They were probably doing WWF around 1988-1989. It was also sad none of the evil Rick heels Jake the Snake faced as a face: Rick "The Model" Martel and the late Ravishing Rick Rude.

There's a trick that I don't see mentioned on youtube to use LOD on the arcade version. Just need to make it up to them and with available credits press start on player 3 or 4. You will have control of them and continue playing with them as long as you keep continuing. I learned this on my own when I noticed it said Press start on p3 and p4 while fighting them.

Truly a one-of-a-kind guy and it's sad to think he left us, but man oh man did he give some unforgettable moments and leave such an amazing legacy behind! At least, we still got Dusty's two sons Dustin and Cody who are destined to continue to add that legacy and we still got the "Nature Boy" Ric Flair, I don't know how he does it but I'm 100% convinced that man will live to be a 100 or more LOL!

A friend of mine was the one who dumped the original ROMs for wrestlefest Back in 1997 or 1998 so it could be emulated. I was actually a beta tester when the original driver was written. The first beta I received the character sprites were all garbled but everything else is fine. So I played it for about 30 minutes that way and it was awesome. LOL

It had the energy it had the aura it had the personality it was the total package when it came to to depicting the world wrestling federation.. the super WrestleMania for the super Nintendo entertainment system never came close . the closest thing to wrestlefest I think it's Saturday night slam Masters.and what made those games so great was that the programmers was coming from an authentic place.
