I was hoping for better information. The "manual" that comes with the monitor sucks. I can hook up the cables... that's the easy part. You have specific cables that attach in specific ports. My issue is my laptop doesn't "recognize" the monitor. I get constant connect/disconnect sounds from the monitor after turning on the laptop with the monitor hooked up. It is a mirror of my laptop monitor. I can't use it as a second monitor. And when I open the display options, I don't get a second monitor. Also, you don't have to go thru the start menu settings to get to display. If you right click on the desktop, the menu has "display settings" option there, too. Much fewer things to click on.

It turns on when hooked to my phone but not to laptop via hdmi
This is mostly not useful without showing how the cables connect. My monitor came on and went blank. Guess it sucks
