- The Outlaw's Rush is the final mission, Chapter 5 finale and race for Need For Speed Payback. Includes all cutscenes and ending. This mission has 3 races, 2 race spec and 1 off-road spec races using an "almost" fully upgraded 900hp Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 9 race spec [LV396] and Porsche 911 Carrera RS off-road spec [LV272]. Featuring several drivers and references from Most Wanted 2005, ProStreet and The Run. Played with keyboard and manual transmission.

I like how most of us RUclipsr cats decided to use the Evo in the end. Did not expect that.
I thought many would use supercars like Lambos and Porsches, but so far I think just us 2 used Evo? The rest I'm seeing so far are using Porsche, Regera and Vulcan.
I think it won't be a surprise for off road since the off road spec only like 4 cars can go above 300 level and Evo having rally heritage.
I think I'll try go for the RX-7 but then again, things can go awry.

Good racing, great car control. Good job on 4th gearing 2nd leg of the race. Was a bit surprised to see the evo. Was interesting to see it max out most of the race and hold it.
Ghost really need to fix their difficulty settings. I played it on hard but it felt like it was on difficulty even easier than easy
Thats because drop randomness of Speed Cards-they made it that way because of microtransactions. Difficulty setting doesnt matter here it just probably gives more retarded difficulty spikes on some races/events to make the player buy this shit to progress further since most of people dont play on hard.

At the end, when Lina says You know how much i got on you, on all of you? to the Collector, I think she's referring to the Blacklists in NFSMW05. If you notice, that after this convo, the silver Acura NSX rolls away indicating that the collector must be in that car. Rewind back to the first race.. and you'll see that the character driving a silver Acura NSX ((most probably the same one) was none other than BULL (Toru Sato, Blacklist #2 in NFSMW) [Maybe that same character]? Coincidence? I think not!

Everyone hates on this game but I honestly think the story was handled really well in this game. As much as Unbound is cool, at least this game, and Heat, had more than just Road Races. Theres no Offroad races, drag races at all in Unbound. So many things this game, and Heat got right, just got thrown into the bin with Unbound, all veacuse they wanted to release it too soon

I just completed Payback and during the Outlaws rush I immediately recognized Cooper. NFS Prostreet was one of the first three xbox 360 games I ever owned, and his name was said so many times during the game I could never forget, plus I believe it works because Cooper was mentioned to be a former street racer at the beginning of prostreet, guess he went back to the streets. I tried to remember other references but couldn't think of them. It's nice to see I wasn't wrong in thinking more were references, Bull and Denver. I kinda wish they also had Zephyr as well from Rivals, but those three are cool references none the less.
