- Double Or Nothing is the finale for Chapter 4 in Need For Speed Payback's campaign. It is the next main story mission after Operation Skyhammer, this time stealing 2 gold plated cars from The House with secret tech. Featuring Hollywood moments, police chases and an unstoppable 18-wheeler.
Played with keyboard and manual transmission.

Love how bombs that have been ticking, for God knows how long, automatically go off when the good guys toss them out the truck
they go off because he reprograms them to blow up
Impact. They got thrown, and impacted with the road. They’d been taped to the car, and you betcha anybody transporting those cars, was careful! I suspect the collector anticipated the cops bashing the cars around enough, to set the bombs off, if the bait was taken.
Those are impact resistant bombs, or maybe he rewired/reporgrammed it quickly
Because the bomb wasn't any difficult to remove, so it might be reprogrammed by rav or it might be a time/impact/sound bomb

The semi at 6:33, and getting to drive it after the cutscene! ❤ Honestly, I was happy on seeing the G63 AMG, but I was even happier on seeing the semi being driven by the player, and listening to its deep rumble! These large hulking diesels should coexist with the supercars in video games to even out the high pitched screams with the low pitched roars.

NFS was never realistic to begin with. Even the older games that everyone likes to give a ton of praise such as Most Wanted 2005, where the front of your car somehow doesn't get completely crumpled up after smashing through a police roadblock.

11:12 - 11:18 I do wonder, how much Weir put on the idea of Tyler walking away with the rush, to be fair. How much did that casino chip risk, when he bet it with the house? $2 Million, at least? Weir mentions Tyler’s odds being 100:1, earlier in the story, and what’s to say the bet wasn’t put down, when the odds were even crazier? so, even if you value the casino at a minimum of $1 Million, the Gambler walks away with $100 Million, when you beat the story! The Collector words, when Navarro is beat, make a lot more sense now.

Night Drivin' Avenger The card system is pretty good in my opinion, I was able to get my ‘65 Mustang to 335 with just trading in cards.
Well if you have those upgrade tokens, it can be fast. My issue is it's a bit RNG and it can be a bit frustrating not getting the brand/perk you want.

Night Drivin' Avenger i have to agree. When I build my car with the brand/perks I feel are good for that car, I'd rather the brands/perks not be random. I don't mind it right now since I'm just using the cars they gave me from the deluxe package but when I buy cars I plan to use for each type of race, I dont want shit to be random. It's gonna get annoying. Very fucking annoying. Especially if RNG isn't on your side. Like you said this is a racing game not a fucking casino/gambling game.
