  • OpenTX can be very confusing and intimidating at first because it's such a different way to approach computerized RC radio programming. Not hard, just different. Input, mix, output.
I, like many was totally lost with my first introduction to OpenTX. I didn't have a clue what I had just signed up for; and honestly, I almost gave up.
Thankfully I didn't, and after almost two weeks of fumbling the football in the dark, I eventually found a few great recourses that helped so much with my OpenTX learning curve.
I want to share that info in this video to hopefully help a few folks out.
If you are contemplating getting an RC radio with OpenTX, this video and these resources should also help you decide if getting an OpenTX transmitter might not be the best choice. After all, not everyone likes OpenTX. Better to find that out by watching an 11 minute video & visiting a couple websites than after tossing a couple hundred greenbacks away on a hair pulling exercise.
I'm not trying to scare anyone away from OpenTX. I personally love the power & versatility it offers. I can't even imagine going back to a more traditional computerized RC radio layout. I just want to save you from what I went through; it would have made my first introduction to OpenTX enjoyable and not nearly as frustrating.
