Also, have any of you noticed that pretty much all the ICE car companies have trouble keeping oil from leaking from older cars. Evs are running on short life. Never going to be a long term purchase. With hydrogen engines now on the strting blocs. Whose stupid enough to waste time studying repair and maintenance education.
Taking car dealers, used car dealers in particular, out of a car sale/purchase equation is a HUGE positive, I would think! As a relatively early Tesla Model 3 adopter, my personal experience is 100% positive. I expected an “early adopter” price drop penalty, but surprisingly, it seems no worse than my previous 6 cylinder diesel SUV. The somewhat prevailing view on this vlog, that “I wouldn’t drive an EV even if I got it for free” is, to my mind, a symptom of collective stupidity driven group think. And yes, this vlogs cohort likes to turn this argument on its head, but really, boys, if you have never owned an EV, your credibility is seriously compromised…
On my second tesla. Headed back to ICE next time. Repair cost and resale erode any gas savings. Do not do it. This is coming from a tesla owner. If you have to do an ev, then do a Tesla. Every one else is way behind tesla.
What utter nonsense! How much are you being paid by the legacy car makers? I have had a Tesla for many years.... Everything you have stated is absolutely false for a Tesla.
There is no question, you are working for fossil fuel companies. I have owned EVs and gas cars, bot for the last 9 years. Your information is false. My EV is 10 times cheaper to maintain and kept charges vs. my gas SUV. Statistics prove you wrong on every issue.

I own an EV in Michigan. Using a meter on the side of my home , dedicated to my charger , my bill is $0.12 per KWhr. That translates to $4.45 to $6.50 a charge for my 100kw battery. How many times do you expect people to watch the same video over and over?
So is it a fire 🔥 sale 🤣
Charges up in 18 mins......then back to playing combustion roulette , at least sane people stayed away from the krap things.
I can tell by your comment you are very sane!
@@ronz7046 saner the those who bought those dodgy krap things...for sure
Accelerate your throwaway cars. No thanks
Very informative, thanks !
All EV drives the same regardless of brand. They are only competing on software and looks.
Yeah, but at least they get 25 miles/Congolese.
And starmer still wants to force this junk on us!!!
That f*cking starter!
That f*cking junk!
It sure looks like EVs are problematic and costly in many ways, but at least this is one problem that's easy to avoid for the time being.
Thank you for naming all those made up problems!
I didn't. Read again.
@@patrickchubey3127 What did I miss problematic means many problems , and costly ,that you didn’t list!
You said that I named " made up " problems. I didn't. If you don't understand that, don't worry, just move on.
@@patrickchubey3127 naan I’m not going to do that ,just name the FN problems or be gone !
Cos they're shid 😅
You have been making the same video for several months. All very valid points, but you're just repeating the same thing over and over. I'm out.
Change it to pre owned.
the reason why they pushing ev is you will forevery keep buying them its a new industry hence the carbon bs tax
When this hoo haa is over with EVs, people will look back at dieselgate realising that was a walk in the park in comparison.
I wouldn't touch an EV with a barge pole. I have no interest, let alone faith,in a vehicle so full of bloody stupid electronic crap which can quit or cause issues at any time. I want something cheap and easy to fix,not a potential financial nightmare.
Did you come from the past, ICE easy to fix 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🥲
Hard to avoid the conclusion that this contributer believes his UTube niche is carrying the banner for The Fossil fuel lobby,
The Tesla model Y was the best selling car in the world last year even outselliing Toyota Corolla that costs 50%less. Just for those that didn't know they are not going away. Not everyone loves them but it would be nice for some to drop the unnecessary hate to people that want to try one and have an open mind.
I do agree gas vehicles should still continue to exist and not be killed off.
Yes, fleet buyers, except even they are getting cold feet. Example, Hertz getting rid of their Teslas....
I used to be a hater but I’ve done my homework. I don’t want one to “ save the planet “ that’s big ole lie because they don’t . For those haters, do you use lithium batteries for your power tools? What do you do with them when they don’t hold a charge? I bet you throw them away.
Just recently Tesla sales have gone down.Tesla has never outsold Toyota
Tesla is a control freak company they won’t let you work on your own car
@@davidmann4533Yes have to agree there is no way they out sold Toyota
My name is Donald J Trump and I endorse this message.
LOL
I got nothing but abuse from people who knew nothing about cars in general.i. Could see most the problems with ev cars. From mileage to fire hazards ect. But u can’t fix stupidity people still buying them.just look at the man got in a lift wit scooter batterie .he and lift burned to a crisp.once u look good and hav latest thing. It’s always better lol
Mina bilar börjar stiga i värde 🤭. Men jag kommer inte att sälja.
Evs are running on short life. Never going to be a long term purchase. With hydrogen engines now on the strting blocs. Whose stupid enough to waste time studying repair and maintenance education.
Around 10,000 mechanics in the USA alone? Maybe you might be the stupid one?
Not very educated on hydrogen engines are you ?
Hey let me know where I can buy one...
sucked in ev buyers
Wish knew what that statement meant!
Don't need to to eat shit to know it's no good same thing for EVs
On my second tesla. Headed back to ICE next time. Repair cost and resale erode any gas savings. Do not do it. This is coming from a tesla owner. If you have to do an ev, then do a Tesla. Every one else is way behind tesla.
Don’t buy EV but buy a Tesla but buy ICE, ok thanks
!This is for USA market ..... a little behind the rest of the world as far as EVs are concerned.
Buy a petrol car and in 10 years from now! Who knows! But I wouldn't bet my house on it!
More likely to be able to buy a petrol car in 10 years the turd EV will be gone a thing of the past and a bad experiment.
What utter nonsense! How much are you being paid by the legacy car makers? I have had a Tesla for many years.... Everything you have stated is absolutely false for a Tesla.
I’m betting the money is coming from big oil more so than auto makers .
There is no question, you are working for fossil fuel companies. I have owned EVs and gas cars, bot for the last 9 years. Your information is false. My EV is 10 times cheaper to maintain and kept charges vs. my gas SUV. Statistics prove you wrong on every issue.
There is no question, you are delusional
What about the massive loss in value buy's a lot of petrol and the ICE vehicle is still worth a good deal of money.
Back to Math Class you go
@@highvoltage3479 What doesn't add up for you pay more for an EV lose more money when you go to sell it or buy a performance ICE vehicle and not lose as much or start to go up in value for the right model EVs will never be classic cars just disposable cars like used white goods you need to wake up.
I own an EV in Michigan. Using a meter on the side of my home , dedicated to my charger , my bill is $0.12 per KWhr. That translates to $4.45 to $6.50 a charge for my 100kw battery. My dealership tells me that there is no maintenance schedule needed for my EV. I suppose Tires, windshield wipers, shocks and brakes will need maintenance like an ICE vehicle.
All EVs have gear reduction box oil maintenance. Time to question your dealer
Video pay by big oil companies
It cost me 8 dollars to home charge for 344 miles and no oil changes. The gas and car companies will go bust if EV's are allowed to continue.
You do have oil changes, gear reduction unit and final drive box all need oil and changes. Some even have oil filters. Do your home kid
@@safebatteries8315 Almost every OEM electric vehicle currently produced, including Teslas, BMWs, Rivians, and the Ford Mach E, use a single-speed transmission that provides gear reduction from the EV motor(s) to the driveline or axle. Do your homework, kid.
@@safebatteries8315. That is two gears in oil like a truck rear end so your concern is to keep that oil changed , yes?
@@waynegardella6263 By now you've probably did some Actual research And realized you were Wrong on All counts. If you don't pull reg. maintenance , we'll be seeing you sooner than you think, and you'll be able to see first hand what Real EV machanic already know !! .. Youngster
Buy a Nio and you don’t have to worry
If the whole intention here is to save the environment. The electric car, is never going to make a good used car.Nobody is going to want to buy an old electric car down the road. So where is this vehicle going to end up in, the landfill. I would much rather take a chance on an older gasoline powered car over an electric car.
You do know that is already happening, what cave do you live in I’ll bring you some info!
