I am currently going through KLLM at the Jackson academy. I absolutely love how they do their training. I cant wait to get out on the road. Hope you have an amazing day!
Awesome and thanks again for the support and watching another video. Keep me posted on the progress. I think KLLM is a great place to get your feet wet. I have had nothing but a good experience. Of course, there are some bumps in the road, but those are everywhere. Overall, great choice I think.
Yes. Just temporary for a bit. They are trying to slow the amount of graduates as we do not currently have enough trucks as well as slowing down for a season until freight returns on the upslope.
@@tybanks23 Gotcha. I misunderstood the question. My apologies. No. We do not get any extra compensation for washouts. It's just included in your deadhead miles.
Yes it it true. It dropped to .55 to start. Down .05. Don't know how long, but still above a few companies. Things are tight right now, but money can still be made.
trucking did not do my marriage or my kids any good. if you have young kids at home i would think twice before getting into trucking (OTR) even a solid relationship will suffer. later in my career when it was just me and my dog it was a lot easier.

Awesome! Yeah, I had a blast in training. Good luck and see you out there soon!
Clicked wondering what it was like to work for kllm. Got 20 minutes of this guy talking about his morning walk and what he ate for breakfast
@@jaybartgis5148 yup part of trucking and creating videos. Other videos have good info. Thanks for stopping by!
Great video! Thank you!
Appreciate your comment and the support!
I agree with you on that brother something my fat ass needs to do more on a regular basis
I thought Kllm was Teams.
What do you get paid for that washout time?
And why don’t they have an account with Blue beacon like we do at Koch
They have teams at KLLM, but it's mostly solo OTR. They do have an account at Blue Beacon. Unfortunately, no pay for wash out. Thanks for stopping by.
Hello! I’m currently in CDL school and looking at different companies. Is KLLM a good place to start in your opinion?

Nice video again. Is your truck automatic or manual?
It's an automatic. Thanks for stopping by.
Was hoping for some solid information on KLLM in reference to the title of the video. Instead, we got a “LoOk WhAt I hAvE fOr BrEaKfAsT” vlog.
Yeah, but it was a really good breakfast.... Hope you found some of the other videos helpful. Thanks for stopping by.
Did KLLM
close Lancaster accadamy?
Yes. Just temporary for a bit. They are trying to slow the amount of graduates as we do not currently have enough trucks as well as slowing down for a season until freight returns on the upslope.
KLLM needs a camera facing the drivers
Do you get paid for each wash out
Most places have an account. You don't pay. Only a handful of out of pocket washes happen. They reimburse you on the following settlement.
@@stevesliff I didn’t know if you got paid to do them I know some companies pay the drivers like 10 or 20 dollars for there time

How long do you think the Lancaster location will be closed? I love close by & was going to apply to that location
I haven't really heard. I would imagine not too long, but a recruiter may know. I will poke around and see if I can hear anything.
Are you a company driver or lease purchase?
I drive company. Exploring leasing options. KLLM has leases on hold at the moment as well.
Is true that KLLM just dropped the CPM ? Than you

Totally understand and sorry brother. It takes a commitment from all parties involved definitely. Thanks for the comment.
