When a Steely Dan producer asked in an interview how Donald sang into the rhythm back in the 70's
      he said :"He punched in"
means he kept singing until the track was perfect.

I don't know why but STEELY DAN always reminds me of New York city
I always put them in some kind of category relating to New York. Can anybody tell me if I'm just crazy or not?

As a keyboard player, I think it would be great to just have to haul around a tiny melodica and THAT would be your entire setup. This is so nice to hear live with Mike McDonald's backing vo

Leonid and Friends is the only other band that can pull off performing any Steely Dan songs. They also do great justice to Chicago.
