It should be highlighted that the policeman you spoke to a couple of times was absolutely marvellous. He was friendly, kind, decent and non-njudgemental, and I doubt anyone has failed to notice what a kind man he is. Well done to him, as he is so decent if I saw him struggling alone with an assailant I wouldn't think twice about diving in and helping. Hopefully every viewer feels the same. We have to take care of our decent coppers, and show them how appreciated they are.
So glad you saw the same thing I did from this officer. These day are trying, & must be putting the strength of a person to become a police officer, The Book of law must look and sound like being in the middle of a Tornado, And you're the only one not spinning.
I have had two bad experiences with Police. So I don't trust any of them. I respect them. I don't assume they are bad. But I don't know them. The fact they are a Police officer doesn't automatically win my trust anymore. Sad really.
Nice and polite officer, was pleasant and answered your questions where he could, he had no paranoia about you being near the police car either 👍 for him.
Great you got close and for once the officer appeared respectful and spoke to you decently which appears quite honestly not on many occasions so this was quite refreshing hope he stays that way great interaction and you always give great content
love the respect your followers show to the good cops and yourself with the great videos your posting DJ pls sir don't change your doing a great job ... also m8 love the drone footages
Another very interesting video. Normally we would not see all that (maybe sat stuck in the traffic waiting for road to be opened😁. Hope no-one was hurt. Well done and thanks DJ.
I remember visually seeing some one the ground and i thought it would be safe but obviously just any oil what so ever can do some serious damage and i ended in a&e with a broken leg Was always told by instructors and that to always avoid at all costs, found out wby then lol
If I am not 100% mistaken, dad was a firefighter for 30yrs, and I believe the power not only encompasses an absorption factor, but also adds a 'non-flammable' ingredient to the mix.
I would say other way round. BMW pulled out of junction where white car is. White car spun on impact. Fairly big impact so for white car to be that close/behind impact area means it couldn't have been travelling in the direction its facing. Great Vid. Cool Cop.
It's 100% an RTC. Used to be an RTA, but that indicated an accident. But the law was amended as accidents can be avoided and usually, someone is to blame in a collision.
Kitty litter good for cleaning up spills too 🐱🐯 Works good under your tires if stuck in ice , handy to keep in the car during winter ( preferably unused) 😉
Great video my friend. I like your fearless approach to the people on scene, armed with your knowledge of the law. It takes some guts to do on your own when you know most Joe public, including the police, Have no idea of filming in public,is totally legal. Great video 🇬🇧🇬🇧💡👍👍
Another CrAcKiNg video my good man, informative, light, interesting, funny. You’ve won the internet yet again. I may not have a girlfriend, yet I’m left feeling oddly and entirely satisfied after every upload. DJ, congratulations on your growth, as an utterly entertaining auditor 💪😍
If only this lovely police man could inspire others to be like him. I think police training doesn't cover the need to be humble and accountable to the public. Too many go into it because they think they can lord it over people.
Looking at layout and damage I'd say white cut corner pulling out to go towards unmarked car and BMW doing his thing driving down towards to marked car. If the white car had been cutting corner I'd say it come off the side road and not round the main bend to the road As for what I'd call it is RTI instead of RTC as anything could have happened. RTA implies someone is to blame not something out of their control like something breaking (e.g. engine failure) there doesn't need to be a collision for something to have happened. Mr PC done a very good job
A few references to cat litter, we used to import something similar from Germany it was better known as "Fullers Earth", we delivered it to BASF. I think was in the Manchester area in the 70's.
Great informative video again DJ, well done. A smooth operation completed professionally and effectively, and some great extremely professional interactions also, well done to all 👏👏👏 reassuring to see 🙂.
I used to drive a recovery truck and it was called a RTC to me and i'd have put the white Peugeot on spec lift to has easier to get off at other end if you have no help.
Not sure it makes a difference, one car can still collide with a person or object. Besides I think the reason for the change from A to C was because _accident_ implies no fault on anyone's part. If a careless driver collides with a lamppost...it's no accident! Though I did note you said 'where appropriate', I just don't think 'from the get go' we should 'assume' any collision is an accident...
There is two types one is a moss based product and the other is a granule. The one used here we called dry dressing. It turns red which is awkward in the event of a fatality.
Dj check out to plod or not to plods video from yesterday. The knife amnesty box which is located outside had been knocked/fell over. I thought it was dangerous as any items that may have shifted to the top during the fall would be easily accessible.
With these type of impacts you get fuel, brake fluid, coolant with anti freeze and even air conditioning gas leaking as well as engine and other oils and the council are responsible for the highway and this means safety for other road users.
At the very end a car is wanting to turn right and has to wait probably about 20 minutes until the oncoming traffic passes, while those behind him seethe with rage. 😆
I would say it's the fault of the white Suzuki not giving way. The BMW might have been at speed, but the Suzuki driver had more than enough opportunity to see the car given the road condition. That the white Suzuki was not on the right side of the road before the give way seems to indicate it was cutting the corner at speed.
@@trickyfocus I see this a lot, drivers using their indicator to indicate that they are parking... Often at corner shops, but they won't turn the corner, they indicate left, go straight past the turn, then park. Almost cycled Infront of one the first time I saw it. Now I know not to trust indicators
1:40. There is something not quite right, because if the white car pulled out on the BMW the damage would be on the off side of the white car, yet the damage is on the nearside. I can't work it out.
The rear lift is called a 'spectacle' lift or spec . the AA refer to them as underlift. The towing eye is notoriously unreliable when recovering vehicles.
I think you will find the absorbant is made from coconut. No reason for the council to park on the pavement. Would agree that the white car was better off on the lorry bed, front wheels in good condition on the BM as apposed to the white car wheel and suspension damaged. Also, why not it turn ignition off on the white car or disconect the battery?
Wouldn't be surprised if the arch lining of the white car fell off on the way to the location, given it was left hanging off the car and dragging the ground...
They aren't supposed to call it a road traffic accident because that assumes that it was an accident. It is rtc as that fully describes the event without conjecture.
decent video compared to others. educational. only thing I would say is to potentially be careful getting too close / stepping into scenes of accidents incase it interferes with evidence that needs to be collected etc but I dont think you stepped in any of the magic sand in this one anyway. interesting undercover car
DJ I like your video’s very informative and educational and non confrontational, however one thing I’ve noticed that you do when visiting police station is you show the face of people of the public in the waiting area’s I know it’s legal and you’re doing nothing wrong but I think it would be better to blur out there faces, for example it could be someone reporting a crime discreetly and the person/people could see your video and put 2 and 2 together, just a suggestion as I said I really like your videos in general.
@@DJAUDITS I believe the issue revolved around either Essex Police or Fire Service making a claim for costs against a driver, the drivers legal team successfully argued that their client was not at fault as the police /fire service defined the case as an accident. the judge agreed. thus the rise of Collisions/Incidents/Accident. did you notice the windscreen wipers still working
We use a powder at work for diesel and oil spills that looks identical to this and it's made from coconut husk. The one we sell is called isol8.
Interesting video they were using absorbent granules to soak up the oil /fuel .
There are a lot of these granules that are only suitable for oil,/ fuel and not for water..

Constable 👮♂️ and the recovery driver pleasant guys .
When I was in the fire service we used/carried a product called ‘absorbit’ to soak up fuels, oils and milk!

why is the white car on the wrong side of the road ? i have been driving for more than 40 years and i notice the standard is getting worse every year

It's definitely the black cars fault looking at where the damage is, the white car was on the main road when the black car pulled out in front.

RTC been that terminology for 30 plus years. The use of the word accident was challenged in court in the 1980/90's in regard to liability.
