Can't believe you left us on a cliff hanger ... literally! You've got more balls than us, that's for sure! Colin & Tim xx
We’ve seen your cruising in York!
lol that joke about the rings
I so love all your blogs...you men are amazing makes me wish now that i took an early retirement sell my huge home and collect my funds and hubby of 21 years and move to France to buy a home big enough for all 4 of us so you will never stop your adventures.... God keep you safe my friends
You guys are making it very exciting, now we have to wait another week to see how this adventure ends!
Perinaldo reminds me of M.C Escher’s famous staircase to nowhere! We’ll have to wait for Part 2 next week to find out if you guys made it out of the maze. Thanks for the cliffhanger! 😂😊
What? Come back, you can't leave us like this. . . . . .Oh, you just did.👍
Ah, my favourite Tupperware show! Love love love.❤️ with some Pa Larkin references.
It's like a modern take on Schrödinger's cat. Tim is 'in the box' and for a week we'll hang suspended knowing not whether he's up or down hill. Great episode. Many thanks. :)
What a great episode, that hill looked terrifying.
You sure do take a lot of people along with you in your little car. Thank you for taking us along. Very interesting place.
Lovely vlog like seeing things getting done. Take care .xx
That's The way of ending an Episodes...😂
Omg those roads are spectacular but absolutely hair raising! And it starts thundering- what could possibly go wrong ! That’s definitely a cliff hanger !
Trust me next week is both lovely and terrifying. It’s a remarkable place!
Toujours un plaisir de vous suivre dans ces aventures ! Merci ;)
The last road looked more like a piece of a roller coaster than an EUropean 2 way road...
Oh yes and it gets even more insane. Fabulous views though
Love a cliffhanger ....keep the carry on sense of humour going.
When traveling is best when shared. Thank you for those small discoveries. How many tires have gone though with the Ami, since new?
Well done guys, another very entertaining vlog. I just love your wit Tim, you always have me laughing out loud. Good for the soul. I do love a cliffhanger too 😮
Glad you enjoyed it
Well you two have cheered me up after a dismal day in which I lost my car key and my latest video has tanked. Uranus DOES have rings you know (snigger) 😉
Well that was amazing. The views were amazing but well done for driving through those roads. I have a medium sized car, so I’ll never get through those narrow streets. Looking forward to next week.
Thanks Sean.
I love the respect you give to the churches you encounter. This one was really beautiful.
They are magical places in these villages
Epic voyage around the Perinaeum of Cassini chaps! Will we ever hear from you again?
You will but we may be very wet!
Brio train set is correct mr Boo you are not wrong often
He’s almost as accurate as me;
Another hill-arious adventure that has become routine for Twiggy. Even in the beginning at around 6.12 when a bump elicited an "Ooh" and she didn't even twitch an eyelid.
She doesn’t even react to monster storms. Halloween went wild at drizzle
I loved the ending, can't wait for next week's vlog😊
Thanks Michelle
I thought you said he shat himself.
Brio yes.
That 2cv pick up must have been the Stone masons
I think it was!
I would have lived my entire life and never seen any of this...Thanks!
What a cliffhanger! 😮😅
Tim, at 7:14 in regards to offending your American fans, Thank you for saying the quiet part out loud. It's a sad and painful bit of truth that for too many of us in America "the road is getting narrower," and we would be better served to consider what you unabashedly point out, as too many of us are indeed having a blast while going silently mad in isolation, and perhaps why so many of us love getting out of the house and escaping with you.
I just sent your clip starting at your American comment, to a friend who was was giving helicopter rides at an event, where a troubled and isolated father who asked for a helicopter ride for his birthday opened the door and tried to leave the ride prematurely, nearly caused something more tragic as my friend and other passengers restrained him from stepping out.
A couple of weekends an aircraft mechanic and former airline said something that has me thinking about the "American Condition" I was chatting with him as he removed a section of tail of a parachute jump plane that was severely damaged after an new parachutist making his first solo jump pulled his rip cord while in door and and ended up tangled in the tail nearly ending his life and the life of the pilot. I asked the Mechanic and pilot how that happened, and he said, "It's a hard one to figure out but the guy was not not right, and many people are not in their right mind, and that this year he stopped teaching flying and mechanics, and flying jumpers as in the last few years, too many people have become simply too mad, paranoid and unable to think clearly to put in trust of other people's lives.
I asked him what he thought has changed, without hesitation he said: "Social media, Identity politics and drugs (prescription and non-prescription) are the top three factors, when you isolate people and scare and drug the hell out of them, what else can you expect?"
Thanks again for being there and taking us along for some fresh air and the magical flights over ferry tale villages and lands.
..😂your old headmaster sounds a fun guy!!
I’m not sure I’d have ever attached the word fun to him!;
It was 2cv pickup conversion.. perhaps unusual in a tiny village in Italy but a few running around in France and even in the UK.
Cliff hanger indeed...
And of course we love to admire Mr Boo...and you too 😊.
Crazy crazy crazy
How can anyone live in those tiny elevated nooks
Scary.
Lovely vlog.
Missed the luncheon menu..
And the obligatory rainstorm.
😮
Next week you will be on for a treat!
i can't believe the thumbnail teased us with Stelvio Pass
As one of “those” Americans I must say I absolutely loved this 26 minute trailer for next week’s video. 💙🤍❤️ Love you guys. Thanks for the teaser. I’ll be on the edge of my seat until next time. (Barefoot Mr. Boo is a man after my own heart.)
No wonder there's "cheap deals", as they say "Location, Location Location!"
Tim says “I like a cockatoo”saucy I bet😂.
How dare you leave us in “ suspenders “ at the end . Stay charged ..and focused. Can’t wait for next week .
Thanks.
I find these roads really scary. But I find scary most roads in Italy actually.
And italian for petanque is "bocce".
That’s it! bocce
But you forgot to say “Stay Charged!”. That’s the first time in I don’t know how long that you forgot your ending. 😢😂
Signs would spoil the mystery.
Also churches really upset my sense of being. I don’t understand all of these creepy statues and scary music. The last thing I want to visit our creepy places with creepy statues. But everybody’s different.
I used to hate them when I was young but now I find them very consoling
Struth, that was a lot of just driving, was thankful when Mr Boo got out of the car to check the connecting roads suitability for a bit of change, ...& then it ended, I had at least hoped the pair of you would have stopped & had a nosey in the local cafe bar restaurant, ...sadly not, more driving.. a bit ho-hum compared to your naked skydiving episode.
See you next week then.
Hi Tim, not commenting on the video but just wondering if you read the article in todays Guardian by Ros Coward on the state of current E-car ownership in the UK?
I didn’t but I will
What a beautiful places it looks like something straight out of a fairy tale!
Those roads are terrifying, one small mishap could end in tragedy. I hope everything went well on the way back and you all managed to leave safely. But we'll have to wait for the next episode to find out ;)
They are magical and strange and the roads are wonderful and insane!
Haha, you remind me of my ex when driving.. She also always looked at me, even in pretty dangerous situations.. It is pretty isn't it, Italy.. Even though it's road network can be a bit... weird? But at least the quality of the roads seem to be better than they are in the UK 😂 Committal move, driving down that steep track though! Will the storm come in? Exciting 😄
My best friend is gay and wants to come visit you both next year. Why not get a place you can rent out, you can make more money.
Why don't you choose a location on the Amalfi Coast instead of Dolceacqua? 🙃
Cos our little electric car can’t go that far! But we’d love to explore the amalfi coast
Are you still on a mountain road? Perhaps you have had to make the village your home?! I just wonder how that new and very wide Land Rover Defender got into that carpark. I count Pandas too (owned one until I moved over to EVs about 3 years ago - and waiting for the new electric model) 🐼
Very wide!
Speaking as an American, I do not feel in the least bit alienated by that spot on description of far too many Americans.
Plastic fantastic lol
To be continued…never good news😢 I am curious why you didn’t drone the area to see where that road led to? I don’t think Americans are insulted about your gun reference, we Americans know we have guns, the more the better, usually, Americans do not commit suicide by guns( Kurt Cobain, exception), Americans usually shoot about 20 or so people, then maybe shoot themselves after the fact. If those cables are the side of the road were in America, they be stolen overnite😂 thanks for sharing❤
Quentin crisp used to say ‘mass murderers are simply people who’ve had enough!’
Oo a cliffhanger 😮
