I remember when Blaupunkt used to come installed in all Porsche models. I guess the quality is not what it used to be when Bosch was in charge of the brand.
that is the only thing you should ever use a 4 channel amp like this for... full range door speakers. Dont use weak full range amps like this for subwoofers, you will stress it, clip it and overheat... BUY CLASS D MONO AMPS FOR SUBS!
Looking at this amp for an inexpensive setup. I have 2 full range speakers that I want to run off of 2 of the channels and I have a dual 4 ohm sub to run off the other 2 channels. Question is it better to run both channels to the sub with 2 4 ohm loads or bridged with the sub in series at 8 ohms? I am sure it won't run bridged with a 2 ohm load.
Hey, is it possible to explain after market head unites features and settings and what they do, in an episode? for example for kenwood hu, what does do BASS BOOST, LOUDNESS, SOUNT RECNSTR, SOUND REALIZER, STAGE EQ, SPACE ENHANSMENT, etc. thx
■ Bass Boost Set the amount of bass boost “OFF”/ “1”/ “2”/ “3”. ■ Loudness Set the amount of boost of low and high tones. “OFF”, “Low”, “High” ■ Drive Equalizer Reduces the driving noise by raising the bandwidth. “OFF”, “ON” ■ Space Enhancer Select the feeling of sound space enhancement. “OFF”/ “Small”/ “Medium”/ “Large”. ■ Supreme Turn ON/OFF the Supreme function. Technology to extrapolate and supplement with proprietary algorithm, the highfrequency range that is cut off when encoding. ■ Realizer Virtually make the sound more realistic using the Digital Signal Processor (DSP) system. Select the level from “OFF”/ “1”/ “2”/ “3”. ■ Stage EQ You can adjust the height of speakers virtually to suit your listening position. “OFF”/ “Low”/ “Middle”/ “High"
Need some advice. I got a 2008 Ford Taurus Working on installing this setup but need a headunit recommendation, seen your video on the Xav8000 and was leaning toward that, but Subwoofer - T2S1-16 Amp - T2500-1bdCP Also would you recommend any aftermarket door speakers?
Would be nice to see install videos for each product reviewed on your channel. I have a 🔵 Blaupunkt head unit in my 03 Corolla, but would like to add a amp. 👍
What is the difference between 2 channel mode and dual bridged? Earlier in the video you stated that 2 channel mode would be if you bridged both rows of terminals. There seems to be a big difference in power output and I plan on hooking this amp up to 2 mini subs and was going to bridge both. Should I select 2 channel mode or leave it on 4 channels?
So when we say 2 channel mode, we're reading 2 channels as if it were a 4 channel setup, each speaker getting its own set of terminals/channel. A bridged setup would be setting up would be wiring multiple speakers or subs to two sets of terminals/channels
I dont get it, the amp1504 states 150wx(rms) x4. @4ohms But Dyno on youtube says 66w(rms)x4 @4ohms. This amp has accurate spec sheet but other blaupunkt amps dont? Or are the dynos inaccurate? It was so much easier in the 90's
Now that its chinese made, they dont have to make fake ones like they do cell phones but still, they turn top of the line namebrands of past into cheap, and fake specs like they do on fake samsung phones getting away with it. Now they dont have to hide the country of orgin, just lie and over- exaggerate specs to gain sales
need your help bro, i have audiobahn a12001dt amplifier and i am running a pair of kenwood 3010 woofer on it. the thing is when i connect only 1 woofer with the amp the woofer performs very well but when i connect both of the woofers in parallel i get very low output and in my case one woofer performs great with amp. what seems to be the problem please guide me
When you're wiring them together, are you wiring them in parallel to create a 2 ohm load? If not, that's your issue. Get a multimeter to make sure you're wired to 2 ohms
@@Qualitymobilevideo i am wired properly to final load of around 2.2 ohm together still no difference. do you think it may have something to do with the car alternator? im not pushing crazy rms tho its just 400 rms combined and that amp can give 750rms @2 ohm
It's hard to tell because you aren't pulling A TON of current with those subs. It's possible. Test your battery and see where it's at while running and it could be your alternator, how many amps is it 100?
@@Qualitymobilevideo update!!!!! i reversed polarity on one subwoofer and suddenly they started to sound amazing :) ahahah i still didnt get it. btw they are both in separate enclosures
I need help finding an amp. I have 2 Kenwood 12 inch subwoofers dual voice coil overs with a 250w RMS Power and 1000w peak power. What kind of Amo should I pair it with and a wiring harness thank you.
So you don't need a wiring harness to wire subs to an amplifier. You have two DVC 2 ohm subwoofers which means you can wire to a 2 ohm or 8 ohm load. I would go for 2 ohm. You'll want a monoblock amplifier with a power range of about 450-600W RMS @ 2 ohms. Good review and even better advice.
can you explain how to connect the steering wheel controls to aftermarket chinese multimedia Headunit without adapters? thats how it works in my car but I dont understand the theory of how is works and how that connections should look like
Okay I want to know how this is impressive? They literally claim it to be 1600 Watts. The best you pulled out of anything anywhere was like 120 Watts even if you were to put that times four you would still only come up with 480 Watts not 1600.
Those voltages are the voltage measured at the OUTPUT. All the test had 14.4V on the supply. For instance at 3:20. They run 4x 4 Ohm at 1kHz with 14.4V supply and get 57.23W / 15V on the output and 1.04% distortion. Using P=U^2/R you get U=sqrt(P^R)=sqrt(57.23*4)=15.13V. The formula assumes clean signals though and I assume the slight difference in voltage compared to their stated might be from their gear factoring in the distortion. At 4:14 - 2x 4 Ohm at 1kHz 14.4V supply yields 65.45W 1% distortion, 16.04V on the output. Running the numbers as per above, sqrt(65.45*4)=16.18V Again, I assume the slight diff comes from the distortion being factored in vs not.
@@Qualitymobilevideo Am I right in the assumption that the flight difference in calculated values Vs your stated is from your meters condidering the distortion Vs the calculation not?
So? I had a $80 Pyle amp back in 1990s. Powered a set of Polk component 6.5s and a set of 6x9s louder than I cared for. Then I got a “better” more expensive 4 channel alpine. The alpine did not get as loud but did not distort as much at max volume, So what? I never came close to running the pyke amp at max volume to hear the distortion except when I did it just to test it. Way too loud for my hearing preference. if it is signal sensing with the hi level input then it is a decent easy to add amp to stock systems.
