What version of Outlook are you using here? I have windows 10 outlook and the interface is completely different. The dropdown automatic suggestion box does not have a delete "x" after the addresses. And I cannot delete wrong addresses.I
If the version of Outlook you have doesn't show an 'x' beside the incorrect email address, don't worry, just make sure the email address you want to delete is highlighted (mine was blue) and press the delete key on your keyboard.... That worked for me anyway... Hope that helps...

Sorry, what? Do you mean delete the contact information? You can go to Contacts and do that! Or do you mean delete the email itself? Just delete the email.

Thanks you solved my problem. For others, you do need to save the email after deleting the invalid entry.

Another way to delete wrong address: Open windows Flag, select Mail and open accounts, type and delete
