Hanging Out With Indira Ghandi in Bikaner 🇮🇳

- Today I'm getting my first experience of taking the night sleeper bus. I'm leaving Amritsar and heading to Bikaner. The thing about these night sleeper buses is that they leave late in the evening and arrive super early in the morning. I arrived at 4 am in a city I'm unfamiliar with and without any hotel reservations. Luckily it wasn't busy and I didn't have to deal with too many people. The first hotel I went to didn't work out but the guy was super helpful and pointed me to a place that would suit me better.
Once I had rested a bit, I got out and explored the city a bit. At first, I thought it wouldn't be that busy of a city but it still was pretty loud and noisy, especially around the railway station. I still was able to catch the pretty cool fort and I also ran into a statue of the third prime minister of India, Indira Gandhi.

India is not for beginners, what do you think?
I agree with that, watching india from news,India known for bunch controversy yet people still coming to explore this holy sacred land, either for enlightment or find something totally different
You have japanese experience which is very fixed 😅 and now India
Dale philip😅
@@aaadin7257I am responding in New Delhi International Airport now and I totally disagree lol. I did a hitchhiking trip from Amritsar to Delhi and I had one of the most amazing experience time ever because strangers not only stop for me, but they would actually make sure I have food with me.
However, getting paid services here (rickshaw, haircut, etc) is a very tricky game to play. These people usually are dishonest and will try to rip you off. You have to be alert when money is involved.
India has a long history of civilization. In ancient trading times, this country was also the main route (Slik Road). Please study about the history of the Punjab people. Now in the Rajasthan area has too many historical places (old cities). India also has too many Geniuses in various fields especially the IT field. We just need to know that in a country with too many people and ideologies, too many problems arise from generation to generation.

You should try to book train tickets in 'Foreign Tourists Quota ' from IRCTC's online site with your valid international passport. Please always go for AC class in trains never general class.

9:45 Are cows in India protected and considered holy animals?
Yes they are
@@NickKTravel So, Indians don't eat beef?
Think of cows in India as like normal street dogs you will find in many countries, like the cats you'll see in turkey everywhere on streets, it's very normal. And yes a lot of people do see them as holy, beef is not legally banned but in 90% of India beef is not eaten just as a social consensus; though there are some places where people eat beef, India is very big and diverse so nothing is fully homogenous here
@@smakartika81it's just like how a lot of people in USA and europe would be averse to idea of eating cats and dogs though it's not legally banned and some people might eat that too, but generally it's not a big socially acceptable thing. It's the same with cows here, and about more than 50% of India is vegetarian anyway
beef is allowed in India. 9 of the 28 states sell cow meat as beef rest of them sell buffalo meat as beef. buffalo meat taste exactly like cow meat.
Judulnya mirip sama bang dale philipe bang nick 😂😂😂
Don't go to dirty slum areas like other youtubers, there are plenty of beautiful tourist places which is unseen to the whole world.i am hoping you have some list of that places,
Finally we see quiet roads in India 😆
You're already in the right province- now move your you-know-what to Jaipur and you'll be the happiest guy on earth: kind people, colourful and tons of history all in one place. Oh and great food and souvenirs for your family.
remember adversity builds character
What is your beef with Indian politicians
Fr just came to jodhpur my town . Literally its so hospital n good tourist spot from years n i swear you would never face those all things really
Don't misguide people jodhpur is worst in rajasthan.
Now you know. East Indies is like the wild west, but still tamer compared to India. Attempting to sleep at an Indian train station.. gutsy move. Lol. Stay safe.
Traveling at night and not getting any sleep has been tough for sure. It def is an eye opener here
East Indies = Indonesia?
East indies😂😂😂😂😂😂
Indra Gandhi married a Muslim guy Fetoze Shah Gandhy about which her father Nehru was not happy . Later for vote bank she changed her surname to Gandhi... This is the main reason why the Congress party in India gets Muslim votes considering the past genetics .
This is different from Indonesia, where the majority of buses use rear engines, in India, even though sleeper buses still use front engines, the sound of the engine is very annoying.
In Volvo and AC busses, there is no engine sound...the cabs are sound proof, but it's the jerks due to the Roads at some places that cause a little hindrance. Still, once you get used to jerks, you won't have any problem sleeping
Challenging isnt it ? 😅
Can be yes lol
Somethings like eating from the roadside should be avoided. Don't go to shady areas along railway tracks, they can be smelly and very unhygienic...., talk to a local friend. In some ways, it is true, India is not for beginners.
