I picked up on that right away and found it distracting/annoying. I have encountered other young women speaking like this and assume it's some sort of lazy speech habit that can be conquered with a bit of practice. This is not a good habit.
In general, it is possible to do that, yes, but unlikely and will require careful watching. But ultimately what you’re supposed to do is transfer a piece of healthy tissue to an agar plate or create a liquid culture from it, from which you can innoculate a new batch of sterile substrate.
Once the mushroom begins to fruit, it typically takes about 7-10 days for the fruiting body to mature and be ready for harvest. As for consumption, we'd recommend either adding it into stir-fries/soup or turning it into a tea (you'll need dried lion's mane).
I have a huge question I am growing the same type of mushrooms me I am 100% blind did not know what I was doing. I accidentally unknowingly soaked the block overnight, which found out big mistake! I have mushrooms growing, but I am now getting a sour buttermilk smell from the mushroom block. Does this mean the whole thing is contaminated? And should I throw it away? i’ve tried drying it out and it still smells the same. I still have mushrooms growing, but do not know what to do. because I was told the mushrooms are yellow and kind of brownish…
Yes, you might have introduced contamination. You can try posting some pictures of it on our FB group 'DirtMagicians: Tribe of Food Gardeners Learning 2 Grow From Other Gardeners'. We'll try our best to help identify if it can be salvaged. From the sound of things, it doesn't look too great so we'd definitely recommend disposing of the block and starting fresh.
@@dirtmagicians I threw it last night around midnight, carried it to the dumpster next to my apartment… I couldn’t take it no more the stench was just too much… thank you for getting back in touch with me I will be trying over. I definitely want to grow mushrooms. I can grow plants lol this one threw me for a loop. I had my phone read the directions, and I totally misunderstood everything… but I’ll be definitely be trying it over and what I learned, I won’t be messing up this next go around…

How do you know when your lions main is ready to be harvested? 🤔 Some lion main I have seen has really long teeth formation and others the teeth are short. I am just not sure when I should cut it and eat it.

Thanks so Mush for this amazing, and informative video about growing Lion's Mane. Love this!!!
You're welcome 🥰 Thank you for making great kits! Hehe also love the pun!
She has a remarkable vocal fry
Ugh now that’s all I hear
I picked up on that right away and found it distracting/annoying. I have encountered other young women speaking like this and assume it's some sort of lazy speech habit that can be conquered with a bit of practice. This is not a good habit.
It's horrible. Not sure why it became a thing.
Thanks a lot for your tips, I having brown and bacteria issues as of now and I will fix it asap.
When your lions Maine is ready exactly how many days does it take for completion?
It depends on the kit, temperature etc. but for us about 10 days!
should i cut off the brown parts right away ,will leaving it there contam the rest of the healty mushroom already growing?

Great video! You guys are awesome
Thanks Naveena! That is so kind of you ☺️
Hi Bri and Dee. Saw your clip on IG, and didn’t realize you have a YT channel until now! Great video. You’ve definitely peaked my curiosity!
Hey Valerie! We have loved watching all of your indoor seeding videos. Great work!
Thank you, this video was really helpful, I also missed the humidity bag. The mushroom didn't grow beard and turned to yellow.
So how did you make the extraction for the active ingredient
I have grown other mushrooms and researched those like crazy but for some reason I just winged it with the lions mane I’m growing that are brown now
Should I just pluck these brown ones and see what it does
Yes, go ahead and pluck the brown ones. Keep an eye on your growing conditions like moisture, ventilation, and light for the next batch.
Such a great video, thanks.
How long does that kit last? Can you move all of it in the bigger container?
Amazing vid
Okay how do you harvest and consume it for your health?

Excellent! Also if you buy a kit, they are pretty good at responding to your inquiries about growing if you have any issues.
@@raymondmead6109 Sounds like you made the right call!

Sustanibility, rezonating with this and bonding... Sooo third eye vibe.
Can you grow lions mane in grain/manure grow kit?
Yes, it's possible! But from what we've read, Lions mane is best on sawdust.

great question! And thats where we made our mistake. I think as soon as you start to see any browning and aging to cut it then!
Cool informative vid, could do without the acting through a conversation. I nearly stopped the vid.
🤩🤩🤩🤩
Thanks Kayla!
Vocal fry is the ugliest habit anyone would like to hear. It's so annoying
Is the nose ring optional...feel sorry for these people
What does that have to do with anything?
LOL who cares man !
They are teaching u how to save money. And how to grow mushrooms for ur own benefiting reasons.
