Thank you so much on the info man, love your work even though you don't enjoy EDM! Can you make a tutorial on how to make SIGILKORE music like Odetari? I feel like it might be a great video and would also be a change in pace for you ❤
Great tutorial man! Honestly, I feel like a lot of this stuff comes naturally over time as you keep making music. Even without diving deep into music theory, you just start to pick things up instinctively without even realizing it. If you know what I mean.
8:16 you're not the only one dawg. Even Avicii and many others don't just learn music theories. Instead they just simply use their ears. It's pretty common
I like that you said towards the end that you make the chords by listening with your ear, that's how i work to and i keep working until it sounds how i imagine it, sometimes i already know what drum sets, bass and other instruments i want to use to it's getting the notes correct for that melody that i'm imagining. All the sample tracks you made were really good too especially the last one
Wow this was an awesome tutorial. Chords and music theory has always been a struggle for me and this video helps me so much, thanks bro 👊 Also, thanks for the MIDI and preset pack yesterday, it’s so good and I already made a new track with it last night. BTW, did I spot Lion 4.0?! My wallet is ready for it 😂💸
I love u....Yeah, its an inspiration to not go by book all the time....Its an art, and we're free to do it how we like it...People who understand our feelings(of the chords/melody) will find it beautiful...
You started good explaining theory but lost it cause you aint explaining why the chords work on those genres, or what are the chords you can use in any key for example chords 456 for afro house in any key might work cause thats what the industry is using, you just told your followers to trust their ears and thats good but press n guess isnt better or reliable for beginners… just saying anyway nice IDS
This video is really dangerous! It makes people with no music theory knowledge think that they can actually make music!!! By the way, what we call “afro-house” here in Africa in not that European stuff that you showed at the beginning,

Hey savage I downloaded this pack and I was saw that you make a mistake. It’s on Melodic Techno chords cuz you named Melodic Techo
What?
@@savagesounds he means that instead of "techno" it says "techo"
