Drove for KLLM in 1995-97 Truck 13520. I enjoyed it but wished I went with C.R. England because their drivers routinely got coast to coast runs, I rarely did, they kept me from Texas to the East coast. They gave me my start. I averaged 2200-2500 miles.

It looks like they have a school in Indiana. So that means I can drive there and bring my own groceries to eat like cans of soup and etc. Do they have laundry machines and do they cost.
That's smart, and that's good. And as far as laundry, it costs at the hotel, but if you go to the drivers lounge (if you're brave enough to just go there, they won't question it but you might be nervous) the laundry is free.
So what if I stay in Cleveland what happens when I’m done with schooling and after the 6weeks so they have stations in other states like how does it work

@@bigsmoothtruckin but if you’re fired for it because the company you work for gave you a random hair follicle, along side a urinalysis, it can go in your DAC report. That would make a driver unemployable to many(not all) companies
That I'm not sure. I think it depends on the area to be honest. I'd call and check, but most people say they want you to have at least 3 months experience if you already have your CDL

I have two misdemeanors one dating more than 5 years and the other one dating more than 3 years. The recruiter was going to process my paper work and give me a call back in after the weekend to confirm. I’m praying that I’m good to go. I’ve changed a lot for the better
What if you have high blood pressure and or a diabetic, but it can be controlled by medicine how does that work if you were going to one of the schools or going straight into the company from another trucking school can you do a video on it
Honestly, I don't know too much about how that works, but I believe it all depends on how bad it is and how each company handles it. I don't think there's a set in stone law or anything
Here's a tip for all you folks thinking about becoming professional commercial truck drivers. Stop using drugs and get your lives together. The trucking trade can be very lucrative for you and your family. It can raise you out of poverty and into a better life. That is 20 times more valuable than the so called sacrifice of not being able to get high anymore!!! It is a no brainer. Driving a heavy vehicle on major highways/roadways is a major responsibility and privilege. Respect your life and the lives of other drivers on the road. God bless.

I didn't know what you meant by your last sentence, lol. But it goes back 3 months, yes, but I recommend people waiting 6 months and using new hair growth. And as far as second-hand smoke, I don't think so. My whole family smokes, I'm the only one that didn't. You should be good there, sis.
@SincerelyKamryn Ohhhhh, I'm so sorry, I read break test and drug test😭yea. Make sure the one you found is a KLLM one. The tug test is simple, but the air break test is slightly different per company, and you have to get 100% on that. So you don't want to create a bad habit. 🙏🏽
@@Mrmr2489candy If you're asking what I think you're asking, you usually sleep in the truck. You don't get your own truck until you upgrade so you'll stay in the hotel and get back and forth to school with the schools van, and once you get your own truck you can park anywhere trucks are allowed and sleep there inside the truck. If I didn't answer your question, I apologize. If I didn't answer correctly try and reword it a little. I hope this helps🙏🏽🙏🏽
I'm not sure, each company is different when it comes to certain medications, but I believe if it makes you sleepy, it's a no-go because that's dangerous. But you'd have to ask the company to be certain
To be honest I'm not sure what the bottom bed is but you can for sure fit two adults on it, the top bed is for sure a twin or the smallest type of bed. I'm not too familiar with bed sizes. It's about 40 inches across when I measured though
That's actually a good question, I'm not entirely sure. I'd suggest, call the kllm terminal (doesn't matter which one) and ask to speak to the operator and then ask her, she should know that answer. I hope this helps🙏🏽
Yea. I'd personally wait. I have a feeling they don't because the hair is mostly for class (students), but like I said, I would wait to be on the safe side of things.

Typically it only goes back 90 days but it's recommended to wait 6 months to be sure because you never know. But if you fail its so much harder to just "try again" so better safe than sorry lol. But yea, technology is crazy nowadays.

Usually KLLM pays for it, both KLLM and FFE. It would help if you had the permit already, though.

Clearinghouse can’t see hair follicle test. They can only see a failed urinal test or oral

Texas is perfect. Google "KLLM near me" and call that number and speak to a recruiter. Thats a great location to be out of.
They cannot use hair testing for dot test. They HAVE to test urine for the DOT test.
Urine for DOT yea, but they can and will do hair test to be hired with KLLM
