The version reviewed here is the graphite version (for both mouse and keyboard). I've called logitech customer service and they explained that Europe only has the graphite version. Went into my local bestbuy with the intent of buying the Logitech K360, made a last second switch to the K800. After two weeks of use, I just returned it today for this one. I’m very much satisfied with this keyboard as I do a lot of coding. For anyone wondering, I use this for my MacBook Air.
Worth every penny especially for creatives and anyone that spends more than a few hours at their computer. Which I pretty much guess includes, everyone! I love mine!
Used this combo for about a year now and they're great, bluetooth is faultless, typing feel is above average even though it's a membrane board and the battery is outstanding. I'm only now upgrading the keyboard to a bluetooth mechanical board because i fancy doing some customising and upping my typing feel and sound.

@@jimutjayadev Literally many coders use 60% keyboards. Just proud gamer boys using full keyboards anymore. For what do you need numpad for? Seriously it has very little use in modern computing environment.
@@teemuvesala9575 Been a coder for 18 years. There is a reason why the keyboard was designed the way it was. And I standby the statement that 60% keyboards are the most uncomfortable things to type on. Especially if you got giant hands like me.
Note: Although the Mac version says it’s only compatible with Mac and iPads, it actually still works with Windows. The top row of Mac specific buttons still function as well, except for the eject and screen capture buttons. If you connect the keyboard through the Logitech Options app, it tells you what they all do for Windows and you can still customize the 2 buttons that don’t initially have a function for Windows.
I have been locking at this for a docking station type scenario; your feature was the best I've watched, hats off to you! I also love the felt pad you're using, may be difficult to acquire it in the UK though. At time of writing the pair are around £200 which is a lot of money - but I rarely change/buy a keyboard, this is probably my second personal purchase of a keyboard!
I spend my day as a software dev pretty much attached to my keyboard. Just got this combination of MX keys & mouse and have to say it is totally worth the money. Hands down the best keyboard I've used...and I've used a lot. My mechanical keyboard was good, but without a wrist rest I felt the strain after 8 hours coding and it was so damn noisy. My windows laptop has a Steel Series keyboard....but it's not a patch on the MX. The keyboard on my M1 Mac isn't half as nice to type on either. The MX is just that good! My only gripe is the price that Logitech want to charge for the unnecessary wrist rest. £20?!?! "Having a larf" springs to mind :)
I've had the MX Keys for a few months, LOVE IT! Just got my first iPad also, and the ability to switch devices with my keyboard instantly has been a game changer for me. Now I want the MX Master 3 because my little iHome $10 mouse can't switch to my iPad like the keyboard.
Speaking from a programing use case, more important than productivity, those provide really good ergonomics. The apple mouse is cool, but this mouse is way cooler and more comfortable. The keyboard also has more travel than apple's not so magical keyboard ;) I switched from them for the logitech pair and it seems like the right choice!
For anyone that is still second-guessing this combo, don't. I, too, have it and it is perfect for everything. Coding also feels nice on the keyboard even though the keys have quite a small travel, so don't worry about it.
I have this exact set. Keyboard feels great, much better then I have on my MacBook Pro 2020. I love everything about this keyboard which I can’t say about mouse. I hate so much when I slightly scroll the wheel, and it does not stop immediately because there are magnet contacts, and I have to put my finger on the wheel to make it stop, I don’t know why nobody is talking about that. Other thing is that I find this mouse pretty inconvenient to use because of it’s ergonomics. I was always using classic mouses and when I got this one I figured out that i need to always keep my thumb straight and under certain angle because of ergonomics and mouse weight. Yes it’s pretty heavy, when I lift the mouse up, it’s back is bumping the table frequently. After 4 month of using rubber skin of the mouse doesn’t look good at all, considering price for the mouse I am disappointed. Yes it looks good, switching from Mac to windows works great, but my finger literally hurts after using this mouse more then 4 hours every day.
Wow, Im stunned by the quality of the video itself, the mic sounds clean, the camera is crisp, the angles are perfect! This is perfection at the same time youre delivering an outstanding review! Thumbs up! May I ask what microphone you're using? :)
MX keys is fantastic and I recommend it for sure. For me it is a combo with MX Master 2S which fits my needs perfectly. Great video, thanks for sharing
The MX Keys is my favorite non-mechanical keyboard. I type so much faster and more accurately since I bought it several months ago. The only improvement would be if it was available in a tenkeyless form factor. Great video, mate!!

How do you swipe / switch between devices if mouse has button at the bottom? Whats the solution here to swipe between devices instantly without rolling the mouse upside down each time?
@@agaaggari8787 With the Logitech Flow software installed you can easily move between devices (once you work out the screen entry/exit points between the devices). It allows me to copy and paste between devices.

I imagine that the MX Master 3 isn't much different apart from a few design changes and some slight improvements but after using the 1 I would happily justify the full price.
Nice review, thanks for sharing! I only bought the Logitech MX Master 3 Mouse two weeks ago and I'm still very happy with it (the best I've ever had)! :)
If you have both the keyboard and mouse connected to 2 sperate computers, and hit the "1", "2", or "3" (F13, F14, F15) on the MX Keys, does the mouse also automatically switch as well?
Btw the option is called Flow once activated you will be able to select how you the switching works. You can simply drag the mouse left / right or use CTRL + Mouse drag. I use the CTRL option since I have just one monitor.
Biggest oversights - MX Master - to change profiles - you have to flip the damn mouse upside down and press the profile change button - compare this to it's less expensive counter part - the Triathalon mouse - this has a better implementation of switching between profiles The keyboard cannot adjust in height - god forbit if someone wants to adjust their height - again the K850 keyboard is a better option. Although the K850 does not have any lights and has a built in wrist rest. I personally love the MK850 - typing on it now. So much so - I have 1 at work and 2 at home. Unless you have a super compelling reason to use the mouse (horizontal scroll wheel) or the keyboard - no wristrest and lights - stick to the MK850.
So basically everything you can do with the mac version of the mx keys you can also do with the mac/windows version. Why would anyone buy the mac restricted version then?
@@SpawnPoiint this is usually my problem. paralysis by analysis. I can't decide between the two. I only use apple products and this would be for my iMac. So, mac version makes sense but i'm not sure about the two tone finish. The multi os system finish looks much better in all black and i wonder whether i'd use it with my work laptop. aghhhhhhhhhh!
I just bought these two for my new school office setup. I love being able to even switch between my Android tablet and laptop. It's going to change the way I'm able to research and report.
I've been using the keyboard for a few months already and I love it, the keystroke feeling is one of a kind, the perfect depth and smoothness. I can't get used to the MX Master 3 mouse ergonomics though, keep using the M510
I have a Craft and MX Master 2 mouse and love them both. The only con is that the battery on the Craft keyboard lasted only three years. I.e. it no longer holds a charge and has to be plugged in all the time. If they had a user-replaceable battery they would be perfect. Overall, I feel these devices are worth the price due to their quality and functionality.
I use this keyboard with a MX Anywhere 2S mouse and it is fantastic. The Flow function allow me to move between devices without even having to press the buttons to switch!
Excellent video. This combo is so convenient I take it into work and connect with Bluetooth immediately. Logitech please put a USB C adapter to make this combo perfect. Absolutely worth the investment as an engineer.
Been using the MX3 mouse for a while now and its great to the point i cant see me ever wanting to change, MX Keys ordered for tomorrow delivery mainly so i can switch between Imac and ipad on same desk and with the useful back lighting. Many thanks for the great vid, happy new year.
Best review out there on these products - I particularly loved that you mentioned which color of mouse you have, cause I couldn't find information anywhere as to what mouse color goes best with the mx keys for windows. So thank you :) :)
The only improvement I could see would be wireless charging for the mouse. I forget to plug things back in often, it would be nice to just slide it to a specific area of a wireless charging mousepad and it always be topped up.
Definitely worth getting them both. Yes, they are indeed very expensive at 200 pounds, but they last for a good long period of time! Good investment I would say!
I've had the Logitech K750 (solar powered) for about 5-6 years now, best keyboard I've ever had. I was hoping they'd do a similar one with backlit keys but I don't think they will.
I just picked up both items for my MacBook/Mac Mini, the best investment I have made and I can also attest that my productivity and output has improved massively. Great video and even though I missed it earlier, the video and and information was sufficient to make me ‘like’ and subscribe to the channel. Looking forward to more……
@@ThatsmeChristian I have the Magic Keyboard, both wired (full size) and wireless, however the ‘Chicklet’ style keys are not conducive to my style of touch typing by slowing my keystrokes (I predominantly use MS Word/Excel) and I have never been able to get used to the ‘feel’ - the Logitech suits my style of use far better.
The MX Keys for Mac does work on Windows just the Windows key and ALT keys aren't dual labeled and flipped from where they are on the MX Keys. The only real difference is that the MX Keys for Mac use the Mac layout vs sharing the Windows layout. It really up to you what will work best for you. (I am typing this on MX Keys for Mac while on Windows.)
I got my combo set after seeing this review. I was moving away from a mechanical keyboard so I was not sure if i will like the MX Keys. But to my surprise, it is actually better for typing than a mechanical keyboard. My typing speed was much faster on MX Keys. Took some time to get used to the short key travel. But it is definitely not for the button smashers, for that... A mechanical keyboard is best.
Today i bought the MX KEys keyboad ... i dont know why i waited so long XD .. its the best keyboard ever .. i use it to switch between my win PC, Ipad AIr 4 and Thinkpad laptop .. no longer 3 keyboards on my desk.. i for sure will buy the mouse too ..
I have the MX Master 3, it's a great mouse. One comment I have about it is I've tried it with both the Unifying receiver and with Bluetooth and I can say it definitely works better with the Unifying receiver. I've confirmed this testing it with multiple PCs. There's less lag, and Flow works more seamlessly. With the USB receiver, flow switches between PCs just about as smoothly as just moving your mouse from one monitor to the other on the same machine. With bluetooth, switching from one machine to another takes about half a second.
And I discovered, to my delight and contrary to what Logitech say, that one may use multiple Unifying receivers with keyboard and mouse. That is, one for each computer up to three in total. It’s not unusual to have additional receivers around and two “come in the box” with the kit 😎

Can you kindly reply to my query as you already have the combo?
just bought this mouse with my keychron keyboard and its amazing
If you have both the keyboard and mouse connected to 2 sperate computers, and hit the "1", "2", or "3" (F13, F14, F15) on the MX Keys, does the mouse also automatically switch as well?
Unfortunately not, you have to turn the mouse over and press that button too. I know, a massive oversight.
No, probably for the best.
Btw the option is called Flow once activated you will be able to select how you the switching works. You can simply drag the mouse left / right or use CTRL + Mouse drag. I use the CTRL option since I have just one monitor.
@@greeneyesman0224 hello! What do you mean by dongle? usb receiver?, thank you
@@RyanMcNeal2 yep, dongle = reciver
Biggest oversights - MX Master - to change profiles - you have to flip the damn mouse upside down and press the profile change button - compare this to it's less expensive counter part - the Triathalon mouse - this has a better implementation of switching between profiles
The keyboard cannot adjust in height - god forbit if someone wants to adjust their height - again the K850 keyboard is a better option.
You just saved me $150 for a new one. Work (CAD drafting) has sucked since my mouse stopped working. This is such a relief. Thanks.
That was a really good video. I'm currently looking at the mac only version (that's if i can find a company with stock!)
Thanks Tim! Yes they seem very difficult to get hold of.
@@SpawnPoiint i say that but have just seen them back on amazon and the mac version is
When does yours arrive 👀😂
@@SpawnPoiint this is usually my problem. paralysis by analysis. I can't decide between the two. I only use apple products and this would be for my iMac. So, mac version makes sense but i'm not sure about the two tone finish. The multi os system finish looks much better in all black and i wonder whether i'd use it with my work laptop. aghhhhhhhhhh!
and my work laptop is windows
I just bought these two for my new school office setup. I love being able to even switch between my Android tablet and laptop. It's going to change the way I'm able to research and report.
5:12 there's a sex tip in there somewhere 😂
You won 😂
I've been using the keyboard for a few months already and I love it, the keystroke feeling is one of a kind, the perfect depth and smoothness. I can't get used to the MX Master 3 mouse ergonomics though, keep using the M510
damn i can listen to that accent all day 😂
haha thank you 🙏
Ordered these today. I’m sure they’ll help out with my work a tonne. Great video
Thank you. They are awesome mate. Love using them everyday.
I have a Craft and MX Master 2 mouse and love them both. The only con is that the battery on the Craft keyboard lasted only three years. I.e. it no longer holds a charge and has to be plugged in all the time. If they had a user-replaceable battery they would be perfect. Overall, I feel these devices are worth the price due to their quality and functionality.
this is the video i am looking for. all my questions were nailed, thank you!
Ah awesome. Thanks for the feedback.
Great video, thanks! Waiting for mine to be delivered, can't wait.
Nice one, I'm still using it now.
Been using the MX3 mouse for a while now and its great to the point i cant see me ever wanting to change, MX Keys ordered for tomorrow delivery mainly so i can switch between Imac and ipad on same desk and with the useful back lighting. Many thanks for the great vid, happy new year.
Thanks David. Same to you.
if you press PC1 on the keyboard, does the mouse automatically also switches? I am curios if my MX Master 3 mouse will also automatically switch.
Best review out there on these products - I particularly loved that you mentioned which color of mouse you have, cause I couldn't find information anywhere as to what mouse color goes best with the mx keys for windows. So thank you :) :)
Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment too.
@@SpawnPoiint Of course! 💗
Definitely agree 🤙
I prefer the Combo of G502 Lightspeed with a G519 Tkl Keyboard and an extra occasional Numbpad on the left side of the keyboard
I've had the Logitech K750 (solar powered) for about 5-6 years now, best keyboard I've ever had. I was hoping they'd do a similar one with backlit keys but I don't think they will.
never thought id hear someone say they want a wooden palm rest!
I was sitting on the fence but you've convinced me. Thank you.
"If you wanna last longer, definitely keep the lights off". Good advice 😂👏
I just picked up both items for my MacBook/Mac Mini, the best investment I have made and I can also attest that my productivity and output has improved massively. Great video and even though I missed it earlier, the video and and information was sufficient to make me ‘like’ and subscribe to the channel. Looking forward to more……
Why do you not use a magic keyboard?
I've used the MX Master mouse now for years, and quite frankly it's the best peripheral I've ever bought.
Awesome video! Logitech MX Keyboards and mouse are great. Performance and reliability is top notch!
Thanks I was on the fence due to the price, but this has sold me. placing my order now.
Great video - still trying to decide between the Keys and Craft but now I know the Keys is a nice option especially with the Master 3 combo.
I have the combo as well, very happy with them. However, I would really like if the products had a simultanies switch feature.
Lovely. Very professional in everyway.
Thanks for watching
Today i bought the MX KEys keyboad ... i dont know why i waited so long XD .. its the best keyboard ever .. i use it to switch between my win PC, Ipad AIr 4 and Thinkpad laptop .. no longer 3 keyboards on my desk.. i for sure will buy the mouse too ..
I've been using the Mx master 3 and the Mx craft keyboard and honestly the best keyboard and mouse setup ever
