    I have this powering 4 12" subs arranged in a double isobaric configuration. Honestly this amp was gonna be a placeholder until I could get something more powerful, but trust me when I say the 190W bridged is PLENTY! Due to the logarithmic scale, 190W is actually a whole lot of power. You'd need almost 2000W to double the perceived volume!

      So many are stuck on power, build a great box or seal your doors, 65 watts is very decent! Double ISO! Sick

      How’s the bass?

    • @Spaniard47
      @Spaniard47 Год назад +2

      @@dennisgutierrez1672 remarkably controlled. A lot less messy than one would expect for this price. Granted I have it running on $35 drivers, which themselves can sound a little bloated at lower frequencies. But I definitely don't hear anything particularly wrong with the amp. The bass is very strong and present, not a rough approximation like some prominent cheapo brands I've heard in the past.

    Got the big brother to this (a5702) on vipoutlet for like 40$ years ago and it's since been replaced. But I had it bangin on 2 ts-w261d4's wired to 4 ohms mono. Did run hot but didn't sound too bad at all and never fried. 🔉🔉

      @@SUTH_33 There are many different amps for that price range that are much much better IMO. The market is saturated with products and competition is fierce these days. I wish Pioneer still made thier "Premier" head unit line....now that's a product actually worth talking about! I have had a couple for the past 20 years that still work perfect and have outstanding sound quality and equalizer parameters that were way ahead of their time. Not sure what happened to Pioneer but not a fan of their amps at all.

    So I ordered this amp. I've gone through a couple of other amps with my set-up(PC audio output to amp, amp to long speaker wires to speakers(2) in another room). By "gone-through" i mean they would stop having audio(or low audio) on one side, left or right, like I blew them out. I'm not really sure what's going on with my set-up, because I don't really know what I'm doing, just being honest. What would be the proper settings for this, or is my set-up completely wrong?

    Question I have alpine s-s65 80 watts rms per speaker 240 peak per speaker 480 watt total combined will this amp power these speakers at 100% efficiently? As I read you put 60 watts rms x 2 channel 4 ohms these speakers are 4 ohms I’m still new to music world so I’m assuming these speakers won’t be powered by this amp?

    I just picked up the 1000w. Its ment to be 480w rms in bridged mode 4 ohms. Also its ment to do 8ohms bridged. But I don't know what the rms would be for that

    • @lagginswag
      @lagginswag 2 года назад

      Roughly 300w since it's the same as hooking up 4 ohms in stereo. The amp adds the resistances since it's class a/b 2 channel, if it was mono class d it would half them.
