I had forgotten that they included some songs from previous NFS' ans when I heard the NFS II main menu song at 5:25 I made a smile from ear to ear. Also, what I really loved from this game (and still do) are the police versions of the cars. While some of them have the traditional police design, others have a really good and incredible designs, like the arrow shaped cop lights bar for some of the fastest units, or the no inclusion of it at all but using some of the chassis' spots for the lights (see the Veyron SS and the Apollo S, for example), and the design of the police skin for some of the units which look really amazing. The game overall still looks and plays awesome and is one of my favorites of the franchise. Btw, if you are racing at Seacrest County and you feel unstoppable, remember that this guys is patrolling around and might ruin your day, so think twice before going nuts on the road.
Amazing game! Probably the last enjoyable NFS game. Stunning graphics, good cinematics, intense gameplay, amazing sound effects different from night and day from sea side to mountains, fun to play online.

The SCPD Koenigsegg CCXR Edition Special Response unit is the only police car in Seacrest County Police Department that doesn't have any SCPD livery or decals because the color of the CCXR Edition unit is dark blue tinted carbon fibre body colour
There is no secret. It’s just the way you go into corners without slamming on the brakes. Most of the time you don’t even have to use the brakes just lift for a short while and go back on the gas/or you can e brake but that’s more than likely to cost time When you drift in corners, depending on how tight or long it is, will determine whether to lightly move the joystick or move it heavily to turn the car fast enough. This goes for Racer and Cop class. Police and Racer nitrous are used differently and imo Cop nitrous is better because it’s short yet so powerful. The long nitrous used for the racer is why we use it off a corner for the speed.
@@GoatedAtNFS That's what I've been doing in terms of letting go of the gas before the corner. What I seem to have trouble with then is taking corners too sharp then. I would consider myself to be really good at the game, I have more then 1,000 hours on the 360 version. After numerous attempts to get along side the racer in Double Cross as seen in the video, I could never do it, so I assumed there was a trick to go faster. Thanks for the advice though, I'll keep practicing.

That would be actually great remastered if they would add actually good features (turn off camera animation, turn off police music while in pursuit, turn off police light etc.)
No the two spikes on Lvl III are an instabust/wreck if you hit both of them at once whilst still spinning from the first one. Regardless of how much health you have left unless your in the veyron 16.4 or the either of the Bentley Continentals. That leaves you with one hit away from bust or wreck. That’s what makes HP2010’s Lvl III spike Strip so terrifying on both Cops and Racers.

The Gumpert Apollo S Cop Variant is as fast as McLaren F1 as well.

They are part of the Super Sports DLC Pack which was only available for consoles.
