One downside about a tarp is picking bugs out of your hair and ears and everywhere else lol good for emergencies

Definitely prefer a tent.. at the end of the day can be difficult enough setting up with rain and wind. Last thing you need is more work 😅

you can use a rubber band or tie a knot around the trekking pole handle from the outside so it won't collapse.

You didn't consider setting it up in a Lanshan 2 tent configuration for total enclosure?

I was actually thinking about a closed set up, but I thought that it would create too much condensation. I may try it next time. Thanks for watching!
