I love your videos, you do a great job with teaching but also making it fun. Thanks again.
ROB CAN YOU SHOW US HOW DO THEY KNOW ITS CLEANED. DO THEY USE A CHEMICAL READER OR WHAT DO THEY USE TO CHECK IF ITS BEEN CLEANED. CAN YOU CONTACT PCGS AND FIND OUT. THAT COIN DID NOT LOOKED CLEANED
It's a great company too. 3rd bets in my opinion for resale values but also does a good job recognizing varieties designated by Wexlers and even on cleaned coins will place a "grade"
@@RobFindsTreasure Thank you, sir. I appreciate your opinion. The wife and I love your channel, and I am learning quite a lot. We wish you and your good lady much good fortune for the coming year.

I've got a submission at PCGS and this video is just what I need. It gives me something to scratch that itch while I wait on my grades lol
Haha same here! The wait is almost unbearable!
@@treasurehog you're not kidding. My submission has been on "grading" for 5 weeks now. I just want to see my True Views if anything lol

Thank you for this great unboxing video. I got one of the PCGS 35th Anniversary coins with one of my submissions a month or so ago. I figured that I’d sell it, but the design features have actually grown on me.
I really like the 35th anniversary holders.
Not a bad submission. Congrats on the 65! That’s always nice

Wow great looking Coins regardless of the grades n that bonus slab they sent you is awesome looking

Wow congrats and awesome Morgan's collection of slabs Wow
This was really fun to watch! Nice upgrades. Not sure what makes them think that 1880s was cleaned. It looked legit to me
Thanks brother. Yeah, I’m still baffled by that one tbh.
That birds eye view was a purdy sight.!
Great video again brother!some nice coins
Yes! Another pcgs submission video!
My favorite segment!!! Thank you Rob!!!
Not bad! Thanks for the video!

Love that 87. Toners are my favorite
Some beautiful beautiful coins there rob!
Awesome results! It never fails that a head scratcher seem to end up in every submission.
Congrats on the upgrades! I’m with you, not sure what they saw on that second ungradeable…. That thing looked great to me! Enjoyed the video Rob!
Beautiful coins!

Hey Rob! Found a 1932 S Washington Quarter in the Junk Silver bin at my lcs!
Man i do love Morgan's. Them some beautiful coins.
Congrats on the upgrades Rob, those are some stunners, that 2nd coin they said was cleaned looked perfect, don't know what they saw on that one 👍
I’m not the biggest fan of graded coins. But I love when you do these unboxings and that 1887 Morgan is beautiful.
Awesome video. Great additions to your collection. Congrats
Love these vids!! Been watching since 2019. Love ur vids! Keep it up dude hope you and ur family is well!
Thank you brother!
love your grading videos
Do you ever crack them open to resubmit ?
Can you dispute a grade ?
I don't know if you can see it when you were filming but on the 2 cleaned coins when you spun them there were a couple of small spots where the luster changed. Small dull spots. Nice session 👌
Crossed over two NGC MS 63's to PCGS hoping to get a variety but just the same got a straight cross over.
I keep looking for one of those 35th anniversary medals sample slabs congrats! Some beautiful Morgans Rob!
What does the “cleaned” designation mean for overall value? Do they have any value over just silver melt?
I think the PCGS MS 63 would replace the NGC 64 I’ve always thought NGC graded just a little higher then normal
Idk too me it seems PCGS can be all over the place on there grades at time's.. half my slabbed collection is Anac's there the oldest grading company and I like them...
You should resubmitt the last cleaned one and see if it comes as cleaned again just to see how consistent they are!
Beautiful coins Rob 👍
My beautiful coin has a big scratch on the pcgs holder obscuring the coin. Would you be concerned with possible damage during a reholder submission or do they have a safe way of cracking em out?
They can do it no problemo!
You should crack out that “cleaned” Morgan and send it in again. Crazy.
What have you got in the works for the gardening channel for 2022?
Nice video , I know you were disappointed on some of those grades, but awesome coins non the less, stay safe and healthy!!
Awesome video! I love the PCGS reveals! There is no way that one Morgan was cleaned. I think the grader sneezed and checked the wrong box on the grading form. I knew it was cleaned before I submitted it; but I wanted to make sure it was genuine. It still hurts though lol.
I really like these unboxing videos. I wish I could afford to grade some of my own coins.
I wonder..At PCGS does an individual decide what grade to give each coin or does a team collaborate to reach a decision?
This was such a fun video
Pardon my ignorance, but when they grade a coin do they give you a report on what they saw? Or do they just leave you with "cleaned" and you have to guess what they see?
Overall great investment!
Watching 👀
I don't agree with the AU's, but what can ya do? PCGS is the boss!

Hey Rob, just out of curiosity, what is your opinion of ANAC as far as grading company's go?
It's a great company too. 3rd bets in my opinion for resale values but also does a good job recognizing varieties designated by Wexlers and even on cleaned coins will place a "grade"

Varies by year and value, but typically $22-$35 each.
