    That looks great! I'm a huge fan of using fatigue mats as foam. Way more sturdy than Kaizen. My first attempts were pretty ugly. I used the white kaisen-style foam they use to pack around flat panel TV's and other delicate electronics. I totally just gave away my age by saying flat-panel tv, as they all are now flat panels of some kind. Anyway it was white so every bit of dirt and dust would collect in the bottom of the tool box.
    If it were my Ridgid box, I'd cut out the battery shapes on that inside lid cover. I do not ever cut my actual boxes, but I slice of dividers, or anything removable, all day long. I can't see it having any other purpose than to keep the storage bins secure

    Nice set up.🤓 , this tool box is underutilized in my system. I have to figure out if I want to use for a set up like this..

      Bro I love these boxes. Tell you the truth the price is good and they are durable. Milwaukee is pricey but they are good too. But for the price I’ll stay with these.

      I use 8 of this exact box daily, and probably 5 or 6 years since new.
      3 of my boxes have the upper liner removed for clearance for larger tools. The liner seals the top of the orange bins when the lid is closed, keeping small parts in place.
      The weather seal still works fine.
      The lid is a little weaker/softer on top, and a little less stiff, but nothing has broken after heavy use. I guess I would sit on one of the lined lids to eat lunch....
      These are a great series of boxes for durability and value....lack some of the bells and whistles of the other brands, but a solid product. They usually go on sale around Farhers Day every year.
      Most all of the other brands (Husky, Dewalt, Craftsman, Milwaukee) are also made by the same company Ketter....the Rigid boxes are sold in Europe with the Ketter name, and blue color instead of orange marking.

      @@muddywater6856 Great comment and feedback. Keter, an Israeli company, seems to absolutely dominate the poly-foam stacking toolbox business! I don't know of one brand of stacking box system that isn't manufactured by them. This includes (I believe) Craftsman's stack, Ridgid's Pro boxes, Milwaukee Packout, DeWalt ToughSystem, Ryobi Link, Husky's box stack, Menards' Mastercraft stack, and probably even Harbor Freight's new box stack. I'm sure there's some others that I'm missing.... it's a crazy list.

    With the ridiculous price that the aeg/ridgid quickstacks have been going up they have just shot themselves in the foot because they have made it so much easier for people to go with milwaukee packout or even dewalt tough system 2.0 now. I wont sick with aeg/ridgid now the price hike is insulting.

    Ridgid can't even come out with drawers.....damn shame.

    • @kmremodelsllc
      @kmremodelsllc  2 года назад +1

      Yes I know that’s why I like the Milwaukee ones. But ridged needs to come out with some drawers.
