- A 1 year review of trucking with KLLM as a company driver on the Midwest Regional account.
Overall I am very satisfied with my experience here and plan to stick around here as long as I am a company driver.
I put everything I could think of in this video but if there are any questions or such, leave a comment and I will try to answer them there.

Do they hire out of Florida ?
Dylan. could you explain what a recap is? I’ve heard this term many times in trucking but I just don’t understand it
Dont get in to trucking so u dont have to worry about it
Interesting facts Thanks for sharing your experience! Roll safe out there!
Do you think I can get regional straight out of training? I’m going through the Cdl school with them.
I think it depends on availability. I went straight to it after my orientation.
How does KLLM differ from their sister company FFE?
From what I have seen, the pay is a bit lower with them but they might get stop pay or something since most of the loads there are LTL. Otherwise its the same equipment and they have alot of terminals as well but can use the KLLM ones as well.
How did u gross for the year on your final paycheck?
Came out to 71k but as you can tell I do not run that hard but I am still content.
Thats a good number… I think I can be content with that. Especially saying u do not run that hard. I’ve been back n forth on starting there for a while…. Today I snapped at my current job. Supposed to start academy February 15th. Very nervous about my decision.
Ah I gotcha, which one will you be going to? But I am glad you feel content, it should hopefully work out. What account will you be on?
@@DylanLear not sure yet. I’m thinking OTR so I can get the paid time off. Stay out 3 weeks at a time… but after watching your vid I might reconsider the regional. I’m out of Columbus OH. Where’s home base for u?
I gotcha, I heard they recently got a guarantee pay position running out of columbus (I assume the Kraft DC in Groveport) so that could be a good option for you. My terminal is in Burns Harbor In, but home for me is Louisville Ky, so I rarely pass by the house during my weeks out.
Great video
Do you know if they have hubs in New Jersey to do a reset?
They have a FFE relay hub in Burlington NJ. I don't think it has showers but it has a lounge and I believe I saw a van there to use as well. No issues from taking breaks there from my experience, its on my list of safe free spots to park as a company driver
Thanks Dylan
