I can Imagine Bach going to a riverside or walking along the woods listen the nature thinking his music, going to his family places listen his family members music, having all those feelings and producing his music, thinking one note changes entire piece and adjust all those millions of notes and beats together in harmony with his vision of life and excitement. Some people create a great society-civilisation, some just get jealous and try to destroy everything. This is the best music I've ever heard and this wonderful orchestra members are from the same discipline I believe and thank you for sharing.
What enchanting world in the ears. One could almost propose to make listen to the blind, to know if they could appreciate, to compensate for their deficit and / or to give them other joys. Compliments to the performers and thank you for this setting on line +Francesco Fornasaro
I have never had occasion to comment on flute playing, but, in this case, the playing of this gentleman, essentially leading the entire suite, is incredible. I cannot imagine how he can even manage such finger movements, let alone the spirited, pure sound he gets from the same...wow
Finally, a recording of the suites that isn’t drenched in the sanctified reverb of a church. I’m tired of this notion that it somehow 'belongs' in a church, as if that’s the only valid place for these works.
@@thomasquirder9682 I remember I had a record (or maybe I still have it and it is merely dug somewhere) by Barthold Kuijken and Ewald Demeyere. They recorded Bach's flute sonatas on historical instruments - absolutely marvellous 💕
Bach te saca de una caberna en lo profundo de tu alma te pases por el cielo lleno de nubes y estrellas . después de escuchar su música te das cuenta que la vida habría Sido una porquería sino hubiera existido.
Yes indeed, the recording is beautiful, the harpsichord sounds brutal and powerful. Listen to the harpsichord at 5:13 till 5:25 how tight it is together with the Cello, beautiful part
I love the "unfussiness" of this performance. Just play accurately and harmoniously with the other members of the ensemble, and don't try to improve the music. It takes a lot of discipline and control to be able to blend like this.
I am a bit curious, if baroque composers for orchestras with about as many musicians as a modern day chamber ensemble ( give or take a few ) I wonder how they would react to Mahler's Symphony 8 premiere, if we somehow make them familiar with the time machine technology in the near or distant future?
The early traverso didn't have an A-flat key. They used other fingerings, sometimes forked fingerings, to get there. The instrument was most in tune in keys like G and D (and e and b). The A-flat key came along as the flute developed, in many iterations, which has led us to the modern flute which is mostly in tune in all keys :)
Bloody hell.. I suspect you are right. On the other hand, don't you think there is one pan-european music where Bach and Vivaldi, Mozart and List, Maler and Sibelius, Rachmaninov and Verdi are just characters of the same story?
00:00 Overture
07:00 Rondo
08:55 Sarabande
11:44 Bourree I&II
13:28 Polonaise
16:42 Menuet
17:58 Badinerie
Thank you Sir!
Thank you!
You're a god
Ese capa sin héroe
And so what? Did you have any similar muzik?
By far one of the best recordings of this suite so glad it exists

@Serdar, thank you for this concideration .
You chose fine words .......
Me encantaron ésas palabras. Yo me imagino también a Bach caminando en el bosque.
Wonderful! This is probably the best performance of this magnificent suite.
Astonishing~~~~
the harpsichord contrasts so well with the string and wind instruments, love the finale.
What a wonderful performance! The Sarabande in this Suite always brings tears to my eyes! Thank you Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra!
You can feel the anticipation for the final movement all the way through.
Outstanding interpretation from the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra. The Suk Chamber Orchestra is another in my top list.

Excellent Playing!
I expect nothing less than the best from Mynheer Koopman and these great players. And that's just what we've got.
I love you Bach!!!
I Love it!
The Menuet and Badinerie are the best! 🙌🏼😍

La mejor versión que existe en mi opinión!
Superb performance.

You probably came for the movements starting at 13:29, 16:41 and/or 17:58.

16:42 so exquisite, and so is the rest. Thanks for uploading this!
You're welcome!
this menuet is what got me into Bach at the age of 9 :D
Da la impresion que estoy en la sala gozando la musica del genio unico de la historia de la musica JOHANN SEBASTIAN BACH
Flutist is probably the best in Bach music ever: Wilbert Hazelzet!
I quite agree. His technique and take on the music is just wonderful.
I prefer Barthold Kuijken
👏 👌

It said Bb Minor cause A415 transposes down a half step

Magistral interpretación.

SIMPLEMENTE UNA MARAVILLA
At 2:51 where the overture switches into high gear in a minor key: pure cathartics!
Yes indeed, the recording is beautiful, the harpsichord sounds brutal and powerful. Listen to the harpsichord at 5:13 till 5:25 how tight it is together with the Cello, beautiful part
just great
wäre schön eine Theorbe auch. Das passt immer perfekt.
00:25 begins.....

the person who decided to put advertisements in the middle of the movements should receive his due.
이걸보시는 한국인 여러분들께 검은방3의 류태현 루트 노래가 바로 이 노래를 본따 만들었습니다
Un placer escuchar esta armonía ,un conjuntos de notas Angélicas!!!!
Matthieu Ik krijg altijd tranen.
Esto es lo mas parecido a como sonaba la musica bach en esa epoca, increible
as a guy who is crazy about the 2nd , man you guys dot right !
Amazing sweet
What a shame that ads interrupt the beautiful rendition!
BRAVOOO! BRAVOOO!
Clean.
Maravilhoso.
Hipnotic...
i worship bach
Best at 16:45
They rocked this.
BTW, the piece is in B minor, not B flat minor as it says in the opening titles. B flat minor would be a real bitch to play in on a baroque flute :-)
Actually, the score is written in B minor but the orchestra is tuned to A 420 instead of A440, so the B is closer to a B flat.
good blees Bach!!!
16:40 Menuet and Badinerie my favorites
le Génie de Bach
Sublime!😄😄
Que Extraordinário

I know this is supposed to be the flautist's show but the harpsichordist (and his conducting)!
it opens on a cold winter night
I know it's because of baroque tuning! I use to play this peach a=415. But anyway the suite is in b minor of course!
巴哈:第二號B小調管弦組曲
Bach: Orchestral Suite no.2 in B minor
That badass harpsichord ............
Weight a second all the players are Lind up in a triangle illuminati confirmed 👁
zwaardvader yes
Dedicada a Hanna Gorbbe
Te amooo!!!

WoW
Haha, Yesterday i was playing this video in my class and within ten seconds the class was empty.
To buy a ticket or because they're cultural heathens?
the latter
Well they don't know what they missed
It’s not for all!
From 16:41 onwards, someone put this music over a video of - of all things - the iodine clock reaction!
Admin he doing it sideways
That must be fucking hard to play, especially the flute that leads the whole suite
Its best.
3:28 I like
I wish I could hear this suite irl
16:40
Is that Andrew Manze on the violin?
Yes
Habrá contextos donde se perciba más está música......invierno en el campo libre..o en en mar ....
16:42 17:06 17:18 17:30 17:45
Can anybody explain why this recording sounds like B flat minor, not B minor?
Because of baroque tuning, look it up
Seriously?
Sid Meier's Pirates brought me here 16:42 =DD
Uh,,..this is not in b-flat minor like it says at the beginning of the video.
Video commercial interrupting the music? Sorry, but that's terrible.
The flat pitch is a result of the Baroque tuning.
It's not in b flat minor but in b minor!!
Yes, the baroque diapason is A= 415 hrz
Hello
1:34
Where's the a-flat on his flute?
Probably a "forked" fingering.
All Baroque orchestras plays in a=432hz?
Baroque orchestras play almost always A=415".
The Harpsichord is a bit overpowering.
Except the version of Karajan, the best one!
You can execute me my friends, but I think Bach was more Italin than German composer. Xe-xe.
Bloody hell.. I suspect you are right.
On the other hand, don't you think there is one pan-european music where Bach and Vivaldi, Mozart and List, Maler and Sibelius, Rachmaninov and Verdi are just characters of the same story?
'B minor' but it's played in Bb minor?
No. It's played in B minor, A=415".
Arrest them for going above the speed limit!
