- Embraer E175 from Santa Barbara, California (KSBA) to Portland, Oregon (KPDX). Footage is a mix of GoPro and Nikon D7500 shot in full 4K resolution. I decided to leave the original audio instead of adding music, as feedback on other videos points to a preference for the actual audio.

Great video! Planning on starting flight school soon, so very captivating.
Try to find a different career. Aviation is done for, for st least 3-4 years. Layoffs and furloughs like never seen. Even regional and majors recruiter positions are being dropped for the foreseeable future. I have a friend recruiting for SkyWest (Regional for American Eagle, United Express, Compass), he got moved back to the line in June, hes a Capt of 2 yrs, and then in mid August he got offered furlough, at least 2 yrs and pay for only 6 months to a year.
A relative at United, has flown for them 26 yrs, he said back on Sept 9th that Uniteds 11000, pilots (this is United the majors, not regionals), is going to be under 4000 pilots by mid Oct. The last time United had that low number of pilots was 1960's!!!!!. It is sad.

I love seeing guys click off the AP and hand fly. Hand flying in that bird looks quite smooth. He also greased that landing. Sometimes I wish I would've chose QX/AS.

Courtney Johnson I use premiere pro for all the editing. That’s done with a shape animation.

what GoPro accessory did you use for the right backside view from the copilot's seat? I want to record my flights but not sure what accessory should I get for my GoPro.
Hi! It was the ram mount go pro accessory with a ram mount suction cup attachment. Not cheap, but will last a long time!

Hi! Certain employees of the airline are allowed access. It varies from airline to airline, and it is only a handful of people!

My favorite plane is Delta 757 i bet you'd like to fly one of those i wish they would kerp it around but most of them are riching 30yrs on them it sad i wish they build them add new neo engine's and screw that max8 i like the giraffe look tall lean and mean not fat a flumpu there too low to the ground the 737 and the seats are cramped

It weird how the yoke is designed looks like handlebars on a bicycle dam when you took off and camera got a shot of a hill on fire i thought of KOBE Bryant helicopter Rip kobe his daughter gigi and all on board RIP i like those ER 175 planes there cool looking and 14,ooo thrust per engine 28000 total pretty impressive the egine was typed after the A10 warhog thunderbolt

Hi, not really. The toughest part is finding yourself in a position/job where you can legally be admitted to the flight deck. The list of people admitted to the flight deck got considerably smaller after 9/11. Beyond having access, it is just as simple as getting permission from the captain.
Right. Permission comes from the captain. Forgiveness comes from the FSDO. :-)
