I'm here in holiday, in my sister's house. Castelvittorio is a really beautiful village, you eat very well, and there are more other secret places where to swim. And in 20-25 minutes you are at the sea. I love it here!
This road trip is amazing - incredible towns and so beautifully unspoilt. I’m just catching up with some of your vids after discovering the channel a few days ago…honestly the most entertaining channel I’ve discovered in a long time! Tim, your commentary and witticisms (whilst also concentrating on some tricky manoeuvring) are genius! Just superb 😁
That was just lovely thank you , what a beautiful village and nice lunch. Love Halloween and glad she went with you too. France is my favourite but Italy is special. 💕
Great journey, no tourists and gorgeous scenery! The church was a real gem, so pretty. Surprised the restaurant was not more crowded, such a great lunch! Am liking Italy my friends!
@@MeandMonAmi Just finished watching that one, started typing before I even got to the end and was pleasantly surprised to get your reply so fast. Makes me wonder how those folk make a living in remote places like that, sad to see quite a few homes up for sale so perhaps they do find it difficult. Once again, thanks for such an interesting and entertaining post
The church is gorgeous! The walls and ceilings are extraordinary! The views on the ride are very beautiful. The walk in the village looked like a fairy tale. The sign with a person going potty and a red line going through it was interesting. Are so many people doing that, that a sign is necessary to tell them not to do it??? The swimming place looked perfect!! Thanks for the wonderful video! Love from Vermont
Don't look at the view Tim !!! Mr Boo is clutching his pearls and you have a maniacal look in your eyes .. so funny the drive from the groto is comedy gold keep doing you Messrs Boo xx
Your video's are a delight to watch... Beautiful editing and lovely music! For me it's a great pleasure that you brought your woofer with you on this trip... Stellantis should pay you for these journeys, because a better promotion for the Citroën Ami is unthinkable! ❤️ U 2....
I’ve been to Castel Vittorio 2 times when i was little, i remember it as an amazing village, and even the shop owner Maria and her mother baking pies. Good times
That village! When Mr. Boo stretched out his arms to show how narrow the street was, I became VERY claustrophobic. I can't explain it. And I'm still feeling it. IDK if this is the end of the camping, but I must take a break before the next video. Well done! Except for the claustrophobia!
A great insight to Italian architecture and Italian roads. Allso the church find what a bonus feature.Perfect views and a very good foody review. A pleasure too watch. 😊
Hi guys, just found your channel and i must say you two are very interesting, love all the villages of the beaten track .love your car and camera work is excellent 👌 all the best Steve.
You are living a dream of a life my friend and you bring me so many memories as I too have spent years touring those italian villages and landscapes...thanks mate
Loving this, the Church and the Restaurant. I am further North in France but definitely think I'm going to try an Italian journey. Thank you for sharing.
What😎😎😎😎 a fantastic wee village and that food looked so tasty. Nice to finish off with a dip in the river. 50* in Mr Elton I think that would finish me off!
Thanks to this video, my daughter and I recently visited Pigna and Castel Vittoria en had lunch at the same restaurant. Best to make a reservation, as it's small and loved by the locals. The waitress discouraged us from taking the small unpaved road out of town, so we returned to Ventimiglia (we were staying in Menton) via Dolceaqua. Thanks for the tip! I visited the (inland) area between Gorges du Verdon, Grasse, and Menton to see where (if) I could see myself living there. It is beautiful but also more expensive than, for example the Pyrenees Orientales near Perpignan. Perhaps I need to make another trip...
Wow I must say that you are both more adventurous than I am. To think I was in my late 30s on arriving in France yet I never even thought of going as far afield as that. You are making me feel that perhaps I wasted part of my life by being so sedentary. Another absolutely excellent video.
I love you guy's! Greetings from Texas USA 🇺🇸 I really enjoyed this trip ( virtual ☺️) while I'm isolated in bedroom because I got the virus. God bless you both and Halloween the sweet dog.
I thought things were getting off to a bit of a shaky start around 0:27 when Mr Boo and Halloween tried to jump out of Elton but thankfully things settled down and you stayed together long enough to treat us to another really lovely episode. Thanks so much!
Looks such a refreshing swing you both had there 😉. I’m sure Mr Boo got his snorkel out but in the interests of the Channel it was edited out? Enjoy your break boys!
Did I hear you swearing, 'Folkin Jazz'. Ha! Ha! My favourite Italian meals were Mashed Potatoes, Mince and Peas, or Scotch Broth. Ok! We made it ourselves but it was in Italy. Another Very Enjoyable and Entertaining Episode. Keep up the Great work my Friends.
Great video. Really appreciate the music which coordinates with the video. I do not like videos that the music has nothing to do with the country being visited. Thanks guys!!!
Hi Guys, I found your channel a couple of weeks ago and I’m hooked. Keep doing what your doing as its informative and fun. I came for the ami but i stay for your entertaining banter. All the best!
Another dam good video, guys. I went mountain biking in Molini di Triora a few years ago which isn't far from Castel Vittorio. I'm going there again this September. 😊
Hi Tim Just seen a( pic. top corner ) of you on a video of a villa LA VIGIE that we will be staying at in OCT. Didn't know you were a multi ££. Lovely villa Might see you both or a beer !!!! Brian Argyll Scotland
Wow guys! 👍 As I already mentioned in the video for Pigna ... this is precisely one of the most characteristic and fascinating aspects of Italy and that you will not find in any tourist agency or large advertisements ... In many regions you can for example go from the sea to the hill / mountain in 30/40 minutes by car as in Calabria where I live where among other things there are three national parks (Sila, Pollino and Aspromonte) where there are rarities. such as the "Pino Laricio" present ONLY in Sila, as well as having areas equipped for winter skiing, then passing through the Canyon in the Pollino Park where you can practice rafting with a rowboat, or the Aspromonte which thanks to its unique biodiversity is destined to be cataloged as a UNESCO wordl Heritage! The latter, just like the name Aspro-Monte, offers particularly jagged and inaccessible remote places, rich in ancient uninhabited villages, rivers, streams and waterfalls of all kinds ... in short, a place that not even many locals know not being able to visit! Hello and keep it up! 😉👍
In this stinking heat, rather than accessories look into getting a white roof wrap. Regardless of the see through roof a good quality vinyl roof wrap shouldn't cost too much, a very simple application and it'll turn the roof into a reflector rather than a radiator.
You are so lucky to live in an area where you can get to all these beautiful locations. I'm so envious. I can't comment on one thing because it's all so breathtakingly beautiful. One question, where and how would a resident get to a doctor or hospital?
your production technique is very accomplished ... you make, I should imagine, quite consciously, a positive rapport with your viewees/subscribers - a not inconsiderable achievement - ever thought of approahing TV or streaming networks ?
What a great day out. On the balance, does the Ami permit you to get around easier or do the range and top speed create problems? It looks like a very useful design.
How much did you recoup on the way down. You should have noted how many km you had left when you were at the top and how much you had left when you came down.
Be careful swimming in any rivers nowadays as i hear some scary stories about the Brain Eating Amoeba lol sadly im not joking its a real thing so scary !
Wonderful background music. Made me want to dance and cry.
Thanks
Wonderful trip. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it
I could watch you both, even without your Ami. Such a love of life, and dare I say, innocence?
